I agree with you, Seasons 1 and 2 were the better ones in this Chapter. Me personally? If I had a tier list, I'd put Vibin' and Paradise at B, Flipped at A and The Resistance at S. Flipped was an amazing launch season. Great new map, weather mechanics, winter fest, I liked some of the BP skins a lot, shield keg, med mist, mk, stinger, tents and the web shooters! One of my favourite mythics! This season was so refreshing and revolutionary after the stale Chapter 2 Season 8! (The live event was amazing though) Oh yeah and we got a mini solo introduction in Season 1 at the campfire which I liked! The Resistance... 👌😙 (Chef's kiss) Great battle pass, the storyline was peak, loved the imagined order Vs the seven theme, epic donated a bunch of money to Ukraine and didn't promote the season much, the latter sounds bad but they did it out of respect of the sensitive topic, they couldn't have just cancelled the season, zero build was introduced, the blimps, tanks, more car mods, drivable battle buses, cannons (thank you for reminding me of those) and the repair torches were great gameplay additions, and the collision live event was spectacular! For me, when I put a season in S tier, everything has to be great, and it was! Vibin' sounded great on paper, but it got stale very quickly. The theme, rideable animals, new POIs, ballers, reality saplings, grapple glove and Darth vader's Lightsaber (not that I got to use it much because I think that was the only Lightsaber in the season and everyone was after it) were great but unfortunately there just wasn't enough content spread out across the season to keep it worth playing, everything was brought in a once apart from a couple things. I don't watch Dragonball but that update and mythics were amazing! The cloud and kamehameha were so fun to use! If that update hadn't have happened I probably would've put Vibin' at the C tier. There was hardly any storyline either and the battle pass was mid, I only really wanted Darth Vader and Malik was kind of a cool idea but still kinda mid. Paradise was better but not good enough for the A tier imo. The chrome splashes and chrome weapons were really fun, the tornado came back chromed, a lot of POIs were in the air so I could glide a lot (I love gliding and skydiving) and we got Grriz, one of my favourite Fortnite skins, in the pass! The Fortnitemares event wasn't the best but I liked the wolf claw mythic, but I didn't like the map overall as seeing everything in one colour became dull. That's why I didn't like Chapter 2 season 8 much either, everything was just orange and purple by the end of the season. People say the herald is from the last reality but how do we know this? Plus, the nothing was introduced and talked about in Chapter 4 Season 1 too but that was it. If the last reality came back, it was for nothing. They destroyed the island and didn't even try to take the Zero Point which was their goal wasn't it? Plus, Fracture was terrible. They made an end of Chapter live event in UEFN. Really? And all it was was 2 cutscenes and collecting orbs for 45 minutes! I didn't mind what it was so much, it annoyed me more that THAT was all it was, and it really didn't need to last for as long as it did. Because most live events are 10-15 minutes you were just there waiting for something else to happen when it never did. And because of how the live event worked, nothing happened before you, YOU had to make it happen, it felt like you were responsible for the live event working which just wasn't great. The only event worse than this imo was remix the prelude. I applaud epic for syncing times square with the game, that was very clever, but in-game hardly anything happened compared to most live events. I'm hoping the concert at the end of the month will be more interactive game-wise, the big bang was better than fracture because there was more going on but in reality it was just one big cutscene.

Season 2 was my favorite, movement was MASSIVELY improved, tanks were so fun with full squads, the airships were fun to land on, and the map wasnt covered in neon spraypaint and chrome yet

Chapter 3 was my least played chapter. I played a lot of season 1 and then only played a game or two for the other seasons so I can’t say that it’s my favorite chapter.

For me it’s vibin the memories I made hit so hard it was my last year in middle school and I had to say goodbye to my friends and we coped but running this shit in the summer it was so fun bro

This has to be the last of good innovation here, 1 year chapters are way too short for the Lore Fans, and I just wanna enjoy the Map for 2 years before we gotta move on.

Chapter 5 Season 4 was way worse than Season 3.

