Why don't these guys just pull out their wallet and place it on the dash before they are even stopped? I can't think of a single time I didn't have my wallet on the dash in front of me and both hands on top of the steering wheel with all of my fingers showing as the cop walked up to my vehicle. I teach my kids to do this as well. They never even learned how to handle getting pulled over in drivers ed. This guy didn't do anything wrong but he still could have done better IMO. For example, why does he have his hand and arm down against the side of his leg as the cop came up? He could have had his black wallet in that hand and got shot over it as he brought his arm up by some nervous cop.

Seriously, these days telling them that is self incrimination that opens multiple cans of worms, if he asks you out of the vehicle then it’s time to advise the weapon. I don’t know why all these videos are like this but I’m not going to let the officer know I’m carrying for a parking ticket…NOT NECESSARY if they ask me ok, if I know it’s come to the point I have to get out of the vehicle, ok there is a time when it is necessary and Tim when it is not chill fool😅

I have a CC and the only time I was pulled over for speeding I gave cop my DL,my insurance card, and my CC permit before she even asked for my information. She said thank you. All was good after that and she let me go wit just a warning

You should already have DL and insurance at the ready by the time they get to the window. Unless you're legally supposed to to inform them in your state I do not recommend even telling them unless they ask or ask you to step out.Telling them just puts them on edge for legit no reason better they are oblivious for most general traffic stops.

I’ve been carrying since 2012. I’ve been pulled over for speeding about 6 times, TN, GA and SC. I carry every day to the point where I don’t feel it or remember. Not once have I brought it up, zero issues I have a friend who makes a big deal of it, “sir my hands are on the steering wheel and they will remain there until you tell me otherwise”. That’s pretty corny, it’s my right, I’ll carry and I’m not gonna say 1 word

The best way for me is to have my license, insurance ready and also give them my CCW permit then tell them where you have it. Also don’t be speeding if you have a weapon on you lol

This could have been done better. Do not use the GUN word. Have your license and permit out when the officer arrives at the window and you with both hands on the wheel. Diggin in your packets for anything can be dangerous. "Officer, here is my license and CCW permit" he will ask if you have your permitted weapon on you and you affirm and tell him where it is. Do not keep your firearm anywhere near your registration. Do not tell the officer the gun is in the center console on top of the registration, unless you are looking to be shot.

You should have both your licenses in your hands before the officer leaves his car and have it in your left hand with both hands on the wheel

Shouldn’t have to say anything. They should assume everyone is armed. “Shall not be infringed” - A permit to carry is an infringement.

Where I live, the law enforcement know the moment the call in a license plate if the registered owner has a cwp. I had one deputy that was shocked to find I was carrying 2 weapons a 9 iwb and a 45 in my left front pocket. It was in Florida and I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. When he asked why I carried 2 firearms, I simply asked him why he does. Nuff Said

LOL, this stop wasn't that great either. You should already have your license, registration, and proof of insurance already in your hand by the time the police get up to the vehicle, then you don't have to reach anywhere near that gun to get any of it. Also depends what state you're in because if it's just for speeding and nothing that requires you to step out of the vehicle then you don't really have to tell them you are armed. In my state you can conceal carry with or without a permit And from my understanding you only have to tell them you are carrying if you don't have a permit.

I told an officer I had mine on me just like he did and I got a ticket for “failure to tell the officer I had a gun”

I've never been in a state that requires you to tell the officers you are armed. I'm pretty sure that violates multiple Amendments.

In NC you inform the PO that you have a concealed carry permit; then you inform him that / if you are carrying a weapon. 😐

Correct way to do this. "I invoke my fifth amendment right." You do not speak further. They are not your friend. You think it's courtesy to tell them youre armed, but its your right to be - now you are a threat to them and will take you out for sneezing

Crazy how different the pull-over protocols are in different countries. In USA it seems like you have to show a bible worth of documents. In Finland, they don't even say hello before shoving a breathalyzer in your mouth and then maybe just ask for a driver's license.

I don't have a concealed carry permit....but I wouldn't lead with "I'm armed". Seems to make more sense to say you have a CCL first and then follow up.
