DIY Origami Christmas Nativity- The Three Kings
มุมมอง 44K6 ปีที่แล้ว
This origami model of the Three Kings was developed to accompany Leyla Torres' nativity models of Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus. It can be made in three heights so each king is slightly different. The rest of the nativity was built using the instructions at the links below. This model requires a 25 cm x 25 cm (9 7/8 in x 9 7/8 in) piece of paper. To make the face and the hands gold on my models I...

How often should we use the mattress cleaner on our mattresses?
Great question! I'm so sorry I didn't see it sooner! On the bottle, in the directions, it recommends you treat your mattress once a month for an optimal clean.
Can I use it on my bedskirt and electric underpad? My mattress has a dust mite cover on it.
If the bedskirt is made of cotton, polyester, canvas or rayon (and is color fast) this product is safe. This product is not safe for silk, leather, velvet, chiffon, mohair or wool. As far as the underpad, you will need to check the manufacturer's instructions to determine if using a liquid spray is safe or if it will ruin the underpad. If the underpad has foam or has silk, leather, velvet, chiffon, mohair or wool, don't use this product. For both items, if you are uncertain if this spray will ruin them but are willing to risk trying the product, I would test the product in an inconspicuous place before treating the whole item. Hope this helps!
I forgot to mention you should also check the manufacturer instructions to make certain using a liquid spray on the underpad will not pose a safety hazard.
Hola me llamo Ampi y me encanta lo que haces. Como hacer el soporte? Puedes explicarlo. Muchas gracias
Thank you so much! I don't speak Spanish, so I hope I have understood your question correctly. I just put your comment in Google Translate, but the translation that came back wasn't very clear. I think you are asking how to make the base for the model. I explain how to make the base support at 16:43 in the video. You will need to cut a square out of heavier weight paper. Fold the square twice, each time matching opposite corners, forming a diagonal crease. These two folds will form 4 triangles. Cut out one triangle and bring the cut edges together. This is the base. You will need to glue or tape it into the origami model with the matched, cut edges placed in the center front fold of the origami model. The way to determine the length of each side of the square is at 16:47 in the video. I hope this helps! Sorry if I miss-understood your question.
Itslicious Thank you.

Thank you!
you have a very good tutorial, precise and clear.
Thank you so much! I'm delighted it worked for you!
Thanks so much! It's epiphany Sunday today. And I'm in Zambia and wanted to make something in origami form to represent the day. This is simple but looks great. I'm happy
I'm so glad! =)
Hey !Thank you so much for an amazing vedio....☺️☺️👍
You're welcome!
HELP>>>I have made all 3 and all came out same size...did you use different size square for each? I am working on making the whole creche, including palm tree. Having trouble getting graduated sizes for kings. They come out perfectly except for the sizes. Thank you for your concise instructions.
Oh, my goodness! I just barely saw your question! I'm so sorry! All three kings are made from the same size of paper, but are folded to a slightly different place in one of the steps. Starting at 1:44 in the video I show you how to make the pinch marks for the different heights of the kings. I labeled them on the paper. If you are making the short king, you will make the fold shown at 3:13 in the video to pinch mark #3 (meaning the corner of the paper will touch pinch mark #3, which has the arrow pointing toward it in the video and is labeled "SHORT"), instead of to pinch mark #5. If you are making the middle king, you will make the fold shown at 3:13 in the video to pinch mark #4 (meaning the corner of the paper will touch pinch mark #4, which has the arrow pointing toward it in the video and is labeled "MIDDLE"), instead of to pinch mark #5. If you are making the tall king, use pinch mark #5, as shown in the video. The explanation in the video is between 3:13 and 3:24, in case you want to watch it there. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for sharing! I'm up in Alaska and a lot of our Christmas decorations broke in the recent earthquake. Now I am trying to make some replacements that won't break if we continue to experience aftershocks. This is perfect!
I'm so sorry to hear about the damage but am glad this tutorial will help you to rebuild. The exact folds needed to form this model came into my mind at a particularly difficult time in my life and came in such a way that I was acutely aware that God is aware of me. Now whenever I see the model I am buoyed up as it reminds me of His love. I hope the model is a similar comfort to you and that your finished product is as beautiful as you imagine! God bless!
I love this! Thank you! I'm making Leyla's set right now, and I was kind of bummed that it didn't have shepherds and wise men. And finding yours in the same style is so great! I also love how you did them in white with gold as the skin. It's making me re-think my color choices. I've only finished Mary, so now would be the time to switch. Anyway, THANK YOU!!! :D :D :D
My pleasure! I'm delighted you like it! It's so nice to get your feedback! I have actually made the whole set about 7 times now and have had such a positive response from each person I have gifted it to that I figured I would share. I'm so glad you can enjoy making it as well! :D
i need to say the very same words!
Thank you so much! =)
Great...thank you so much to make it so easy to understand. No need to buy the expensive tool any more!
My pleasure! Glad it helped you!
