Will this driver work for Windows 11 or for newer Apples Laptops?
Damn perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How are you still liking them? I love CTM.
This video should have thousands of more views. Great rendition of this song. Sade would approve of this cover
Excellent rendition! Nice voice. I love this version
Thank you so much for this, all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
How enjoyable are they for music listening? I got the ce110 on the way with hidizs xo dac. As god intended it 🎶🎻💯 your music was nice btw
First off Thank you so much for your compliment it means a lot ❤. As for the IEM's I'll say this 1. Take with a grain of salt with my IEMS being custom and the sound may have been adjusted with the molding. 2. As for my experience with the sound, It's pretty well balanced. It's not bass heavy at all, although i would like to get a little more bass presence. But far as I hear, no frequencies are overpowering one another
This video could have been half as long and twice as informative had you just planned what you were gonna say before recording started. And if you know the lighting is bad, why not do something about it?
is this going to mess up anything i have now
It shouldn't depending on what you currently have.
Thank you this worked for my Windows 11 Pro setup. Very helpful advice.
Can I just connect the ethernet connection with my macbook and use it as an output audio interface? Been looking for a budget output audio interface with 12 (xlr) outputs. Thanks for the answer!
I don't believe this will work as it's not an Dante network device. All connections with this are solely for beginner/Midas family of products
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks @stownproductions, very useful information about DN4816-O as Split Snake. I have a question: If I connect the Behringer X Air XR18 via USB to Logic Pro X (LPX) to record a multitrack live show using the guitar input (from one of the Hi-Z inputs) loaded with FX plug-ins in LPX (modeling, reverb, pedalboard, etc.), would the FOH (via the Midas DN4816-O using Ultranet connection) only receive a DI guitar, or would it also receive what I hear in the IEMs (with the FX plug-ins)?
Best video for this, it worked without a problem. 🔥 Thank you!
Bro keep doing your thing, you're a hidden gem waiting to be found
That's very kind of you thank you ❤️💯
Got me right! Thanks for the video! XR
Couldn't imagine ANYONE doing this song, except Sade, You did a beautiful, stunning cover, would love more covers of Sade !! Thank you
Thx for the great explanaition. X-Touch works now fine in Cubase :)
I don't have an option for Anolog in either mixstation or the official app. Only In/LC so that's in with low cut. How did you get that option?
Acutally I figured it out. This option isn't on my X32 only my XR18. That's strange.
Boy I thought you was MO3🙃
Hi, bro. Thanks a lot. I still play FX6. Please tell me, can you connect Fantom X and DAW to play something like MODO BASS plugin on every performances, and the rest would be internal sounds for Fantom? Sorry for bad English. What i meant to say is that the left hand (one part in performance) is MODO BASS or any other plugin, and the right hand are Fantom internal sounds?
Hello, Best way i think you can apply this for yourself is 2 parts. 1st: on the Fantom X you'll need to go to performance mode and split the parts that you want you hear on roland. The parts you want to hear on your modo bass would be split parts/channels you'd have to mute on the fantom. 2nd: Get an interface that'll carry both your fantom's audio and your DAW's audio. Hope this gets you started. I'll try to make a video on this down the road.
yeah as professionals we'd all prefer splits through an analogue split. Screw having to deal with being upstream of anyone else's gains.
If someone want to make good music, It's probably 2023
Do you know if this will work for the latest mac os and windows 11
Hey bro, whats the XLR connector for? You mentioned Stereo and two connectors? Can you explain please?
I think you're referring to the XLR to TRS adapter. Since the x32 track does not have combo inputs that carry both XLR and TRS, I had to get an adapter piece to connect it to my x32. You can do the same connection with DI BOXES and a pair of TRS and XLR cables. As for the signal I split it left and right a link the two as a stereo pair as opposed to one mono signal. Hope this helps
That Heritage D console is beautiful.
Espectacular!!!
Thanks so much for this video. Networks are always a challenge and this worked for me. Much appreciated!
Appreciate you brozay!! Good meeting u!
Thnak you ! My Fantom XR works well now !
Hi this works also on a midas M18C ? for in en outs
Are you able to use a debit DAW controller like softube console instead of the x-touch with the iPad and the X32 rack console?
Hi, I'm really interested in doing this with my x32 rather than buying splitter snake. I've heard that the one challenge of doing this is is that FOH won't have access to preamp trims. Is there a way to tap the signal so they just get the raw input and can set their own preamp gain? Thanks!
I need to learn from you mr plse.
Hlw
wow what a great tutorial this was. SUbbed!
Awesome job for an awesome song!!
Thank you, your video help me a lot. Happy new year! 🎉
Dude, thanks a ton for this! I was trying to use my ultranet port on my xr18 to get more analog outs for a splitter. Couldn’t find anything that would do this about a year ago when I was looking, and ended up buying splitter boxes… wish I had seen this last year!
Crazy vibes‼
Is it possible to make your own accompaniment on the fantom x6?
First time seeing your channel. Very detailed and quality info here!
