I have a strong feeling they'll do something with f+1+2 and qcf+2 ch properties is nice. For the sake of Tekken being a mostly first to 2 game and for fun, I've wanted Steve to be able to use his heat throws outside of heat but weaker versions of the throw of course just to add more versatility to ducking pressure. Maybe the normal version of the 1 throw could +10 to +12 and the 2 throw could be 30-35 damage. If the 1 throw was +10 you could do like 1,1,2 loops into ext ducking throw lol. With that change I believe this will open up more counter hit/ mix ups opportunities with ext ducking options (even regular ducking) whereas in its current state it takes a ton of conditioning to use his ext ducking options for counter hits/mix ups. Moves like ducking+1 would likely counter hit more for a change. One more thing I would like is for crouch jabs to not to break Peekaboo stance. I know steve has like 6 or 7 options to punish crouch jabs after pkb d+1 but the effort it takes to punish crouch jabs I don't know. With that change he'll be able to take advantage of that -6 more effectively. I got one more fun, dumb change....I would want Lionheart to have a power up if you hold the animation longer. Now Im not sure what to do with that but, maybe it can be three levels to the power up and Steve could have a new voice queue to let you know which level he's in. Maybe Lionheart 1+2 could be an unblockable at level 2-3, Lionheart 2 could be plus on block with chip/push back, and lionheart +1 i'm not sure.....lol

Hope they take away LH and give back all his CHs (season 5 mode)…sonic fang becomes a launcher in heat like his RD…or maybe FF2 heat engager and launcher in heat instead of running 2. Make steve the counter punching paragon instead of a psuedo CH , psuedo 50/50 and psuedo evasion character.

Noctis was never cheap. He was more of a tekken fundamentalist than some actual tekken characters. The cheapest thing he had were weapons that you couldn't low parry, but we're launch punishable anyway. Clive and noct were nothing alike.

Agree with the tracking. Steve in general needs better hit properties. Fix list 1,1,2 into duck+f2 should have enough of an advantage to beat armor and rage art. -Too many buttons on hit leave Steve with mediocre frame advantage AND pushback out of ideal range. They need to be upped to +5 or +6 -Both PKB df+1,1,21 and F+2,2, 1+2 should have some different property or animation if the opponent is caught with the second normal hit but not the first. Your reward for catching someone sidestepping or standing shouldn't be to get punished. Wish List *B2 starting 1-2 frames faster and completely evade highs untl the move is finished. -Df2 should absolutely be 14 frames and do 15 damage on normal hit. Demand -Idk what kind of sorcery they need to do, but either make low profile stances easier to hit, take increased damage.. Steve can be +4 and yet Rocket launcher, DF2, PKB DF+1, regular df1 will straight up lose to Ling if they feel like going AOP.

I think the nerfs were political as well. Im sure Square Enix wants him to be good, but not so broken that a whole community resents him and his inclusion in the game. Slaps on the wrist really.. Can't wait to see what the team does with all the characters in season 2.

Just like lionheart transitions releasing in an awful state then being "buffed". Clive releasing with blatantly over the top moves then getting "fixed" is completely planned.

Making sonic fang wallsplat will be OP because now youll no longer need to do PKB f+1+2 for the wall splat off b+2 or from his PC meaning his wall throw also will be buffed, it also dumbs down the character, only steve specialist can consistently pull off a pkb f1+2 off b+2, that proposed change just makes it so anyone can do a combo off b+2 when opponent is against the wall. You also got ub2 and if that hits then thats a wallsplat, also sf off a clinch throw to wallsplat nah thats overkill 😂
