You are only using a bypass off of the main stream. Fish can still go up or down the stream itself.
This is an amazing device. For every fish that goes in, 2-4 fish come out. It is like magic. I have to admit the new fish are not very active, but that is probably due to a little shock they are going through and I am sure it will wear off.

$5500 for 1500kW per year? That would take a lifetime to pay off even if you didn’t consider the time value of money.
This turbain can be placed on electrical car
Blablabla. What the long video to tell quite nothing interesting but only advertising: 250MW of storage capacity means that it is only 250MW of exceeding production of solar energy at the meridian peak production (around 4 hours) that can be stored and around 79% to 80% of this energy can be produced again out of this period. But the days have 24 hours! Then concerning the minimal power available on the grid you can only guaranty a peak production of 250 MW during a bit more of 3 hours or a meree 36MW during the remaining 20 hours. Would be good the on a grid of average minimal power of ... 36MW if no other renewable energy than solar is available. In the Emirates, only wind energy can produce when sun don't produce. But wind energy needs also to be regulated. And at the end we learn that the grid will reach a power of 5000 MW!!! If you want to produce 2/3 of your energy by sun and 1/3 by wind, that needs on a year may be 4000MW*8000 h= 32 000 000 MWh (TWh). 21 TWh by sun? you need to make it in less of 1200 equivalent hours at full power and around less than 3000 Hours by year. so for an average 22TWh yearly you need a peak power of solar farms of 22 000 000MWh/1200 h = 18 330 MW!!!!! And to regulate the grid, you nead a peak of pumpage around 18330-4000=14330 MW . The 250 MW are very very very little in comparison. It is a beginning but no need to make such emphasis on it. By the way a 72m high dam for only 1,5 Mm3 capacity is really ridiculous. But The Emirates have a lot of money to waste, and then the environmentalist ratiocinations are completely fake! There is another problem. A reverse pumping turbining stations needs to perform to have a maximum difference between upper reservoir and lower reservoir . If you see a map of the Emirates near Dubai the upper territory is less than 100m high 🙂 There are montains only in the north east of the country (but in an other emirate :-) , just near the exclave of Oman, around 1300 to 1400m (but need to dig the upper reservoir like at Jabat Qaddaa of 300m wide * 1000 m long * 10m high = 3 Mm3, and with a 3km long tunnel to west you can dam a valley and have a lower reservoir around the same capacity or may be bigger (you can dam the vally and dig the reservoir to increase its capacity, there are 2 wadis and a little natural water flow and some other dams in valleys around) . With around 1000m net fall and 10m3/s you generate 88MW turbining and 109 MW pumping with a 5m2 tunnel section . With 3 Mm3 in 4 hours you can have a flow reaching 200 m3/s ie 20 times more (with tunnels section of 100 m2 ie 2 tunnels of 50m section or 8m diameter easy to built with machines existing for roads or trains and may be a third tunnel to reach the upper reservoir.with a funicular (it is a place where you see a major part of Ormuz approches so a military radar and may be other equipments could be built near :-). Then you have a 1760 MW turbining and 2180 MW pumping station possible But if Dubai wants its own power station, your can built the "upper reservoir" at 0 m alt and dig some 1000 m wells and a 3 Mm3 water cave with the machines near. Or you can better maintain the machines at alt 0 and use compressed air to store energy , may be reusing oil and gaz empty wells and natural reservoirs.

But reliable && maintenance-free for 25 y+! But 9 out of 10 small wind turbines stop working after just a few years due to the extremely gusty winds close to ground.
Would like to try out one of those, currently dependable on solar (which is extremely excellent)

The two major applications of electrolysis are alumina smelter or hall-herault process (16 units/kg aluminium)and choloroalkali process (2.5 units/kg alkali). These are located near to ports and where cheaper power source like hydropower are available. Alumina smeltering needs 19-20 hours of continuous power supply per day. Aluminium recycling can help to optimize need of smeltering alumina and save energy needs by 95%. Chloroalkali process also coproduces Hydrogen which is used to make Hcl or h2o2 or ammonia or burned for power/steam generation. In 2022, as high as 83 million tonnes of Chlorine gas , 4.8 million tonnes of Hydrogen gas and 190 million tonnes of Sodium Hydroxide were co-produced in the world from chloroalkali process or electrolysis of brine. Water electrolysis to coproduce oxygen and hydrogen wil really consume at least 50 units/kg hydrogen .

Hello Could you discuss the idea of a central climate bank, to excalerate the transition to renewables. I think this is a good solution. CCB = Central Climate Bank The economy would be very pleased with predictable conditions for the energy turn around to handle climate change. To do this, we urgently need a strong, independent institution that will implement renewables and energy conservation in the big economic countries. It would be reasonable to set up a european climate central bank that has the mandate and the power to ensure climate stability (similar to the ECB's mandate to ensure the stability of the euro). The most important instrument is the steadily increasing payload on greenhouse gases or their sources such as fossil fuels. The money that comes in, is in return used to build up renewables and to pay for the losses and damages, that are caused by the rising temperatures. Centuries were needed to install effective institutions to stabilize our money. I hope powerfull central climate banks will be established a lot faster, to stabilize the climate.
