We all need more Rubies in our life! The kids are what my generation called "spoilt"..... you have two parents working full time responsible jobs and still have time to do nonsense like ask you what you want for dinner? When I was growing up and my mum was working, she would leave a list of stuff for me to do after school.....cleaning chores, prep veg etc and do my homework before she got home. God have mercy if you heard the key in the door and you hadn't done them! I was grateful that she raised me to take responsibility early on.....not expect my parents to work hard all day outside and then come home and wait on me.....we all chipped in and everyone helped with everything. Same with my younger brother too...soon as he was okd enough, he had his cleaning and cooking list too. My mum was PC before it was a term😁
