Why don't these guys just pull out their wallet and place it on the dash before they are even stopped? I can't think of a single time I didn't have my wallet on the dash in front of me and both hands on top of the steering wheel with all of my fingers showing as the cop walked up to my vehicle. I teach my kids to do this as well. They never even learned how to handle getting pulled over in drivers ed. This guy didn't do anything wrong but he still could have done better IMO. For example, why does he have his hand and arm down against the side of his leg as the cop came up? He could have had his black wallet in that hand and got shot over it as he brought his arm up by some nervous cop.
Seriously, these days telling them that is self incrimination that opens multiple cans of worms, if he asks you out of the vehicle then it’s time to advise the weapon. I don’t know why all these videos are like this but I’m not going to let the officer know I’m carrying for a parking ticket…NOT NECESSARY if they ask me ok, if I know it’s come to the point I have to get out of the vehicle, ok there is a time when it is necessary and Tim when it is not chill fool😅
I have a CC and the only time I was pulled over for speeding I gave cop my DL,my insurance card, and my CC permit before she even asked for my information. She said thank you. All was good after that and she let me go wit just a warning
You should already have DL and insurance at the ready by the time they get to the window. Unless you're legally supposed to to inform them in your state I do not recommend even telling them unless they ask or ask you to step out.Telling them just puts them on edge for legit no reason better they are oblivious for most general traffic stops.
Dumb af for having ur wallet where u have ur gun, smh. Who rides around with their edc at the 6 o clock position, while driving 😂. Weird in so many ways
I’ve been carrying since 2012. I’ve been pulled over for speeding about 6 times, TN, GA and SC. I carry every day to the point where I don’t feel it or remember. Not once have I brought it up, zero issues I have a friend who makes a big deal of it, “sir my hands are on the steering wheel and they will remain there until you tell me otherwise”. That’s pretty corny, it’s my right, I’ll carry and I’m not gonna say 1 word
The best way for me is to have my license, insurance ready and also give them my CCW permit then tell them where you have it. Also don’t be speeding if you have a weapon on you lol
@allthecommonsense. I just watched it also, get your papers, dont grab your gun, umm where does everybody carry their wallet? That was a set up if i ever saw one.
This could have been done better. Do not use the GUN word. Have your license and permit out when the officer arrives at the window and you with both hands on the wheel. Diggin in your packets for anything can be dangerous. "Officer, here is my license and CCW permit" he will ask if you have your permitted weapon on you and you affirm and tell him where it is. Do not keep your firearm anywhere near your registration. Do not tell the officer the gun is in the center console on top of the registration, unless you are looking to be shot.
I never tell these emotional unstable soy boys im armed. If you dont let them see it and dont give them a reason to search your car or you, theyll never catch you.
Where I live, the law enforcement know the moment the call in a license plate if the registered owner has a cwp. I had one deputy that was shocked to find I was carrying 2 weapons a 9 iwb and a 45 in my left front pocket. It was in Florida and I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. When he asked why I carried 2 firearms, I simply asked him why he does. Nuff Said
Meanwhile here in the UK, we are not stupid, paranoid and feel the need to pointlessly carry loaded guns with us everywhere we go. Glad I don't live in the USA.
I'll bet in '39 onward you guys were singing 'praise Jesus' the Americans are armed and carrying weapons and were willing to save you from a powerful hostile army 26 miles from your coast. Didn't hear any crapahooie from the British then. We arrived with so much protection for you, we almost sank your tiny island. PS : We still remember what you did to our White House.
LOL, this stop wasn't that great either. You should already have your license, registration, and proof of insurance already in your hand by the time the police get up to the vehicle, then you don't have to reach anywhere near that gun to get any of it. Also depends what state you're in because if it's just for speeding and nothing that requires you to step out of the vehicle then you don't really have to tell them you are armed. In my state you can conceal carry with or without a permit And from my understanding you only have to tell them you are carrying if you don't have a permit.
Watch the officer’s hand slide down to his sidearm while the driver reaches for his wallet, then his hand slides right back to its original position when the officer sees the wallet produced.
This is so stupid and unnecessary. I’ve been carrying for over 15 years and there is NO reason to introduce a firearm into the equation here. It’s a traffic stop, nothing more. Dudes who post this shit and make these videos just want attention.
Correct way to do this. "I invoke my fifth amendment right." You do not speak further. They are not your friend. You think it's courtesy to tell them youre armed, but its your right to be - now you are a threat to them and will take you out for sneezing
I've got a gun should probably never be the first words out of your mouth bro. perhaps start with I have a permit to conceal carry then identify u are carrying. (This in no way should be misconstrued as advice legal or any other type of guidance).
I really dislike the "Where are you coming from?" question because it is the door they are trying to open in order to proceed with a DUI interrogation.
Been in the force for a decade. You don’t need to disclose your CCW but I do appreciate when you tell us. The fact that you told us already shows a lot about your honest character. I usually let people go in that scenario. Your results may vary!
Crazy how different the pull-over protocols are in different countries. In USA it seems like you have to show a bible worth of documents. In Finland, they don't even say hello before shoving a breathalyzer in your mouth and then maybe just ask for a driver's license.
I don't have a concealed carry permit....but I wouldn't lead with "I'm armed". Seems to make more sense to say you have a CCL first and then follow up.

