Not really, they are closer to roman mixed with the visuals of (suprisingly), Mesoamerican buildings.
I discovered this song recently and was released in 2012... how many years wasted! I love this song, the music, the violin, the lyrics, the performance, i'd love to have the violin partiture even if i am a begginer

I love how the Atlantean Gods were pretty much just the Pre-Olympian Greek Gods. Although some were Olympian era too, such as Helios.
hell yeah, they had a great idea going for that honestly. the Titans are so critical! worth saying Helios is indeed a Titan and there were other Titans that were worshipped during "Olympian" times such as Hekate
@@sologemeni yep and Prometheus too. He was also worshipped by the Greeks in Olympian times too. After all, he did help bring fire to mortals in mythology
@@RexfromIslaNublar hate to say "um actually" but the Titans were on average not worshipped by the Greeks and if so under very specific circumstances. there is no cultic worship of Prometheus as we would expect from the major Olympian gods. the only exception I am aware of was him being honored in Athens but he was explicitly not "worshipped." in that regard, the Titans expansion for AoM is utterly fantasy and the only Titan that was actually cult worshipped that I can think of from the top of my head (besides Helios) is Hekate. Titan "worship" was not really a thing and the little proof we have of it having existed is very niche, specific, and certainly not widespread. Prometheus and Athenian devotions are a clear exception
Gaia, Kronos and Oranos aren't technically Titans though right, just their children?

English lyrics: Many lands burned in the past On a bad summer of fire Powerless on a year of fires, Not a lot was left unburnt We tilled, we dug And we found the worm of death Its embers we sowed In wrapped linen, its ancestorless face An unbound cloth rose On one summer night We tilled, we dug And we found the worm of death (The worm of death refers to the European adder, the only venomous snake found in Finland. They were seen as major pests by farmers, and were surrounded by a plethora of folk magic practices and beliefs. The fires refer to a farming method called slash-and-burn, or kaskenpoltto on Finnish. A part of a forest is cut down and burned to create new, nutrient-rich field. A bad year of fires would mean that the fires were uncontrollable, and thus too much of the forest or the surrounding area was burnt. Someone more knowledgeable about Finnish kaski practices, please feel free to correct me! This is just my speculation, but considering the existing folk practices, I think the song implies that the adder was to blame for the unsuccessful kaski. By burying a snake, people would ask for its protection against pests and disease. So wrapping it in linen and burying it was probably done in an attempt to salvage the field, at least in the context of the song.)
Moi!
My great thanks to you. Been listening to this tune for years now and whished i knew the lyrics.
Sehr schön die Musik

Lyric translation from the Ranarop CD liner notes: Like flowers rising from the ground Like apples growing from the branch Is the folk song for man and maid But folk wisdom when it dies So let the tone flow from our hearts And let us sing and let us dream There is so much to bog us down The black things are banished as soon as we sing But give me the songs of the homeland, And let us sing in the ancient way And let us sing without books Singing by the book is so high and mighty
When prostagma? became skopos?
