@@JJArden I’m okay mate I take my medicine and stay sober nowadays so that helps
@@AlunDavies-tm2lt yeah good on ya mate hard work init
@@JJArden yes it can be at first but I’ve been sober and clean seventeen years now so that’s easy but the medicine makes things difficult like sleeping regular hours and stuff
I was on a section and then ended from the ribs system guess what helping support I've got now out in the community none because I'm classed as a whistle blower on child abuse so now I get no help with anything so trust me when I say things are struggling I'm struggling and I can't have no help from nobody because nobody wants to help nobody wants to get involved no matter what I've had that many people over the years and I will help but never do soon as I find it all out to turn the backs every single person nobody will take the state on when the mate mistakes a mental health is being used as a guideline to shut people up so I mentally ill when I try and complain and then they can leave me alone and not even take up the complaint trust me I've tried I've been on TH-cam I've tried I've gone to the office when I've tried I've gone to NBC I've gone to everything anything you can think of in the UK regarding the NHS in making a complaint I have nothing at all nothing at all just in a worse situation with nowhere to turn

@@Evans_Yellow hahahahhaha I know. Thanks mate. You solved a mystery even the police themselves could not fathom.
I got sectioned back in feb this year I was really paranoid was hearing voices of a spirit beeing thats what I thought, I've had mental health problems going back to my teens never fitted into society friends only one relationship and it did not last long, I did struggle educational learning and devolpment problems from primary school, I've said some really upsetting things to people and I don't know why find it hard forgiving myself had problems at work as a result can't make sense out of anything feeling like my emotions are hard to control beeing feeling a lot of anger over the last few years had thoughts to hurt people which really worries me and upsets me makes me feel really anxious, never been diagnosed for any mental disorder but I'm waiting for some tests for Autism and dylexia
@@richardmell299 sounds rough mate. The world is a cruel place and I can relate to a lot of the things you have mentioned. I’m here if you want to talk. I found something that works for me. I’m not on any medication at the moment though I do not deny it helped me in the past. However, maybe this is something I needed all along. I discovered it a few years ago and mention it in this video. It’s food grade peppermint oil. Calms the soul. It is very strong. I put it on my skin and I take it orally. It is healing me better than anything I have ever used before. Check the link in the description of the video. I highly recommend using it.
My partner was in clock View hospital Walton Liverpool I wouldn't take a dying dog to this hospital my partner schizophrenia there was nothing nothing to do on the ward he was there for 8 Months this year he should of been allowed home he didn't feel listened to he died on July 25th the police were investigating his death this has a reputation of alot of suicide
@@Kath-gk3yv yeah that’s very sad I’m so sorry for your loss. I am hoping to change things for the better so things like this don’t happen again. As I know full well what it’s like on a mental health ward. And some people take the medication all their lives and are never truly better.
@@JJArden thank you some people who work in mental health just don't belong there they don't give time or patience thats why I'm highlighting this hospital its disgusting how many people took there lives there
@@Kath-gk3yv yes there is definitely a reason for it. The doctors and nurses aren’t quite understanding the deeper hidden issues that cause mental health in the first place.

Great video! Very brave in sharing your story we need to see more of these. Unfortunately my experience was quite traumatic but I’m glad it helped you
@@hummingbird4934 thank you! Yes I am not denying the whole experience was quite traumatic for me as well at the time. But it was mainly everything that led up to me being sectioned, each time I have been. When I got there I did not like it at first, but it turned out to be quite therapeutic for me personally. I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. If you want to talk about it I’d love to know more.
Perhaps your neighbour needed treatment as well?
Perhaps, but there’s just no helping some people in this world. The guy who was smoking is not a nice person whatsoever. If you knew him you’d understand. He has autism but is genuinely horrible.
Also he wasn’t even my neighbour. My so called neighbour, who is now dead. Was letting this cunt stay there. He was an absolute abuser.
It's better than it was in hospital n view of mental health is better x 😅
Yes definitely! It’s come a long way in the past few years
My exsperience at oakwood bristol was terrible scared me for life stephen barrett
Why was it so bad?
@@JJArden yes it was awful told everyday we treat it like hotel git told we are racist when all we wanted was help someone to talk to and be treated like human beings with respect told by top doctor to pack and leave no where to go fur therapy or help just given pills told to shut up and go away released patients that are still very unwell who need lots of support but just told to go and no outside support at all this is why they end up killing themselves
@@carolbarrett9207 yeah I have had a similar experience once when I was actually in prison and was seeking the doctors help. They said they had heard enough of what I had to say and kicked me out of the mental health wing. I should have been sectioned instead of sent there in the first place. Upon my release I eventually got the help I needed. Keep going. Sometimes the medication is the only thing that will help. But I also know how hard it is having no one to talk to. What sort of mental health problems do you suffer with?

