De herfst staat soms voor ruig winderig weer. Striemende regens en donkere luchten. De herfst kan ook bevrijdend werken bij mens en dier. De herfst kan rust geven in je hoofd, je lijf. Even de boel de boel laten en stil genieten van wat het leven je biedt. Tot je zelf komen en desnoods dromen over betere tijden. Je even een kabouter voelen … Tekst: Piet Eelants

Tijdens het KOM korenfestival te Oosterhout op 29 september 2018 werden door de zanggroep Eijgen "Wijsch" uit Raamsdonksveer, de Loswalklinkers uit Dongen uitgenodigd om samen met hen het lied The fields of Athenry te zingen.

Union job , operator can't work too fast , that's why he's so slow . Such a Beautiful building having to be torn down . So much good reuseable wood and brick .

Very sad. It is unfortunate that those who believe in god or at least need a place for quiet reflection on their lives and those around us are seeing these historic resources shrink and shrink, especially as Christianity is the foundation of almost the entire 'western world' which has been copied and now engulfs the entire planet. Just remember that Golden rule- "Do to others, as you would have them do to you" with that rule we could get rid of all war, all crime and all selfishness.

This should be paid for complete work, because if it's payed per hour...... The operator knows how to operate the crane, but must to receive a little notion of how the structure works. With this, the roof should be done in less than the half time it lasted.

Het is zonde om te zien maar wie zou dit gebouw willen onderhouden zonder functie meer als er een handje vol mensen komt? Het is al een tijdje weg nu.

Because the Diocese needed the money, there are houses now at this place. No church tax in the Netherlands, the church is broke. Main reason for closure: very low church attendance.

unlike what demo crews do in america , the dutch recycle , for that reason their demo is very systematic and calculated , not like americans whom seem to be in a race to tear it down asap and put everything onto the same heap without sorting materials .
I was saddened to see how much of the beautiful thing wasn't salvaged ..... maybe there was more we didn't get to see ..... the blokes were pretty quick to get the copper flashing 😇

peter bruineneberg ga jij nog naar de kerk dan? Ja, dan leer je dat haat geen zin heeft, en indien nee, dan is het je eigen schuld dat je cultuur verloren gaat, niet van de nieuwkomer.
Waarom werd het gesloopt dan?
Omdat de kerk vóór de sloop al een aantal jaren leeg stond. Er was een discussie over het eventueel geven van een andere bestemming aan het kerkgebouw, onder andere een multifunctioneel centrum. Technisch was dat mogelijk, maar de kosten van verbouwen en met name het onderhoud van het pand in de jaren daarna was een struikelblok. Dus besloot men tot sloop. En op de plaats waar de kerk stond ligt nu een deel van de centrumring en achter de kerk zijn huizen gebouwd.

Think about the ground condition of the Netherlands; it is sandy and swampy. If you drop too much at once, the water mains and other structures far around might not be too pleased.
