Good video! I'm glad you critiqued Senku's views too in the show, as they often left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth even if I do broadly agree with science and humanism and even transhumanism. The part that most clearly did this for me was at the start of the New World arc, where they kept making parallels to the real life "Era of Exploration" and discovery of the "New World" so uncritically, I was sitting there like "nooooo Senku colonialism was bad stoooop" lol

If a gin comes to me and gives me 3 wishes mannnn I'm sure 1 of them would be about gintama, i just love gintama, the greatest thing i have watched or will watch it would always sit like a king on the top.

Saiki k s1 dub is THE BEST! but reawakened does it poorly. SAIKI was my first anime!

This is a show that, in my opinion, cannot be watched as a sub. If you don't understand japanese, it really has to be watched as a dub. The overtalk of all the characters just doesn't come across the same if you have to read all the lines. And the overtalk is what makes the show somewhat unique and quite hilarious.

It is the perfect anime... It is kinda sad that some people made a guide to watch only the serious arcs... You gotta enjoy Gintama as a whole, the characters, the history, the funny moments, the social critic, etc .... Everything is important. My favorite anime.

wtf you mean "regression" "YOU CAN'T GIVE UP" is iconic (deserves to be) and is a statement of her own personal growth on a level even beyond Domon at episode 49 who is literally about to propose and NEEDs that kind of powerful affirmation to motivate himself.

It's just unbeatable, and It's infuriating how underrated it is.

You had me speechless and very hooked through the whole video without even have noticed, bro. And so glad how good you got deep into the "Real Meaning of Love" in Toradora. There's actually no a real answer in general, 'cause this topic has a whole different point of view for each person; but the only True in it, it's... That the Love is Complex and Unfair by itself, but that doesn't mean that someone can achive a Lovely and Healthy Relationship with another one. Nothing related about being with someone is easy at all, but even with all the darkest and toughest moments you could been gettin' through with him/her... As long as there's still that mutual back up feeling for each other, there's would always still a way to accomplish every single issue of your life with him/her. That's why I'm still in Love with Toradora, man. Yep! This the only Anime that I really give a damn anymore with some of the Destructive Reviews this had. The Growing Up on the Relationship between that Taiga and Ryuuji has o each other is Flawless for me. Once you spend you care and time with that person, even knowing and been showed how much you needed all this time for each other... There would be others left 'em behind, even their own happiness. It's still harder to accomplish it, but we don't necesarilly need to feel bad at all. But yeah! It's a Reality. Love your Video, Man!! I'm not the one that truly understands this whole thing too, but at least I' me glad of being helpful with some Girl of My Class this last days (even knowin' me how I used to be)

I love the Nobel Gundam from G Gundam because that female gundam reminds me of Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon. Another mobile suit that I like is Bearguy 3 who is a giant, yellow bear with a bow on it's back and it is able to express different emotions. However Bearguy 3 is from a different Gundam franchise but still it's super cute!

Gintama is a straight up masterpiece. It is hilarious and also filled with action. I enjoy the manga in shonen jump as well. It's just that good. It's definitely in my top 5 anime.

Gintama saved my life when I was a teen, and it will always be my #1. It's what inspired me to pursue a career in writing. It is genuinely one of the best written animes I have ever watched/read. I got into it back in 2008 before even Nuxtaku started raving about it. It's the only anime that I have watched 8 times front to back, and also inspired my author pseudonym "Silver Story Author". And I am so glad that so many more people are starting to see the brilliance that is Gintama. Awesome video and I look forward to what you release next.

I think Teruhashi has to be my favorite character. It may be because I don’t watch much comedy-centric anime, but her character type was so new and interesting to me and I loved the contrast between her sweet persona and rotten inner thoughts. All of her antics were hilarious and I think it’s cool how she’s the antithesis of Saiki - she uses her skills to get attention from everyone and freaks out when she can’t get it while he uses his skills to avoid attention and freaks out when someone tries to interact with him. She’s the perfect antagonist

the beauty of gintama is that every character has a real life story behind, they have their unique personalities, backstory, challenges and development which are comparable in real life. the show also dont have fancy attack names but they are really strong and have their own fighting style in and out of battle. also the breaking of 4th wall really adds the feel to the audience being connected or presented in the show itself. most anime fans nowadays only based and ranks their favorite according to the animation quality and faces of the husbandos and waifus, mostly disregarding the quality of plot, character characteristics and feelings. also they got hyped easily to join bandwagons and just try to fit in easily. can’t blame them but hopefully more anime watchers could give gintama a chance it deserves.
