Gave my grandma a DS for Christmas & a few months later she died in a tornado. Found the DS. Had a few scratches. Turned it on to still be mostly charged. Still have it today.

yeah, the MKDS credits definitely always made me feel sad. as a kid i got it and felt so upset, like it was wrong to play after i got to that point. i'd try avoid it as much as possible. even now it makes me a little sad but that's also down to nostalgia very much enjoyed the video, practically rejoiced upon the mention of pokemon conquest

Couldn't get into Nintendo handhelds until the GBA came out because I needed better graphics and 8-bit consoles and handhelds weren't doing it for me. GBA was good but the lack of a backlit screen made it a pain to play its games until I got a DS. The DS and future handhelds have been awesome with such a robust selection of games.

another thing you could include was the nintendo anime channel released in europe in 2015 for the 3ds. it was a neat little service from nintendo allowing us to watch episodes from pokémon anime and kirby, stuff like that

@9:25 You can also access Nintendo Zone from home by remaining your network SSID to a compatible name. I forgot what name though. Also Nintendo DS voice chat didn't require the headset. You could use headphones and the mic on the DS with any voice chat supported games.

The 3DS is like the most durable thing known to man. My friend has had his for nearly 8 years, and it’s still going strong. He’s been using it regularly the entire time, and has done all manner of things to it. It’s a trooper.

You haven't even mentioned Kanji Sonomama DS Rakubiki Jiten? This is _far_ from the ultimate DS/3DS iceberg. Essentially, Rakubiki has an enhanced PictoChat mode, as well as a UI heavily inspired by the DS's BIOS. This is the only official way to use PictoChat on the 3DS.

Minecraft DS is actually a fanmade version of Minecraft that was made to run on the ds! the official mincraft version can only be run on the New Nintendo 3DS