This is how easy things are of you co-operate.
Concealed carry permit is a direct violation of the second amendment of the US Constitution/BoR.
Lmao imagine carrying concealed at 6 o clock. This guy is a fucking idiot.

True definition of being transparent, compliant and respect for the law.

Here in Indiana we do not have to tell the police we are carrying
Dumb af for having ur wallet where u have ur gun, smh. Who rides around with their edc at the 6 o clock position, while driving 😂. Weird in so many ways
You don’t actually have to tell them unless they ask btw
I’ve been carrying since 2012. I’ve been pulled over for speeding about 6 times, TN, GA and SC. I carry every day to the point where I don’t feel it or remember. idk how you sit in a car with a gun against your lower back, and a wallet on one asscheek. that sounds insanely uncomfortable.

You should have both your licenses in your hands before the officer leaves his car and have it in your left hand with both hands on the wheel
Shouldn’t have to say anything. They should assume everyone is armed. “Shall not be infringed” - A permit to carry is an infringement.
I never tell these emotional unstable soy boys im armed. If you dont let them see it and dont give them a reason to search your car or you, theyll never catch you.

If the officer doesn’t ask, you don’t tell.

He should have told him first thing he was armed that’s the law in Ohio
Not anymore
@ didn’t know they changed it what is it now
@@JeffNewton-s9p when we went to constitutional carry.
@ ok I don’t know what you’re talking about I’ll have to ask my sheriff friend what is legal
@@JeffNewton-s9p no problem. I just spent last Saturday talking to 2 Washington County Ohio Sheriff's.
I told an officer I had mine on me just like he did and I got a ticket for “failure to tell the officer I had a gun”
the pain of having 8 teeth removed at once must be unimaginable...
I've never been in a state that requires you to tell the officers you are armed. I'm pretty sure that violates multiple Amendments.
In NC you inform the PO that you have a concealed carry permit; then you inform him that / if you are carrying a weapon. 😐
Watch the officer’s hand slide down to his sidearm while the driver reaches for his wallet, then his hand slides right back to its original position when the officer sees the wallet produced.
Well done brother.

I never divulge any information to cops without being asked first. Those unhinged, unstable bastards are not to be trusted .
I really dislike the "Where are you coming from?" question because it is the door they are trying to open in order to proceed with a DUI interrogation.
kinda sad and fluck up that to be safe you have to make sure to tell the cops where is your wallet and if you can reach for it 😕

Why does this need to be posted 🥱
Never disclose your gun or ccw unless they ask you if you have any weapons. SMH DOOFUS

LOL simple just don't tell them
What a miserable way of living.. cop was holding his gun the entire time and you feel the tension there.. one bad move and the guy is dead
i love cops like that bro