WOW! Just WOW!!!👍🙌👏
That’s great for tracking Through the FX and recording the Dry and Wet to separate tracks! Now how about in the Mix process: Routing channels (say 32) out of the DAW, into the X32, processing with the Channel Strip EQ/Dynamics etc. and/or the FX slots, (so offloading from the DAW CPU to the X32 DSP), then back into the DAW to continue processing with the computers freed-up CPU power, and finishing the mix. How do you route that? How do the onboard X32 FX compare with what’s in your DAW plug-in folder? What kind of latency compensation would you need? Etc. Thank you though Bruh! Your videos are helping me make some decisions.
Amazing cover, my dude! I see you 💯!!
what a lovely cover my god, i was so surprised how little views this has. theres so much emotion in your voice that transforms the mellow tone of the original to something so passionate

Hello Darnell Thank you for your review Nice job ! There is not much information on the stage connect boxes. I was wondering if you have tried your new stage connect box as a splitter the way you wanted to for front of house? I was just informed through sweet water that the stage connect boxes only send line level signals NOT MIC LEVEL SIGNALS which means the FOH console will have to zero the house gain structure as the gain stage settings are set from the stage side of the system when using stage connect systems, NOT the FOH , so did this work for you ? if so how did you do it ? and how did it go ? Additionally My system is using 6 of the Midas DP48 s through AES -50 as when we tour we ran into all kinds of wifi traffic issues from show to show, so were getting ride of as much wifi as possible we use the AES-50 ports to the stage connect boxes however the gain staging is still set from our IEM side on stage , not the house side, which will make various Engineers pout a lot ...shoot me an email and I will get you my number so we can possibly figure this out together since MIdas and Behriger support is pitiful these days thank you for your time patvox1 at the g mail place hope to hear from you
At first I thought using this for our IEM X32 Rack instead of some analog splitters would be smart idea, because it is much cheaper and it would be lot less cables. But several FOH guys in different forums and groups told me that it would be bad idea. As you mentioned there is the gain problem, where FOH is dependend on your monitor mixer settings. They don't like this at all. Also you would have an additional AD/DA-Conversion introducing additional latency and sound degration. I don't know if this is just conservative thinking of these FOH guys or if it would be really a problem. The advantage of analog splitters is that these are invisible for FOH from a mixing perspective. They don't need to change anything on their side (except some cables at the stagebox).
@@ThomasAbts so the x-air mixer has an "analog" option for the ultranet outputs. Would that not then act as a traditional splitter or is the signal still being processed by the pre-amp and making it a line level?
@@MattLunser I only know of the X32 variants, and there will always be a A/D convertion and back. So there is some processing. I don't see how x-air would work different, since these are quite similar to X32. AES50 is a digital protocol. I never heard of a analog option?
@@ThomasAbts I believe your right. The X Air app has USB sends and even in the "analog" setting, the output is post the preamp.
Hey man ! Nice video... are you sure s-connect can carry 16in 16 out? I thought that it could carry 32 signals total ..no matter what ..for example 24in 8out , 8in 24out etc....
Hello Stratos I thought i would try to answer your question s-connect is proprietary to Allen heath systems all companies have there own networking system protocols so you are kinda forced to use there products to get best results, the Midas stage connect boxes will only run from there own AES-50 or P-16 network protocals unless you get an adapter system to allow stage connect boxes to talk with the s-connect protocals .. typically the adapters for this use Dante as the universal network languages which are not very reasonable in price when you buy all necessary components hope this helps would hate to see more people buying non or barely supported products and learning the hard way that these systems are not plug and play hence the reason the Manufactures of today don't put out specific information just non informative quick start guides that don't really explain the actual capabilities of there products , so guys like Darnell and I and likely you are the industry test lab rats that take a chance it will do what we think it will do , read my comment to Darnell additionally the stage connect boxes only send line level signals not mic level signals ....uggg I think this is why there isnt much info on the stage connect boxes just the vague manufacturer generalized info (Whom don't even mention its line level only)
@@patyaden4556 Do you know if I can link 2 Midas DN4816-I together, then connect them to an DN4816U then send its USB to the Akai Force to be use as a audio interface with all 32 inputs channels show up in the Force?
@@Noise-Conductor Hello Poetic noise The DN4816 1U boxes can be linked together, however they will not talk/connect with any other networks that do not use Midas Behringer AES 50 or Ultranet (P-16) It is my understanding they were primarily designed to enhance the P-16 systems
@@patyaden4556 Even with the DN4816U send the USB to the Akai Force? I'll do more research. Thanks for the help.
@@Noise-Conductor I beleive the usb ports of the Midas stage connect boxes are just for firmware updates let everyone know if you make your process idea's work ...were all learning together
Why the output Ultranet on the nd4816-o Please explain. Thank you.... I'm very new to this and usually you go out of one piece of gear to the input of another. Again, please explain why you are going into the Ultranet Output on the ND416-O. :)
Thanks you for your question. Only reason i use the ultranet is because I do not have the STAGECONNECT port on any of my mixers. It is currently exclusive to the Behringer Wing.
