Thanks Przemek. Still got lot a going on but hope to start cranking up the material in a few weeks time once the room is finalised. Glad you enjoyed the vid....the musket and pike series looks interesting. We are trying the same rules later using ECW so be interesting to see how they hold up :)

@charleslatora5750 yes indeed, my lad has moved out and therefore a room swap in progress :) slow work balancing family, work and hobby....hobby missing out currently!

@gre8132 the kriegspiel book i picked up 25+ years ago....these are not in print now but you may pick one up second hand on ebay or equivalent. Too fat lardies produce lots of kriegspiel related material so worth checking there also :)

@przemekbozek hi Przemek thanks for your comments as always appreciated yes the new ...titles look interesting...I agree particularly some of Worthington more recent games look a little rushed.. the ones I own hit a good sweet spot for a game in a few hours and production values are always good...I agree sometimes the simulation can be a little simplified, although I thought chancellorsville and the holdfast series were excellent:)

Hi Alex toh is great for a skirmish type game. If you want a full scale samurai battle there are a couple of options...banzai and also killer katanas., enjoy its a great perion :)

@@AndrewSmith-fd3fi hi Andrew, simply the tokens in the call it qids game are thin card and i wanted to mount them so bought some mdf bases and cut some to size also, as prefer a thick counter to move :) may well do a video on this game in the future :)

@@prasutagustheorwellwargamer Do you get PnP and do the same sort of thing, so handy pritstick or do you add a varnish or such like? Overview of your process be handy and recommended does and don't with MDF and adhesive.

@@AndrewSmith-fd3fi not really done much pnp, but what i have has been mdf and prit stick....if cards, playsheets involved i print on thin card and laminate or card sleeve them

@Caniswalensis thanks for your question. Have played these a few times in small scales. They provide a fun game, with clever mechanics and choices for the player throughout. Of course being an osprey limited size rules set some limitations but overall i liked it and would play again. Provides a period feel :)

@prasutagustheorwellwargamer thank you for the breakdown. We have been playing them using 54mm plastic soldiers. It's the first time any of us have played Napoleonics. It has been a journey. :-)

@buckospiffle594 Thanks for your kind words, and glad you are enjoying the channel. Cdg are a tricky one and there is no perfect answer ....sometimes i play both sides and try not to think about the other hands, sometimes use a solo bot if available, bgg often has great stuff produced by other gamers. My other technique is to pick several cards i would potentially use and roll randomly to decide which one...i often play solo myself so appreciate this is not an easy fix :)