Chapter 3 Season 1: Best chapter start, period. As a tryhard who competed in fncs qualifiers that season (last season my internet was good until it gave out in season 2), this was easily one of the best season's in some time, especially considering fortnite had issues from chapter 2 season 5-8. The game introducing sliding, which is a massive love i have for chapter 3, constantly introducing new movement. The map was amazing, alot of the locations like Coney Crossroads, The Sanctuary, Sleepy Sounds, (the Return of Tilted was so hyped, for obvious reasons), Greasy Grove's return, The Daily Bulge, the return of Shifty Shafts, but redesigned for Chapter 3's environment, instead of a carbon copy and Condo Canyon were amazing, each other felt like they were unqiue and special unlike some other chapter... aghem chapter 5. Battlepass: The only skins you all probably remember are Spiderman and The Foundation. Rest of the pass was a write off. The Lootpool was choppy, as a controller player i was so happy this season finally gave controller players some weapons to work with, but on the other hand i had issues, but they were few and far between. The guns: MK 7 (Peak), Stringer SMG (broken), striker pump (Get good at the game if you say it's bad, genuinely one of the best shotguns for clipping), the hunter bolt action was pretty dookie, and the rest of the guns were eh. Spiderman Rotation is the best rotation item, it should be a permanent addition. The heals: Medmist (Top 10 heal of all time), Guzzle juice (actually useful but you had to time it right, most forgot about it so eh and the changed pizza pit, so pizza was better towards shield. Honourable mentions: Stacked Winterfest, amazing lore, things like tents (random stuff) good build up to next season, Klombo, Gunnar Mythic smg and the Foundation MK were nuts. Overall: 9.2 / 10 only issues were the spray meta but it wasnt that bad 9/10 Chapter 3 Season 2: Map changes: I liked the blimps as they were a fun way to play, the new io vs seven controlled and themed areas were cool, especially with the battles to capture the locations each week, the only complaint i have is how little damage the map received, like there is a full scale conflict going on and there is almost no damage, what gives? The battlepass was a nothing burger, only cared about Dr Strange and Gunnar, maybe prowler but thats it. The Meta: Still godly for controller players, this was the last season my internet was good until about half way through, perfect timing with zero build from epic, the drum shotgun was my only major complaint since the skillless weapons (reaper sniper, gatekeepr shotgun, rpg, minigun) aren't my style. Overall, there were quite a few positives, including the revamped movements and of course zero build. This season was groundbreaking with the last good live event ever. Easy 8.1 to 8.6/10 depending on how i feel. Chapter 3 Season 3: Map changes: Still really good i was probably one of the only players which liked the destruction of greasy, along with the reality tree infecting different locatiobns for a new gameplay experince at these locations each match, especially with how it spread week by week. (Camp cuddle deserved it's death, that spot sucked) The summer event sucked, i'll get that out of the way. Dragon Ball collab was awesome, watching people get cooked for everything because they thought they were that guy trying to beam me. (Nimbus clouds are top 10 rotation) Meta: Hot take, the hammer ar is genuinely one of the best ar's period, the prime shotgun was insane in zero builds. Other than that the meta still had issues with the two shit shotgun, and the doo doo cheeks weapons. I will admit, the reality saplings (especially when they were mythic), were broken. Basically multiple mythics and cap shields off spawn, i liked the idea but epic really screwed it. Battlepass: Really just Indiana Jones and Darth Vader, pass still sucked other than evie. Overall: 4.8/10 i believe the season gets too much flak, but alot of the criticisms are completely correct and justified. I'd take this over primal and wrecked. Chapter 3 Season 4: The map changes were still actually good, i enjoy watching the map slowly be swallowed by this mass of chrome. The locations being lifted changed the way you approached the location and how you fought in it, even adding heavy rotation. The monotoned contrast to the usual vibrant colours solidifed how screwed we were. The chrome based mechanics were fun (wall phasing and blobs), they were fun in zero build for outplaying people. The floating vaults were a very good feature for rotation and fat loot. The Fortnitemares event sucked to the point it was a joke, only the changes at grim gables i found to be good. Like there werent even halloween decorations anywhere on the map. Weapon meta: Hot take, the chrome ar was BUSTED if you didnt suck at aiming. Its dps was so high in it's mythic form and even gold form that you couldnt outsoak someone with it, the shotgun sucked though. The shotguns were less than stellar for most players, evo chrome sucked, the lever is the lever and the prime is actually a good shotgun, it's just most players aren't good enough to use it well. Battlepass: Straight doo doo aside from paradigm (debatable even then) and Spider Gwen. Total season score: 6.8/10, it wasnt terrible aside from the event.

For me, Chapter 1- season 7 was when I started and never really played much Chapter 2- season 2 imo the best season in Fortnite of all time (that I’ve played) you had Travis Scott, very good battlepass, the only real complaint I have with this season was how long it was. Chapter 3- season 1, I honestly didn’t really like much of chapter 3, but the best of all the seasons was season 1. Chapter 4- (unpopular opinion) season 2. I enjoyed it more than season 4, was because of all the cool things they added like Spider-Man back, ODM gear, and the guns and stuff we’re really cool in my opinion. Chapter 5- season 1. I enjoyed it more then all the other seasons because the rest of the seasons in. Chapter five (other than season 2) all kind of just sucked in general and were unplayable.

You'll never see me adopt a pro's mindset because all it took this guy to tank season 1's rating was bad shotguns and good spray weapons. I barely remember it affecting my enjoyment.

Chapter 3 season 1 is a top 5 season all time, it came out at the perfect time around Christmas so everyone was playing, the guns were good except for the shotguns I don’t know why they were so weak, spideys mythics were the best overall just a great season and fun especially around Christmas time too

Gotta be season 1. The launch was perfect unlike any other chapter we’ve seen. Loved the battlepass, weapons, my boy Klombo, and especially the map. Like I could talk for HOURS about how good it was. Sure the meta wasn’t perfect but it was a new era for Fortnite. (s2 was also amazing it brought sprinting and zero build)
