@frankprocaccini4683 I've driven the car probably 1500 miles since this video and had only driven it about 100 at this point and I'm more used to it. I'd say 2-3, 3-4 etc are as fast as any other manual I've ever driven but 1-2 is just a bit slow, u have to wait a little extra for the revs to drop but it doesn't bother me I kind of like the finesse it requires. The shift cable actually seems to have gotten better with time, maybe from lack of use from the previous owner. @720sobsessed6 yes definitely shifts better the more you use it. Sometimes if you let it sit for a while without use the shift cable resistance is slow especially in the winter. You may have to lube it. Happened to me once from sitting in cold wheather. Had mine 3 years no issues. Engine is bullet proof. I would say just keep your eye on the supercharger coolent level. Charger runs little hot. Had to top mine off 2 times in 3 years. Other then that great ride. Have fun and god speed.

@@BOTDDNA I was literally just at the lotus dealer today and parked next to the emira, they're both awesome cars but the 2 extra "seats", extra power, less weight and raw interior give the evora the edge for me for now. If lotus makes a more raw emira with more power I will order one but I'm not sure I'll sell the evora it's unbelievable, I actually like it a lot more than I did in this video.

@sergeindividual1169 the weird thing with the mpg is we get about 3 mpg better in the 750 than the 720 even thought the epa rating favors the 720. This makes sense honestly with the 750s shorter gearing. Maybe on the highway the 720 will be better I haven't done enough highway driving to tell. You're right most of the 750 weight savings is from standard lightweight options like the wheels/seats. Thanks for watching, these really are the ultimate modern drivers cars!

@majorsnow2835 I don't take Any offense to it, the resolution from the insta360 I use is actually pretty good the problem I'm having is it keeps rotating and messing up the aspect ratio even though I've turned auto rotate off. I've been looking into the issue online but can't find much, I appreciate the support.

@elicash315 that's a nice thing to wish for, but thankfully we have had 0 issues with our 2 other mclarens and the cars are very reliable if you leave the stock and don't abuse them, have a good day.

@saltydoctor2725 serpentine is awesome, but papaya suits Amy mclaren! We have an allocation for the new p1 and I'm seriously considering papaya depending on what the car looks like. I'd say lotus is next but I agree with you lol! Nothing drives like a mclaren, but the lotus feels like a mini one! @bk_nreynolds3278 thanks man! We needed the black pack to hide the paint matched front bumper so we went black but we were pretty happy because the 720 and elva are silver and chrome so it just makes it a little different.

@harveymorris1670 no that's a 911 speedster. The Ford gt was actually 150k now in 2006 but these cars aren't mine they're my father's, only the c8 and now the lotus are mine. I'll have new videos soon!

I love the 720, it's my all time favorite car. After doing 1k miles in the 750 now though, it is a much Bigger step forward than people realize. I've driven them both back to back 3 times now and the 750 is more liveable, it has more downforce, the steering is better, and it is way quicker down low. I don't know why carwow did a test on different tires with a coupe vs a spider but in reality from a dig the 750 will eat it. Looks wise the 720 is still much nicer imo. They're all amazing cars, those 3 are the best driving supercars ever made even if they're all pretty similar.

@@720sobsessed6 many people said 750s has better steering but 720s was actually faster than 765 on most tracks 750s has shorter gearing 750s can't touch 720s if both are on same tires from dig or roll Derek 720 was running 9.8 @146 mph on the street 6 times in a row and top end 720s is faster by default 750s can't do that 750s time on Carwow was 10.3 While on same runway 720s spider ran 10.1 @145 mph and it beat the BMW s1000rr which is no joke

@Smzxe the 720 is a monster, I love it. But the 765 ran a 9.3 on a prepped surface on street tires. The 720 on r888s did a 9.7 after maybe 80-100 the 720 is faster but in the 1/4 it doesn't make up the ground it loses to the 765/750 shorter gearing yet.

@@720sobsessed6 750/765 are only quicker on prepped surface On street they are matched with proper driver 720s will beat them and on 1/2 mile 720s has advantage still Only 765LT is quicker

@Smzxe I love the 720 I'm biased towards it(as you can see by the name of the channel) but I can promise you from a dig, a 15 roll, a 25 roll, 35 roll whatever slow speed run you want to do, the 750 will win. There's something about the 720 that makes me smile everytime I drive it because I have so much wheeltime in it and it was SO much better than everything in 2017/18/19/20, but the second I drove the 750 I knew I was in denial about it just being an ugly front bumpered 720.

I'm just a college student, I resell shoes for a loving. Most of the cars you see on here are my dads. I clean/detail them and get the pleasure of driving/speccing them(not this 458 I was 11). This was a quoted 10k repair from ferrari that i figured out how to 99 percent fix for free. I find independent techs for all the cars and like working on them so I fixed this for him. @FVGAdi he's in real estate, he started out as and still Is a real estate transactional attorney as well. Everybody I meet in the car world did different things to get their cars, in my opinion u just have ro do what ur best at that u enjoy. Maybe I'm nieve lol

Completely different animal. I have 30k miles on this now and have don a handful of 1k mile trips. It's like a golden retriever it's happy doing anything. Whether that's flying down a backroad at super speeds or sitting In an hour of traffic. The 720s steering and engagement is on another planet, it's also 600 pounds lighter and you feel that. U can daily a 720 but it's the happiest when ur driving it hard, the vette is fine with whatever. The 720 is obviously way faster and the steering/weight makes it way more fun. The c8 at a fifth of the price is insanely impressive

@Samiarain huge difference unfortunately. I was planning on selling the 750 until I drove it. The low gearing makes it way more drivable in traffic and the steering is insane. Feels more elva than 720. 720 mid range power does feel stronger in car though. I think the 720 front end is way better looks wise too, I did the 750 spec to counter the paint matched front bumper

Not me, I haven't earned anywhere near enough to buy that boat. My biggest involvement in it is washing it/flushing it/detailing it. If I didn't work for it it's not mine.

It's a phonemenoal base of a car for 130k, which is what the gt3 started at. The transmission and engine are great. The problem is they added a lot if weight and softened the suspension and gave u nothing else and 3x the price.

Nobody is asking for soft close doors on a lightweight supercar. The problem is the cars weight with fluids is 3500 pounds. For such a small for with an na v6, that's not light. Also the speedster has pasm as a gt model

Amazing! We since upgraded to a gp1800 and regret it. The fuel economy was way better on the vxr! And they're bulletproof.
