I saw them first time at Thessaloniki- Greece suport to Nick Cave & The Bad Sheeds for "Do you love me?" tour.As they said, they listen the song for first time a day before to the airport when they arrived and deside to make a cover of it

The Hiller was faked if that's what your referring to when you said "it worked back then". In the Hiller footage it flew effortlessly. The narrator even said it was hard to topple. You say these are dangerous. Contradiction. Other than a short piece of old grainy footage produced by the US military back in the cold war. In the last 60 years have you ever seen a vehicle of this type successfully fly? .. No !.. Why ? Because the Hiller was faked and these type of craft cant physically fly.

The funny thing is that it did work back then. The only reason they didn't go with it is the danger aspect of it. Think about it. One fan means low stability but high maneuverability, doesn't sound like a good mix.

It's flying on ground effects , and it looks like the CG is too high with a standing pilot. I wonder how it likes water. I applaud the effort and ingenuity, but I can't think of anything I could do with it besides float around the lawn, if it mowed grass.......

I've seen them live - years ago - and they played one of the best versions of Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne" that I've ever heard. As usual Warren made a very long announcement, and then he did not say the song title, instead he spoke the lyrics and then was gliding into the song. Fantastic!
