I have listened to Edgar Cayce talk and it was reallu just Bible sermons. He knew the Bible well, clearly. But he didnt offer any understanding of the readings he brought forth in trance. Clearly Cayce was tapping into something beyond his personal unconscious. Was this the universal Consciousness? Universal mind? Higher self? Beings closer to the source? I dont believe Cayce had the type of learning or study to simply tap into his own personal unconscious. I do believe the trance state was used over time as a way to avoid the heresy's of what was being revealed to Cayce, the fundamentalist Christian. Much of what Cayce revealed would be more in line with Indian Hindu spirituality but using western Christian terms to make it more readily understood and accepted by western audieces. Such as reincarnation, and karma, meditation, service, devotion. These are all yogas or ways to unite with the true Self or higher Self which is an aspect of God. Our divine self. Terms such as Akhashic records. In India, Akhasha permeates all and maintains impressions of everything within it. Astrology and planets are very important in India. Ideas of non dual or as Cayce would call it One. The doctrine of soul growth and journey throughout earth and planetary realms are right out of Indian vedenta thought. So much of what Cayce revealed such as chakras and kundalini are again well understood in India. So in short, Cayce used Biblical teachings as an opening to the wisdom of India and the East. In my opinion.

Actually Kentucky remained part of the union. There were many who had Confederate leanings but for those near the East of Kentucky, near the Appalachian mountains. They were not slave holders for the most part. West Virginia split with Virginia owing to the residents wanting to remain in the Union. Appalachian mountain people were nearly always not slave holders.

I believe I first hear about Edgar Cayce was on Art Bell's radio show some time ago.

Jacob's book, "Light is Medicine"..was a fantastic find and read...eso. the sections on light and education. I'm a 60 year old man and I clearly remember Mandela dying in the early 1980's. I remember because I thought for God's sake enough already, because the reporting of his death just would NOT end. News went on for months about Mandela's death to the point of it being maddening! It gets stranger. Swartz keeps saying Mandela was assassinated, I assume in the 2000's, though I haven't specifically heard him say a date that I remember? It gets stranger yet. Besides Swartz continually saying Mandela was assassinated, if you Google 'How did Nelson Mandela die,?' it does Not say assassination, it was respiratory death! Holy moly!

My great-grandfather attended Cayce's Sunday School classes and we have a number of family photos taken by Cayce in downtown Selma, Alabama. He also is a distant cousin. His work was such a blessing to so many. This was the best talk I've ever heard given on him.

I'm slightly precog. I have lots of stories. I'd like somebody to talk to, because it's very rare that anybody believes a word of my life. I'm not the run-of-the-mill people with some vague example of an idea or dream,... oh no... I'm the real deal walking freak. The world's crappiest X-Man. I've made phone calls to warn of murders. I've taken people's place before they get killed, so that I can take the hit. I've not shown up at work because I knew that the TWO backup electrical transfer switches in the data center were both going to fail simultaneously on the same day, and whats the point in going to work when I know there is a quadrillion to one failure that I can't possibly know about... because it's a locked room with cameras... so they all checked the cameras (with various letter agencies) and came to the conclusion that I'm the real deal. I never entered the room. I just KNEW that an impossible thing would happen, on that morning, when I woke up for work. I had seen it coming for weeks. Hell I even asked them to make sure I can't go in that room, and to double check it to make sure it's all perfect and not tampered with... I got so many stories. Sometimes I wake up and get really really upset, because maybe I didn't save that one person, etc. But I TRIED.

So, it was the mid to late 1980s, and one evening my spouse came home from work, and I said "we will no longer buy and eat tuna fish in this house from now on." My spouse said, "okay....may I ask why not?" I said because they are drowning dolphins in the hideous nets they are using to fish tuna." Within a matter of months, sellers of tinned tuna put a symbol on their tins to indicate that they were not using the nets that downed the dolphins (dolphin safe). Is that focused intention, too? Another generation might just describe it as consciousness raising that resulted in a deliberate decision not to be complicit in the callous, cruel, unnecessary, unwarranted, cold blooded murder of another species.

This is interesting, but it's TERRIBLE methodology. He sends pictures to the mother to test the son...and it's only 2 photos at a time, one test and one control...and sometimes he gets it right, and sometimes he doesn't. There are some interesting anomalies, but that's how statistics work.
