Finding Mushroom Friends A New Home | Nature | Friendship
The oyster mushrooms that grew up in my apartment used up all the moisture they had. I tried to water them, but then I started sneezing a bunch for the past few days and the mushrooms looked like they were struggling more. So I took them out into a ravine to find them a new home. I hope they like their new home.

Last Friday a nightmare came true for me. I am curing from a trauma hope everything will be good
Man i feel you brother.. i wish i can do the same thing you do. I appreciate your honesty. Keep sharing your perspective . Haters gonna hate but it is what it is . But truly sad, i feel the world has gone mad. Keep the faith and stay strong always.
So beautiful…. Thank you for your love and vulnerability and the courage to be you. I feel you are echoing so much of who I am but am unable to live always the way I long for. Love to you , your wife and Doobie.🙏 I live in the UK and am wondering if I can get the mushroom gummies over here.
May I take a walk with you kind sir.
i personally wouldn't grow mushrooms in my home open like that, they release so many spores that you can't see but inhale
The Korean War was btwn Democratic People's Republic of Korean +China + Russia/USSR vs USSA and followers... to be more clear... this McCarthy-esque antagonism and hatred is a primary contributor to the decline of America as we know it... remember the 2019 Military World Games, where Palestine was invited and Israel refused to join, and suddenly the novel coronavirus was introduced into society; all these facts you ignore still for your White-Asshkenazist masters will continue to bamboozle you until you finally unbrainwash yourself ... and stop being such a snooty "ex-MD" as is yout journey more meaningful more truthful than others
You should run for president
Racism is normal in human life, it also exist within the family. So do not take it seriously.
Just saying music is amazing and I’m glad that you like singing. That is so priceless!
I looked at like five comments and it is so awesome. It might be something about the mushrooms. Lol I think it is so awesome.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You are such a smart brave and upright person! You are seeing the truth of the world the the deep state use the media to manipulate the mind of majority people to hate each other by dividing them in to small groups. Lable them and make up stories. And we forget to look at the real problem the real enemies who are those '13 families' which controlling the world
I love this video. So raw, so true, no bs. More people need to hear you and your story. I'm seeing this as a first year university student in Canada, currently in kinesiology, wanting to go into medicine. While I can never pretend that the system here is anything like it is in the U.S., there are still many of the same issues in our country. Despite having a single payer, tax funded healthcare system run by the government (which you would think would try its best to encourage, promote, and expand its preventative medicine system in order to lessen the burden and cost on every other part of the system), many Canadians still eat like shit, don't exercise, are super stressed, get little sleep, and smoke, drink, etc, leading to them being prescribed drugs and having procedures that they don't need. Many people like to think that Canada is a more equal, socialist society than the U.S. with better public services, healthier people, and less inequality. And while this may have been true for a long time in the past, and while it probably is still true today, the gap of inequality between in Canada and in the U.S. is shrinking. Canada is getting ever more capitalist and fiscally conservative, leading to record profits for big businesses of all types, who then lobby the government to keep the cycle going. I'm not saying business is bad, but business needs to be strictly regulated in order to prevent abuses of people. But due to the decline of regulation, people are working more stressful jobs for less pay, meaning they have to work more and can't afford healthy food, meaning they have less time for leisure and exercise, meaning they are more unhealthy and more likely to get diseases of all kind, costing our citizens more in taxes and/or leading to the decline of our healthcare system when the government doesn't allocate more funds. The system is broken and it will probably continue to stay that way until the world reaches a breaking point of such extreme inequality not dissimilar to that seen during the industrial revolution. I still want to be a doctor, because like you, I want to help people. I've always been interested in many fields such as psychiatry, rehab medicine, sports medicine, and pathology, but after seeing this I will definitely explore the world of public health and preventative medicine. You've really opened my eyes to the benefits that the world could have if more people entered these fields. By no means do I think you should go back into medicine if that's not what you want, but I think you'd make a great public health doctor. Otherwise, I have no idea if public speaking as a keynote at events/conferences interests you at all, but I'd pay to hear your story 100 more times. Thank you profoundly for posting this video for free on TH-cam and allowing me to see it and I hope that you continue to find happiness and passion in your life.
Thank you for talking about this subject, it resonates with me.
Having spent about 35+ years working in the medical system is grinding and exhausting. I worked in many related medical fields. The last was an Ultrasonographer in high risk Obstetrics, among many other related areas. Was always very professional and conscientious. When I was able to retire I never missed it for a second. Unfortunate, because by the time I was able to leave, that was when my skills were the best. That took years to acquire that level of expertise, but the medical system is clueless as to what it takes to develop that kind of skill level.
Thanks!

