6.0 powerstroke ZF6. Just some shifting
SCT tuner. 5 inch mbrp. No muffler. ARP head studs. Egr delete. POWERMAX turbo....Trying to shift, and hold a phone is a little difficult so i tried my best. Turn it up and enjoy!

2005 ford diesel f350 zf6 manual trans. Sct tuner. Max tow double vision gauges. Mbrp 5" straight pipe 3.5 downpipe. has #3,#4,#5 bad injectors. Still starts up everytime.

its my friends truck. what i know is it has a chip with 9 settings, larger turbo, larger intake, stage 3 injectors, 4 in exhaust to an 8 inch stack. about 180,000 miles on it and its quick. but im not even kidding, the kid doesnt drive it past 1600 rpm's

four inch magnaflow exhaust manifold back. it hasn't ran in over a week so it was a little hard to start. sounds great if i had a better camera

this is a stock exhaust that my friend removed. this is also a high idle, the other video is the regular idle

I put the exhaust on in 2014. I know its not 5 inch. Maybe 3.5? Whatever the mbrp 5 inch exhaust kit is tfrom the turbo back

2010 was the last year for a manual trans in the Super Duty's unless you do a swap. A long time ago i used to have a 7.3 XL 4wd with a manual and I regret selling it.
Have had plenty of 7.3s and wanting a 6.0 powerstroke just gotta wait hopefully soon I’ll have one but grandpa Has a 1999 or 2000 Ford 7.3 6 speed then my dad had a 7.3 with a 5 or 6 speed obs ford
That's a lie actually.. all 6.7s have a manual mode that tbh is so much better than a fn clutch.. in my opinion at least.. works the same without all the hard work. But you can ask Ford to put a stick shift In and they will make u you from factory. My 2015 Ford 6.7 f450 has a 6 speed with the norm granny gear In it.. 10ft bed weight class 5 , need a call b CDL to drive it. But I'll admit it is a tank with that stick. But absolutely kills you when ur working in city's , you'll end up gaining 10lbs in the left leg thanks to the triple disk....
@@jakeblank94 manual mode is still an auto trans. Still has clutch packs instead of gears, still has a torque converter instead of a clutch. Ford stopped putting manuals in trucks in 2010. Not a single 6.7 came out of the factory with a 6 speed. I only know of one 6 speed 6.7 and it took a lot of work for it to happen. Its not even a daily, only a pulling truck.

I love the way the non turbo 7.3 sounds at idle with a straight pipe. The higher the Rpms, the worse it sounds.
Flowmasters make the difference I think.
You better have a 4.10! Your engine is screaming bit nothing goes past the window very fast
Hits rev Limiter going from 1 into 2 and dumps the clutch to the sound of a mechanics melody. I suggest upgrading your clutch and drive shafts. Input shaft as well as output need to be billet. You can twist your drive shaft very quick shifting like that with a high preformace clutch. Do you have a 4.10 rear end? DANA 60 AND DANA 80 differentials are known to be primordial gods when compared to the typical for 9" or 10.5". If the axels were like the legs of a lady, the ford 9 and 10.5 would be chicken legs lol. I tried shifting gears like a boss, three times in 20 seconds, without using L and I tried to start rolling, uphill, in an f350 with a 3.50 rear end. I only embarrassed myself after realizing Low gear with a 3.50 rear end is actually not Granny gear.

@@emccamaro1991 how does this truck drive? I want to pick up a single cab 4 speed 4x4. I'm guessing fuel economy is about 10 city 12 highway or so?
@@billyray4716 8 around town 12 highway. I generally got 10 mpg.. its stiff. Older truck. But its a pickup. So isk what you expect. Tranny shifts really slow and its really only a 3 speed. 1st is a joke even with 3.55 rear

Plug to the vgt on the turbo. Cut the wire, run two leads to the cab put the switch there. All you are doing is cutting the voltage to the vgt. Check engine light turns on every time also

Ahh you have an ear for it. Just a smoke switch. But honestly i use it more for just to lower the sound at idle when its warming up
there is no such thing as a 400M a 351m yes but a 400 is just called a 400. just so you know
Yes i know. But not many people understand its literally the same exact engine. Just a different crank and pistons from what i remember so its easier to say 400m to have people relate the two.
Also makes it easier to give the 400 (which is a fine motor) a bad rap by relating it by designation to the undeserving 351m......Understanding they are basically the same motor but one having a longer stroke is not the same as people relating the so called "m" series of engines by overall performance. There is no "m" series of engines just 335. Mentioning the "m" on anything but the 351"m" is what causes most of the confusion. Just my 2cents. Nice truck though

The 400 does not have the "M" or modified designation, it is just a 400. Only the 351 has the "M"

@@coreysharp9794 actually it doesn't. Ford part numbers books from the 70's and 80's listed it as a 351 Modified, but other than that Ford only used the "M", and that only on the 351 and not the 400. It has never been listed by Ford to mean Michigan in any Ford publishing. The 400, as I said above, has always just been a 400 with no letter designation.

What cam do you have? Does it have to have different rods or springs?
Typically if you go with an after-market cam they will require you to use the matching springs. I would highly recommend matching push rods as well. I have actually had problems with bent push rods.
