Flying an S211 fighter Jet over Melbourne
Stephen Gale of jetworksaviation.com.au asked if i would like to go in his Marchetti S211 while he practiced some aerobatics for an air show next year. He told me it wouldn't be very comfortable. Both wearing out Bremont Martin-Baker watches and sitting in Mk19 Martin-Baker Ejection seats, we experienced up to 4G and i even got to fly it for several minutes myself! Truely the most insane thing i have ever experienced. Thank you Steve

As I have had my lisence suspended for a few months, a trip back home to the UK saw me getting my motorcycle fix with one of my oldest frinds Benjarmin. Thanks Ben for a sweet ride around my old stomping ground! We went through Broadstairs, Margate, Minster and Ramsgate on a spectacular summers day in August.
Losing my Driving Licence - Victoria Australia

Caught going 118 km/ph in a 80km/ph zone, thats 73mph in a 50mph zone. Australia remains a laughing stock to the rest of the world with its speed limits, it's roads arent any safer and the police force are the literal definition of a Mafia. Modern day police work at its finest.

    It's all about revenue, especially as the Vic. gov. has the state in a (circa) 200 billion dollar hole. And, instead of manning up like adults to admit they've stuffed everything, they punish the rest of us for their misappropriating of our taxes to endlessly try to cover up their buffoonery and we pay twice... and more!

    There are all sorts of reasons for the speed limits on specific stretches of road. Mostly they make sense. Sometimes they're a bit annoying if you're in a hurry, but the simple fact is that they exist for the sake of safety. The fatality rate on Australian roads currently stands at aprox. 4.8 deaths per 100,000 people; in America the rate is 12.8 per 100,000. So I'm inclined to think that we're probably doing something right. Just observe the speed limit, and don't complain if you get booked for exceeding it.

  • @cailean59

    dude, you were speeding, dont go and blame the police for doing their job when you know you were in the wrong, you done the crime, so you suffer the consequences, just be glad they pulled you over instead of letting you travel at a dangerous speed that results in an accident. This doesnt just apply to Australia, so suck it in buttercup and learn from it

    After watching this video I then had a read of the comments, as you do. My first response was "well you knew it was an 80 zone, but chose to do 118". That was followed by "suck it up, sunshine". I don't know that road, and as I'm not a traffic engineer can't comment on whether 80 is too slow or not. A lot of commenters seem to have little idea of speed limits in other countries. German Autobahns with their 130 speed limits sound great, but remember Germans are actually taught to drive properly. Here we just have basic lessons and basic tests, and getting a licence in Germany is about 3 times the cost here. Of probably a dozen fatal motorcycle crashes I've been to, all but two could have been avoided if the motorcyclists rode better. They might not have caused the crash but didn't have the ability to avoid it.

  • @yoloyoller
    @yoloyoller 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Mate, that would've been an EASY ticket to challenge. As you were approaching the cops, the road you were going around was curving to the right. The Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984 (Vic), section 43 says: "In the measurement of a distance for the purposes of an Act or subordinate instrument, the distance shall, unless the contrary intention appears, be measured in a STRAIGHT line on a horizontal plane." They wouldn't have got your radar reading on a straight line which would breach this section of law and invalidate their ticket. Also, you could read the operator manual of the equipment they used and find inconsistencies in their operation. It's THEIR job to prove you guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Never incriminate yourself.

    • @Jonesy1701
      @Jonesy1701 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That definition applies to distances, not speed. Operator manuals aren't legislative, so saying your ticket is false because of some companies drafting practice is bogus. And finally, they don't need to prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt. Speeding isn't a criminal offence, it's civil.

I figured a solipsistic whinger like this would be a habitual speeder, and unsurprisingly they've uploaded footage driving 119km/h in a 60km/h zone: th-cam.com/video/kVdNYQLR_AE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dSE0QOnWIBaMLZ4x&t=774 $682 fine and a 6 month suspension is too lenient for idiots like this.

    Being from the UK it's amazing how similar our police and punishments are; the cop's attitude and way of dealing with it is identical to our traffic cops! We also get milked for pennies for speeding too, having one of the lowest national speed limits in Europe (~110kmh) it's so easy to speed on motorways and main roads.. where there's always a mobile speed camera hiding!

      His safety? Meanwhile, on the Autobahn in Germany, there are lanes without speed limits, yet they don’t experience higher safety concerns or more accidents.
