So, the "bye-bye" thing is actually in new super mario bros. as well, along with a few of the transformers games I want to say, when you close and open the lid it will make the "transformers noise" the sfx that is played when they change from robot to vehicle and vis versa. The 3DS is like the most durable thing known to man. My friend has had his for nearly 8 years, and it’s still going strong. He’s been using it regularly the entire time, and has done all manner of things to it. It’s a trooper.

Minecraft DS is actually a fanmade version of Minecraft that was made to run on the ds! the official mincraft version can only be run on the New Nintendo 3DS

8:23 Since nobody else has said it I will. I enjoyed going through the Temple of the Ocean King multiple times. I speedran it trying to get the timer as close to 0 when I got to the end by using all the shortcuts and extra time pots. I even found a couple unintended shortcuts all on my own while experimenting. This was LONG before I even knew what speedrunning was too

I'm sure someone probably already said this but you don't actually need to complete NSMB to play as Luigi. I'm pretty sure people only believe that because it's required on NSMB2 and because you're told how to play as him at the end of NSMB.

My DS lite and 3DS could survive a nuclear fallout I swear to god. My DS Lite once got sprayed by the hose because i left it out on the porch as a kid (I was a stupid 8 year old). And that thing still works like a charm 15 years later 😂

For those curious about 43:00 here's the super TLDR: It was the first attempt at a very NSFW work made by a (in)famous group who attended Comiket 75 to be played on a DS. Because it had to use an R4 card, which they were selling in tandem with the game on an SD card, it broke the rules of the convention (that of reselling commercial goods, the R4). They were kicked out, the project was shuddered and the project is classified as lost media. Really, that's all you need to know.
