My friend got his extreme totally maxed out on upgrades even with pedal risers for off-road and he likes it a lot! It’s a nice wheel so I don’t think u made a bad decision!

@dbirds21 yes because with the other linkage and shock it uses the travel all the way and then the pedals sit low to the ground when compressed…

It’s fairly waterproof but I always put something over the top…

I got the Lynx now with 66lbs and works fine for 90kg

They are both really good wheels! With a good discount on mini I prefer it… Patton suspension bit soft for 90kg

Yeh it’s needed in some scenarios because when the wheel goes down the mountain u will not get home… Make sure it is elastic abit so it won’t pull u to much!

I got the mudflaps aftermarket but when u take some big drops in the road they get hit abit at the back…

I got the early models of Berlin and my is from 2024 so I think i got HW3 but the cameras are not high resolution so maby the HW3

I do not know and I sold the wheel for a Lynx and after that EX30 then back Lynx to get a T4 pro now :)

I had the 70lbs still bottom outs but it’s fine now… changed the shocks because it was a demo model!

The hotter it gets then u get less viscosities… winter it gets thicker… It’s all personal what u like but when u bottomout a lot or is to soft go thicker!

Thanks! Well most important is to set the 2 suspensions exactly the same as the other because rebound and compression are together in 1 shock!

Hi it’s best to replace the bearings and u will need to remove it from the axle and the seal you can just pop it out with something that have same diameter… The bearings will get on the axle when u close the casings but make sure to rubber hammer it down and then tighten the screws more and more with this same process so it is really tight and your bearing will be on the axle! @@MisterBanaszak The thing is I'm just recording a teardown of the wheel, not trying to replace anything. We've decided to just heat up the cover more than we did prior and see if it settles in better. I think the friction was becuase of too large of an amount of grese I've applied. Will keep you updated!

I don’t have the extreme anymore :( But it’s easy to just remove the bolts at the axle when u losen up the suspension and then go trough abit of travel so u can get to the screws easy! Hope it works out for u 🤗

Ok is this all the time? Then u should look at the 2 little side screws of the battery boxes… Sometimes it’s not a perfect fit and if the wheel is new it needs to settle in? Try loosen them up abit and look if the suspension travel is smoother while not on the wheel… It should go really smooth and if not it’s the sliders that are not inline perfectly! Hope this helps for u?

@@MisterBanaszak the thing is, the suspension feels amazing, it just bottoms out to easy for my liking. I will try the screws thing, i will also install some suspension o-rings just to se how much of it i'm using

@mikoajzeman3 with 75kg it should not bottomout… because my friend is 100kg and he does big drops and no bottomouts so easy! Think u don’t have enough oil in the suspension maby?

@@MisterBanaszak That is a probability. Just to be sure, I have the grey knob all the way unscrewed and the hidden one all the way tightened.

@mikoajzeman3 the knob on the right when u stand on the wheel u turn with the clock all the way and left side counterclockwise

Yeh it’s sad! It’s a solution to a lot… just make good rules and let us pay insurance etc… it’s better then ebikes

CATL en the performance is really good with efficiency and I charge 170kw peaks but mostly 10% - 80% around 20min. So I’m happy with it… The LFP is great but most of the times like 90% I charge at home 13amps only is fine for me because u can do 400km with 1 charge Now that it’s summer i will get easy 120wh/km with highway speeds also around 100kmh/60mph

Yeh on the forums u can follow it because there are progressive springs for Patton so not so quick bottomout…

Hmm what kinda riding u do? They are both great wheels but the Patton is ready out of the box… Extreme u can custom more and the travel with aftermarket suspension/linkage is nice! Both great torque… But my choice would be Patton in the end for overall better wheel out of the box!

@@MisterBanaszak ah ok, i ride 60 %street and 40% offroad/trails. My problem is that every one say: don't buy an euc without smart bms. Smart bms is so important but is that really so important for an save euc? I personly want the patton but is the extreme safer than the patton because of no smart bms?

@marcpit2806 ok for street the Patton is good but also the mini… If I charge your battery full then u will see the voltage and with the voltage u can see if there are no cells out of balance alot because then u don’t get max voltage… I rode all my wheels without BMS and the cells they use these days are fine… but if u take a bms then u can monitor it even better…

Yes it comes updated! But it’s different for countries software wise but internally it’s the faster ryzen…

@@MisterBanaszak no, I did not crash - Several weeks ago I took a faster ride as usual - after some time riding in the woods relatively steady going uphill with 35-45km/h the wheel beeped and from then on I could only ride about 25km/h before it always beeped for overload. Moving the wheel backwards triggered the overload warning immediately. After disassembly the motor I found inside a mixture of oily mud and water from 2 years of riding in winter under wet and muddy conditions. After completely cleaning up one could see that this mixture was a longer time betweeen stator and magnets and therefore rubbing (and potentially heating up) the motor. Since cleaning and putting back together now I get a clear hall sensor error. I checked cabling and made a basic Diode Test on the hall cable and sensor and that is fine. Next I have to check the sensors completely, I will use this video for it: th-cam.com/video/92aAfYXBgbg/w-d-xo.html
