I’ve been to two Walmarts to get that yarn for my snakes. Going to try a third today. 😢. You should check out Windy Hill crochet’s snake. Although it’s HDC for the length of it, the head is a different, like a cobra. Something neat to mix it up. I make both kinds. Your son is adorable.

Girl, I am watching all of your lives while I am caking all of my yarn with my new caker! Yay! So satisfying. My yarn is taking over my house lol I feel like we’re besties already ha ha. I’m fairly new to crochet, but I am totally addicted. I also have done nails, I’ve done wax melts, I’ve done Jewelry, painted rocks. But I am really loving this crochet. I’m thankful for these channels because no one in my real life crochets

I'm not sure if people know but even though you don't collect sales tax on cash, you still have to pay taxes on the cash you collect. I'm not sure in Nebraska but in sorry dakota you have to have a sales tax license. So I pay state sales tax and at the end of the year you do federal taxes. In the federal taxes you can claim your gas, food, all supplies you purchase and use, all your patterns, and booth fees.

Ick, I'm so glad I'm old and only have to deal with arthritis and old age things 😂🤣😅 I feel the pain and this is why you have kids young so you can survive all the things. But seriously you did so great on your setup and doing that long drive sick. I used to carry around a big zip-tie bag in my handbag just in case I heard those frightening words "I'm gonna be sick" 🤢🤮😭

We have sooo many health and safety tests to go through in the uk for each plushie you want to sell you have to get certificates for the yarn safety and set fire to each different style of plushie, and lots of other tests too, before you are allowed to sell them

My last market had 6 crocheter vendors with plushies. It was oversaturated but luckily i still did well. It made me so nervous though.

I have never sold a single snake 😅 I stuff mine with polyfill though, thinking I might need to rip the stuffing out so they bend easier 😂

Kids love snakes but their parents are stopping them from buying by saying no or distracting them to another stall. I'm starting to think it's an Aussie thing because they don't want to encourage snake play because of our poisonous snakes here. Anyway, you've convinced me to make the velvet snakes and see how we go with those but what is your price point on the 30-inch snakes (thanks for mentioning the length) I always look forward to your market videos and leading up to the best part of the year for markets will be amazing. I have so many markets booked on my calendar that I'm hoping I can cope with the inventory that is needed. My relaxation during prep will be watching youtube videos of everyone else's markets.