@@angelsnow2695 sorry to hear you’re going through a tough time at the moment. Don’t worry about being sectioned though if it comes to that. It’s nothing to be afraid of. It’s a very safe environment and there are staff looking after you around the clock. It might not seem ideal at first but only good things can come from it in my experience. The doctors and staff there may be able to examine you more closely and be able to prescribe a more suitable medication for you that gets rid of the pain. That’s what happened for me. I was in a lot of physical pain before I was sectioned and nothing would get rid of it. I also didn’t see the point in taking the medication the mental health doctors would prescribe as I didn’t think it would treat my physical pain. But after being forced to take it for a year or two my pain went away. I’m not sure where you will be sent to if you are sectioned, they try to keep you as local as possible but it is wherever there is a bed available so it could be quite a distance away. You are allowed visits and your phone though to keep in touch with those close to you. Try not to worry! Whatever happens, happens for a good reason and I’m sure your CPN just wants the best for you!

If you are not cooperative you'll be there for life.
It’s more than co operative, it’s appreciative of the help and the realisation that you are un well and these people are just trying to help you. It takes trust, guts, determination and a whole lot of belief in the greater good. That’s the only way you will ever get better
This is ace bro
Thanks mate!!
I've just a few hours ago, watched my mum get taken away under sector 2 of mental health, with the police restraining and cuffing her, and going in the ambulance with her, she refuses any help, and refuses to ever see a doctor/nhs or take medicine. but now after 9 years of trying, I have finally managed to get her the help she needs. they will keep her upto 28 days, but i am so worried.
Don’t be worried my friend! And well done for being there for her and getting her the help she needs! It might be daunting at first for her, and she might not want to be there, but mental health wards are very safe places and the staff will be keeping an eye on her around the clock. Hopefully she will come to terms with the idea of taking medication and see that the doctors and nurses there only want the best for her. It might take a long time, but this may well be the first step towards her getting better. It changed my life for the better going in hospital under a section. I also refused any help and fought the system for years and had to be forced to take medication. I have been through the worst times of my life still rejecting the help simply because I truly believed they didn’t understand and would make me worse. But, after a year or two I was a changed man! I didn’t want to be there at the time, but looking back on it, hospital was a really positive experience for me. I even spent Christmas and new years in there once! I’m so glad I went through it and I am now out of the other side. Hopefully I will never have to go through it again, but it’s reassuring that this system is in place to help me get on the right track again if I ever do relapse. I wish you and your mum all the best and hope she gets well soon!
Hay bud,.came across your vid a few days back,.what would be your advice on going into a phyc hospital for drug withdrawal,.if it was putting you in a unstable bad state of mind,do they accommodate for stuff like that
Thanks for watching mate! It’s not really the place for drug withdrawal and I have seen people come in who are going through that, but they are given some basic care and then allowed to leave. I think rehab is the best place for that kind of thing. As Mental Health Wards are designed for people with mental illnesses rather than people withdrawing from drugs.
@@JJArden cheers for the reply man,.yea I’ve had somet going on with mental health before the withdrawal bud,.half the reason i started the withdrawal, mental health is a bitch when it’s out of control
