Thanks for taking the time to post this, but unfortunately it is not the right way to do it. In "advanced Power Query editor" (also for Mac) you can use Json.document command (nested into a Web.Contents command ) to get the data directly and then structure it by using Record.ToTable commands and Table.FromColumns and so on to get the table data in the right structure. No need for saving an .iqy file and manually structure output. There are lots of articles on the usage of this on stackoverflow and other places. Just saying.

hello in this video so you are integrating an API into Excel? do you also do this on Google sheet? I think the difference is that on Excel it's very simple since there is a function integrated into the Excel software but on Google sheet I have to download an extension? Or do I have to code in app script?

THANK YOU. 👍👍👍👍 I have been trying to understand how to integrate private APIs, into Excel. Yours is the first I have viewed, as a non-coder, that is clearly comprehendible. It's about the 10th one, including two series, on the topic, that were supposedly beginner level: not. I needed to work out how to transpose the information, into the various parameter, values, etc., which I was struggling with. This at least gives me more knowledge on trying to work out the supplied coding; & where to insert it, into the Excel 'from web' setup.

Hey Sid! Awesome video! I would draw your attention to one aspect that is often overlooked - Data Protection! You need to be compliant with your country's Data Protection legislation. In the UK it is making sure that your data doesn't leave the UK/EU and making sure you are clear with what you tell your customers about the processing of their data. Also, need to be mindful when using AI that you don't push any automated decision making through AI as that will can become a big issue very quickly. Lots of love! Keep up the good work!
