Hello everyone. Thanks for stopping by. This channel will feature my every day life at work, home, and wherever life takes me. I normally make videos as opportunities present themselves to me, so you never know what you'll see here. You might see my typical day at work as an Apartment Manager, A weekend adventure, and some of the beautiful scenery here in New Hampshire. In the colder months I enjoy small DIY projects, especially during the Holidays. I hope you enjoy my uploads.

Amazing 😮
Well, this is so pretty!! I miss snow and as white as this. 😊
Is the square better than round? I wonder? When it comes to what grip better?
Wow 25-51, really cool Larry 🤩🙌🏼
Hi Larry5200, This is a nice video and my son Lew and I enjoyed watching it. I have been on that Doe Farm trail before and part of it was a old trolley track line. It started somewhere near Exeter and Newmarket NH. Most of the insulators you showed us were made by the Porter Company and they are plastic and not glass. I do have one for our collection , but they are not worth a lot. Maybe a dollar. That last big pole or(what you called a tree) had some original glass Hemingrey insulators on them. That is a pole and looked very old. Probably for the reason of it's height is because it is just before the bridge. Thank you for showing all of these insulators and the Main line from Boston MA & New York to Maine. CSX freight trains run on that line also and they bought Pan Am railways. We are looking forward to watching more of your videos. We wish you good health and luck. Take care and happy exploring to you,----Jeffrey Hull Jr, (Jeff & son Lew.) Merry Christmas!
@@JEFFREYHULLJr.-ps8nr Thank you 🙏. Merry Christmas
That's a nice walk. There's a few cellar holes and and an old cemetery out there too
hey jeff
Great video! you're good at this
I've been riding the NH rail trails for 2 years ( 900 miles so far on my e-bike ) . This section is not listed on any maps, books, etc . Would be nice if it was finished. Thanks for the vid.
Watching from NYC ☺️
Enjoy walking...stay safe
Watching from London 😊
1900 and still going strong 💪🏿
If there is rail under there that train won't be on there Long 😮
@@JamesNewbery-ov4fz no rails here. It’s just a trail now.
Just bought one and your video was the most helpful on the usage! Thank you.
Amazing
Wow nice
At 2:10 that may be a cattle passage, they where pretty common and explains the dry nature.
@@barry863 I never thought about that before, but it makes sense. Thank you
Some old car so much history?? Thanks for sharing
The is beautiful so relaxing good place to unwind so Quiet the house looks like they abandon no one there be careful the snake is awake 😅
Larry, there is a sign on the front of that building explaining that the rails went past the station - then across main street down to the town docks so passengers could get on/off the Mount Washington steam ship. There were also 2 hotels built near there to accomodate tourists that get off the train or ship.
The factory you are standing near at 9:30 is the old Davidson Rubber Company plant. Here is a little about them: At its peak, around 1985-86, the Davidson Rubber plant in Farmington employed about 1,200 workers, said Livernois, and was serving all the big three car companies - Chrysler, G.M. and Ford. At one point, 80 percent of production was shipped to the South and Mid West by rail from the factory, when it was common practice for car manufacturers to hold five or six weeks' worth of inventory. I actually saw the train on occation as it traveled from Rochester and split at the Y near the highschool then crossed Rt 11 up the spur to this plant.PS They made the rubber front and rear facias for cars as well as some interior dash parts etc.
I am in NH and a lover of our stone walls. Fascinating stories how people lived here. Look for Hannah Dustin too, truly horrible in so many ways, but claimed to be the first statue of a woman in the US, still standing and available to see.

My oldest date nail is 1929
Didn’t know this was a thing!!! Cool !! John Henry is going to be mad !!!
@@JS-zb1vv haha nice 👍
From a legal standpoint, this is illegal and you can be charged with theft from the railroad company if you're cought.
@@cdy9019 it’s not owned by a railroad company. Also, the nails are not sacred. They get thrown away with everything else. Thanks for watching.
Model T Ford era
That is cool
Awesome!!
Thank you very much it was so hard to do it by myself 😅😂
Hello new friend here
Annnnnd. Now you’re a felon lol
@@BigDan7114 no, it’s a rusty nail.
Mint condition loose head nail found during stroll on old tracks! Congrats! 🍾
Thanku, I bought mines a cpl days ago, I just mopped. I must add that after 7 minutes of mopping I could not get mines to spend fully. I thought I had it fastened incorrectly but I did not keep the clip part unclipped. I got it! And I like it. 😀
Thanks for sharing, Gas to start and get engine “hot” then switch to kerosene (10-12 cents a gal cheaper)
Living in New Braunfels close to the track re-activated in 97 we get plenty of traffic daily too
nice place larry
Bad news that’s a 92’ upside down
Jokes on him it was actually a 92
Almost like the steel was better then??
Larry, you are on what had been the Worcester, Nashua Portland Railroad. It spanned three states and many, many towns from Worcester Massachusetts, through New Hampshire to Portland Maine, a distance of 147 miles. [See Wikipedia for the full history] Incidentally, from Epping to Rochester (NH) the abandoned right-of-way became a section of what is now Rt 125. Happy Trails to you!
got a bit dizzy with your fast camera movements ...but very interesting video, awesome scenery thank you for sharing
Great video I sure like the country side thankfully the snakes are hibernating cause walking in those leaves during the summer would be dangerous, I don’t like the cold 🥶 i leaving in 2 weeks driving to California and catching a plane from lax to Vietnam and Thailand 🇹🇭 have a great day
Wow
Nice truck!!
What if they are counting down
People don't know this, but America is filled with abandoned railroads because as soon as the automobile came out, there's a different way of transporting things. The contracts for these railroad lines ended in a lot of, you can probably find old bottle of booze out in these areas if you just look hard enough where they stash their little stash spot.
what a lovely trail, I love the scenery!!
My boss has a 29, found it in a yard in LA
