Hi I recently brought a aquarium and fish on the same day and the shopkeeper told me to add the water given by him along with the fish given by them and no pre process is required. The next day 4 fish died and daily 1 fish is losing its life. One strange thing observed on the dead fish is white larvae type creature. Can you tell me how to remove those white larvae creatures as all my gold fish are dying.

Just bought a 21 L fish tank since my platys are getting bigger. I have made a huge mistake when I first had my nano fish tank a month ago which lead me to losing 7 of them. I didn’t do any research, totally ignorant of the nitrogen cycle and I definitely did overcrowd them. I was just so excited and dumb at the same time. Good thing platys are really quite hardy so I still have 11 of them and 2 electric green tetras. I am worried about the nitrite constantly reading 1ppm for a couple of days in the nano fish tank. Can I just pour the water into the 21L aquarium including the substrate and other ornaments to help instantly cycle it? Of course also the platys and tetras.