Welcome to the Golden Corral, the 21st century O.K. Corral.
Thank you for this video, it helped me strengthen my faith in humanity. Wouldn’t mind if it was 2 hours long. Thanks again
I just started watching silo too
This is a great video and thank you. As I watched this, maybe midway through, I knew where you were going with this. $$$$ I have severe mitral valve regurgitation, and they said it’s causing my Afib. They recommended surgery. Sometimes I wonder because of contradictions and switching of medications. I’ve dealt with 5 cardiologist….lol. I’m 77 and in pretty good health. I look like in my 60’s. Oh yes, I do have sciatica which I deal with. It comes and goes. No surgery for me with that, but I dread open heart surgery to repair a valve? IDK
You wouldn’t believe how deeply your thoughts resonated with me. I was in tears. Anyway, I am sure your journey ahead will be great, and you will have all the needed support from the universe.
Goobie, I do feel less alone when I watch your videos and it gives me a sense of peace. Indeed you do talk about topics that other people do not approach. Your videos have helped so much and I am thankful for you.

I think the mushrooms will thrive in their new home. I believe the mushrooms sensed your gratefulness, Goobie.
Hey, can in touch with you, please very urgent. M'y email is in m'y Channel description.
At first, i believed you "doctor" but as u keep posting this "gentleness" act is pure BS. My humble opinion is the "dr" is high all the time. .lol 😂
Your videos are absolutely helping me. I admire your bravery and I'm so grateful for you sharing your thoughts with us. I have heard that instead of "finding joy," we can "choose or give ourselves permission to feel joy, be joyful and enjoy Life - even when our surroundings are like the muck that lotus flowers flourish in. May you and everyone master this skill. Peace.
• Gorillas are vegetarians? There are differences between the digestive system of a gorilla and that of a human. But that is not precisely why a gorilla os able to survive. Gorillas are ""mostly"" vegetarian, though they aren't strict vegetarians. Their diet primarily consists of leaves, stems, fruits, and bamboo shoots, but they do occasionally eat small insects and animals. Gorillas are classified as "folivores," meaning that leaves make up a significant part of their diet, especially for mountain gorillas, which consume less fruit compared to other subspecies due to their environment. • Differences Between Gorilla and Human Digestive Systems 1. Digestive Tract Adaptation: Gorillas have a much longer large intestine relative to their small intestine than humans. This larger large intestine allows them to process large amounts of fibrous plant matter efficiently through bacterial fermentation, which breaks down fiber and releases nutrients. 2. Cecum and Colon Size: Gorillas have a relatively larger cecum (part of the colon that connects to the small intestine) and a more developed colon, which supports the fermentation of cellulose-a plant fiber that humans cannot digest easily. This adaptation helps them extract more nutrients from leaves and fibrous plants. 3. Gut Flora: Gorillas have gut microbiomes specialized for breaking down fibrous plant material. Their gut bacteria can ferment cellulose and other complex plant fibers that humans would have trouble digesting effectively. 4. Energy Needs: Gorillas have slower metabolisms and lower energy needs relative to body size compared to humans. This allows them to survive on a high-fiber, low-calorie diet, which will not sustain humans adequately over time.
I have a message for you which I mean compassionately; I think you are suffering from depression. I know you don't trust doctors so are turning to shrooms but that is just another form of denial. I'm not saying you need medication - please find someone who specializes in somatic therapy and take up yoga. Stop with the shrooms. If you keep going as is, your wife is going to leave you. When that happens come back to this comment and read it.
I always forget my dreams when I wake up, but sometimes when I walk into a room or meet some people somewhere, and I feel like I have been here before, or met the people before and realised it was in my dreams. How strange.
A Very holistic lifestyle
I can understand you're an idealist sort of we are all guilty but you can get anxiety or guilt as i have about you're choices all the time.
There is a difference between (mostly) herbivorous gorillas and omnivores (e.g. humans): they can digest cellulose from plants and transform it into protein, whereas humans can’t and need protein from meat.
Paul Stamets was asked what we could do to help if we didn't study to be mycologist but wanna help in some way. He said let the fallen trees stay fallen. So I do. I have a mini forest in my backyard and a couple have fallen. I did plan to haul them but I may just leave them for now.
I cried… when you asked mushrooms where they want to be…
I have enjoyed your experience dear Goobie, and thank you for sharing, it touched me to see mushrooms as a living being, yes so they are. They should grow in nature…I look forward to seeing your return video to check out how they are growing in their new home.❤
Thank you ❤😊😊
Do you think that confounding variables play a role in this conversation? When you said you noticed the people who generally had continual problems were stressed or smoked a lot it makes me think the problem leads somewhere more towards access and quality of healthcare overall and living circumstances/conditions. Take two people, one whos raised in a less afluent house and one the opposite. Maybe the less affluent persons parents tend to smoke and sit on the couch so they are likely to develop the same behavior. Meanwhile, the other person likely has parents who tended to do what you said causes less pain and morbidity generally. So this seems like its going to have to be a really wide all encompassing approach to solve and as a recent public health major graduate im running into some of these things but on the exercise science side of these things. However they are aiming to remedy and change the lifestyle of these individuals, who tend to lean more towards the less affluent side of things, but they still have to be affluent enough to attend some sort of rehab, most times its too late by the time they do in a lot of ways, but i think our country is trying to make strides in the correct direction but im not sure if there’s much progress yet.
I miss your doggy, doobie
