There's nothing I enjoy doing more over the years than going to an intimate cocktail lounge , with a cozy decor and the correct dimmed lighting , late at night and sit there with my husband listening to an evening of delightful piano playing done by someone who really knows what they're doing, playing standards and tune after tune of my favorites. That, to us , is an evening well spent! Of course , the correct number of delicious cocktails imbibed is de rigour!

It's so gratifying to watch a master at work. What a beautiful sound is brought forth from that instrument! As a (slightly jaded) professional musician, it was wonderful to listen to a performance which could pleasantly surprise me so constantly - so much musical imagination!

I was in 10th grade & got this 12" single for Christmas. If I had to lip synch it tonight, I wouldn't miss a breath. That's how much I loved this song and still do. Thank you for this video. I never knew what became of Karen Young after 1979. I'm very sorry she passed so young, but wonderful to see that she was still in perfect voice & performing to the end!

I rode the school bus with Karen in the early 70s. One of the co-writers, Kurt B. Was a terrific dj for years at DCA in Philly. Both are missed 🏝

One of the Best songs to come out of the Disco era. Whenever I'm in a club and this song comes on, the dance floor fills up immediately. This song use to sound so amazing at the Paradise Garage in NYC. That club had the best sound system ever. It was incredible. Love Me some Hot Shot Always!!!!

😊😊 memories, I remember when I first heard this song at a house party. And the break climax in the middle, was really what got the crowd jumping. Then to go to various disco clubs in New York City, Bentleys, Justine's, Bond international, the collie Barn,.
