Travel from BKK Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya for less than $10. I think this is the best way due to price. If you take the plane route you will still have to find a ride to your hotel. Sorry for the poor camera work. This is my first TH-cam video. Please comment and let me know how I did and where I can improve. Also include how you would get to Pattaya from BKK. I love your positive outlook on this lounge! It’s not great, but it beats being out at the gates (usually), and I personally love instant oatmeal so… 🤣 But seriously, thank you for making this video. I have a short layover at ORD soon, and I’ll be checking this space out, especially since I’ll be with my infant. I’d feel more comfortable with my baby in this lounge than out in the open at the gates.

The Swissport lounge is easily the worst Business Class lounge anywhere on earth. This conclusion from a seasoned traveler. Small, no windows, drab in appearance, awful furnishings seemingly acquired from Goodwill. Curt reception, very limited selection of edibles, many of which are paper-wrapped as when you were a child and mom made a sandwich for lunch. In fairness, the massive expansion of ORD is the reason, but the opening of what will be world-class individual airline lounges is a long time into the future. At least the drinks selections is adequate, so go ahead and get tipsy while awaiting your flight and to forget the feeling of being trapped in the 1970s.

I would have to disagree my friend. I’ve been to that lounge as well on th same day. I still prefer this lounge over the Thai Orchid lounge. But hey, it may be the time or the day we visited. @@phonsavanhtravel you sure it was the royal orchid prestige and not one of the thai royal silk ones you went to? orchid has a chef with fresh meals cooked to order and a big fancy array of hors d'ourves, plus the free masseuse, bartender mixing drinks with a full bar, etc while the thai royal silk and the miracle lounges are usually a buffet, cheap finger food snacks, no masseuse, grab your own drinks from just a handful of bottles, and way more people shuffling around. to me it's night and day the differences. anytime i fly out of bkk i always look to fly thai business for that reason (and their fast lane from check in to the lounge). that lounge is one of the best in the world if you ask me. though i didn't try the soups lol edit: just realized they might call them all Royal Orchid lounges since that's their frequent flyer club name, Royal Orchid. they then differentiate them with the specific names: Royal Orchid Prestige or Royal Silk. I should have been more specific at first, I see how it can get confusing.

Thank you for your comment Dan. I love the engagement as it sparks debate. You are correct it is less than $10. When we were there the exchange rate was 32.65 to $1 US dollar. We paid an extra 100 baht for the shuttle to the hotel. So 300 baht came out to $9.18 cents so it’s less than $10. Safe travels.

I haven't been in this lounge for quite some time so it is nice seeing the interior. It has actually improved from the last time that I saw it. The location being wrong is quite funny because the terminal had the gates renumbered due to the renovations. What is now M14 was actually M8 and the new M10 was the old M7. They should really update that.

Yes they should really update it. I had to ask a Delta sky lounge employee walking by if he knew the location. Too bad there aren’t any more lounges in O’hare though as a lot of my priority pass friends travel through there a lot.

Can you show how to save on flight to Laos and Thailand? And all the tour steps? Thanks 😆 😂

For now I can provide advise on how to book tickets and such. I usually travel once a year to that side of the world to visit family. I have used many airlines such as UNITED, Singapore, China, and Japan airlines before and just now thought about posting my adventure. I am currently creating a video of our travel on Japan airlines to Bangkok together and onward. I used a tour company based out of Laos to pick us up from Ubon. So stay toned.

As for your steps that all depends on what you want to do. Just remember everything is negotiable.

Please elaborate on your question. What do you mean legit from scam? Are you referring to the bus ride?

@@phonsavanhtravel you have some Transportation stands bus ticket that's what I mean by telling the difference between legit and scam stands there are a scam that somehow sit inside a legitimate establishment such as the airport then you have legit stands that will forward you to a scam bus price and then you have scam prices where the bus drivers ask for extra money then again you have those bus drivers where you pay at a legitimate ticket stand and still won't allow you to get on that's what I mean by telling the difference between legit and scam

I think I understand what you’re referring to. Yes, scams are all over regardless of where you go in this world. Just have to do your research. But Thailand has really ramped up the regulation to protect tourists. As for the booths in the airport that booth is legit. And the bus company that partner with them along with price is fair. The taxi are a different story. I always ask for the meter. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. If I don’t have the answer I will definitely try and find it to put your kind at ease. I have family in that part of the world and have the need to visit them regularly. Stay safe and safe travels.
