Sooo about that lock presetting. Ever figure that one out ?

Resistance to gasoline igniting before the spark plug ignites is what octane rating is about. In simpler terms it is resistance to pinging or knocking, which can be damaging in the long run. If a vehicle is in good condition and is knocking or pinging, definitely increase the octane rating of the fuel that is being used. If not, why spend the money? However, regardless of octane, especially with direct injection, use at minimum a Top Tier detergent gasoline and don't go 7,500-10,000 miles between oil changes. Change the oil at least every 5,000 miles. Especially if you live in a place with extreme summer temperatures. I'm a Honda/Acura guy. We personally own a 2024 RDX, a 2018 RDX, and a 2015 Odyssey. We typically run regular in the Odyssey and plus in the RDXs, unless at Costco, which is a Top Tier gasoline, where we put in premium because there is only regular or premium available. 2018 RDX 70,000+ miles burns no oil & has no knocks or pings. 2015 Odyssey, 220,000+ miles, burns no oil, has no knock or pings, and the valve lash has never needed adjustment (and yes, ECO mode has never been disabled). Bottom line. On any internal combustion engine change the oil and filter FREQUENTLY. If the engine knocks/pings on the minimum recommended octane rating, move up a grade. Use at minimum a Top Tier gasoline. We still fill-up at Buc-ee's every now and again, which is NOT Top Tier, typically we fill-up at Shell or Costco. Oh yea, don't forget to drain and fill your Honda/Acura transmission as recommended, they are sensitive about that. Drain and fill, NEVER flush.

Maybe it’s just me, but I really prefer High sensitivity for the touch pad. Once you get used to it, you can navigate much faster, which is safer.

Holy cow I'm so glad I found this video. What got me was it had the same genie remote as mine for my car and I didn't know there was two steps thank goodness I watch this video. It was driving me crazy. This one will work if you have a genie garage door opener, but there's two steps, especially for my 2024 Prius.

Pulling the hand break to “disengage” is just idiotic. 30yrs if muscle memory and I still mess it up every time.

If you're bringing on an "expert" make sure he knows what he's talking about. Higher octane fules only prevent spontaneous combustion at higher pressures. Lubrication?! Idiot! Most cars today will automatically retard the timing if there is pre ignition. Any vehicle that has 91 octane "recommended" cam run 87 and you may loose a bit of perfor but cause NO damage. If it says "required," then you may want to do it.

Oh I couldn't make the 23 RDX Advance default to XM Radio it always chooses Pandora how do I make the primary default XM when I'm clicking on XM? My phone is not even plugged in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off to it will still turn on Pandora overriding XM

23 rdx advance why does my car insist on pandora when I want xm radio that I pay for. Like both but I had xm shut itself off (volume). Could not make it come back on. I shut off wifi & bluetooth. How do I default to xm first? Tyia

@15:11 Tall or Chubby person would have that on; while short or skinny person would have that off, so that we dont have a difficult time pressing on the brakes when starting the car.

The wide angle camera view in my RDX is the best. Dont have to turn around at all when backed my out of spots, because you can see both ways down the aisle in parking lots. 😂

One of the biggest Faults of the TTIP (I have it in my 22 MDX), is for any new driver (spouse, child, etc) that takes the car for a spin. They don't have a Clue - totally lost! They Instantly Hate It.

Well done and very informative. Have owned a 2024 Type S Advance for six months and learned a few things even today. My delivering dealer was nowhere this thorough - thanks! One thing we did discover is that, if you don't care for the idle stop feature, it can be set in the "individual" mode to be always disabled when in that mode.

Seems like a fine dealership. From the outside in. Nice, clean & neat. Likeable people too. Been mostly happy with my RDX going on 4 years now. One of the sharpest looking hybrid SUV’s on the road. Video was well done. Clear, (if a bit stilted) narration. Solid visuals. Liked the sparkly lights effect. No shaky camerawork. Seems like they did the right thing and spent the extra bucks on some kind of steady-cam. Most everyone turned in an admirable performance. Special recognition trophies for Jake & Beja. They deserve a right amount of praise for their turns. Weatherdspoon doing what he can. He’s not about to strain himself over this. He knows the car business better than just about anyone this side of Lorraine. So not about to judge the man. Chad's cool. Don't mess with him though. Loved Danny as the vaguely Dorky on Purpose Guy and former Boy Next Door. The perfect friendly 'n trusty guy in car sales. All while careful not to mistake his role for car salesman. There was however, a particular fly in the wax. Mallory. Guy deserves a talking-to in the boss's office. What for? For the half-assed effort. Not to mention that stunt he pulled with the cell phone. After a stiff straightening out, send him over to Jake’s office for a few pro-tips on how this sort of thing is done. Ironic how "kindness" nearly synced with his cell-phone diss & grimace. What. He can't pretend he's not Mister Frowny for 3 freaking seconds? The viewing audience, (and most critically the fairer dem) are going to see that and think, “Hold on a minute. What was THAT!? In fact, I don’t think I’m buying ANY of this.” Nearly blew the deal for the whole team. Thankfully we got Bako cruisin’ in quick to save the situation as the same suave man on campus he was in high school. Good inspiration to take up running, this one. When sitting down like that, facing the camera straight on, it's best not to do the mechanical toy wave. Especially as a handsome, rugged type. Gets, Play the Game. And gets, Throw some pepper on it as well. Beautiful. Troy brings that low-key suave Love Boat doctor vibe to the table. He brings the wives back. Beja “Great to See You Again!” Handley. Nuff said. Cerne has that great, old-school grease monkey uncle vibe. And that special way of not making you feel stupid, no matter what you say. Like when you don’t know the difference between a wheel and a hubcap. Or the finer differences between a crowbar and a tire iron. He didn’t leave much of an impression in his first appearance as an extra. But came back strong as leadman in the Side Wave at the Register scene. Hamrick hasn’t time for this stuff. Has better things to do and nearly shows it. Maybe he should use some of that time to remove the R from Hamrick and replace it with an M so it sounds right. Instead of awkward and annoying, (but at least fun to say on a certain mock level). Don't know what to make of Beaner. Blaine "Could'a Been Brat Pitt if Born Lucky" Grossholz turns in a smooth performance. Can't have been easy to fill all that extra screen time. Hope he got an overtime bonus for that. Abe with the inches, the pom-pom attack hair, and that natural knock 'em dead smile. He brings the cheerleaders back. Foster-Davis, still not happy with the misses for forcing the hyphen on him in front of the fellas, and it shows. Kehonjic doing his best Sasquatch impression. He the friendly "muscle" to straighten out problem-customers who refuse to take, “Sorry. We don’t chase ghosts”, for an answer. Kylie cute demure ‘n friendly as ever. One thing’s for sure. Someone over there knows how to hire. And develop the talent.

Do you know if there is a setting for this? Yesterday my wife used the key 2 fob to set her seat and set up Bluetooth. I didn't know she left her key in the car later on I locked the car with the number 2 fob and the car locked her key inside. Is there a way not to let any fob be locked inside?

Nice, it's not a minute it's 30 seconds learn button on the physical motor. And it's 20 seconds to erase the code on your homelink.

Does the rear gate walk-away feature lock the doors when it closes ??

In canada, on the A-spec that i just got, has the button to close the tailgate as you walk away. The button that is missing here beside the power outlet in the trunk.

Score! After trying for a few hours, and also calling the dealership, this video finally fixed my pairing issue! I just purchased a new phone. The RDX wouldn't let me pair it. However, it only showed one phone in the list. This video gave me the permission to clear the system and that worked!

I accidentally deleted navigation on home screen. How can I add it back ? Thanks
