hi there lovely people! this is a video game channel where i look at and in some cases review my collection of video games - built up from over 30 years of collecting. You'll find no console wars here - all are welcome, you'll just find just an appreciation of great and not so great games!
I do love old school 2D shooters and fighting games , so there will be plenty of those featured!
Please do the old like and subscribe thing, and if you don't agree with something and want to leave a dislike that's absolutely cool, but please leave a comment why or I can't make things right!

Well done.

Love seeing these reissues. Great to be able to buy newly produced games for old machines.
i totally agree, and retrobit are going the extra mile as well, the carts boxes and manuals are all lovely quality. It's hit or miss if you can actually get your hands on them though, so far they don't tend to do re-runs on the re-releases!
In my opinion it was a very decent sequel despite not having a fabulous soundtrack like the first one, but nice gameplay. Great tribute👍
groovy. I really liked the first Golden Axe on MD, this one doesn't seem as good, but it does play like Golden Axe so i'm sure there's lots of fans out there that love this game. Thanks for the nice comments:)
Wow- they spent some time and effort on this!!
it does look expensive...for no real gain!
Always skip intros...... owned this for years (PAL and JP versions) and never watched it!😀
don't blame you! i'm going to review the game soon, so just chucked up the intro so i don't have to sit through it in that video!
On the Roxy and Poison sprites they replaced the minskirt seen on the original Japanese release, instead opting for the shorts or whatever they are. They also seem to have redrawn their top half to avoid any underboob exposure. I think it's a real shame, not because I'm a thirsty son of a gun who thrives on steamy pixel art (honest!) but because the redrawing just looks substandard. Similar story on the western variation of Final Fight One on the GBA. They actually replaced these two characters with badly drawn blokes Billy and Sid (may be the same story on PAL SNES carts too, but I don't own one). I hate those characters. They look like something my 9 year old self would have drawn. I had to fix up and order the Japanese cart for GBA to get my fill of thigh and underboo-- UHH i mean to maintain the creative intent of the original character artists!
yes...maintaining the creative intent. Ill have to remember that one! :) I also bought the Japanese version of Final Fight One because I hated those stupid characters they added!
@@retrospiritsgaiden 😂👌. Ahh what a great game though. Regarding a Megadrive cartridge version... Have you checked out Final Fight MD? It's currently in the works on Patreon, with plenty of challenges still imminent for the developer Mauro. However it is looking great so far, and if you sign up to the patreon you get a rom release for every update and tweak. Many of us are hoping for a cart release, and Mauro was speaking to suppliers, but sounds like he was let down. I think there's such a clear demand for physicals of this, and he seems to be set on doing this justice, so imagine if and when development gets completed, Mauro would probably get back on the case with the cart side of things. Worst case scenario, he can always allocate a preferred third party Etsy repro cart and box maker I suppose? I'm sure you'll find details on yt, but let me know if you want me to paste a link here... There's a good video recently uploaded that explains it all well.
@@hotcoffeebreath you can paste a link for people no problem. I've just checked it out and it looks very cool:)
@@retrospiritsgaiden Nice one. Das tube won't seem to let me post a link to the video. The one I watched was titled "Final Fight MD RETURNS! - Mauro's June Update". I'm sure people can find it by copy-pasting that into a youtube search. It was uploaded by 'The Sega Guys' I LOVE the point that the narrator brings up regarding the implementation of the new XGM2 sound driver. He says the iconic music and themes get a 'distinctly Megadrive interpretation' due to the instrumentation of this sound driver being applied to the Megadrive hardware. All I can say is, "Yes Please!"... Final Fight with Megadrived-Up™ BGM and SFX sounds like heaven to me 😅 I also don't seem to be able to post the link to the official developer's itch page to legitimately download the ROM for demo purposes, but searching tinternet for "itch io final fight md" should get one to the right spot. I have had a play with one of the earlier builds, and it was epic playing on original hardware! When I get time to plug the ol' MD back in I'll chuck the latest ROM into the Everdrive and give the latest build a whirl. Then it'll be back to Final Fight CD on the Megadrive 2 Mini until the physical carts to come to fruition 🙏🙏🙏
th-cam.com/video/TuCaMqT0fiU/w-d-xo.html and this is the guy himself i think, he also has a nice looking hang on clone for MD on there th-cam.com/video/VH8hXW-cV9c/w-d-xo.html
Nice Video ! Sub & Like ! And Love Retro Nes Games !
hey cool - thanks!
na snes versions better although the sound does sound better. Not enough chatacters on screen for me
if i were to compare directly, the Snes version has more colourful graphics defo. I think they play about the same (they are both a bit laggy compared to the arcade). MD version gives you 2 player and all the characters and levels (this one is probably not a fair though cart vs cd capacity means CD will always win here) more screen space (Snes is quite letterboxed) i don't know about the MD remixed soundtrack, i like some of it, but it's lost some grit from the arcade. Snes gets 3 enemies on screen, MD gets 4. Both versions have sprite flicker, the Snes one slows down more. Importantly, Haggar looks better on the Snes. i like both versions enough, Final Fight was probably the first game i ever played on the Snes so i'm quite nostalgic for it, but...the MD version is more complete, so i'd give it the edge (even if in the real world you need a load of expensive hardware to play it!)
Not a fan of this one even on the neo geo. Have you got shock troopers? Thats my fave neo geo game. i rate it even higher than the overhyped metal slug series. In regards to the megadrive version selling for £50. i dont know when people started choosing to play inferior versions of these games . If you did this in 1985 you would have been sent for electric shock therapy😂 . Right, im going to have another go at completing outrun on the 48k spectrum.
the only thing i don't like about viewpoint is the insane difficulty at later levels. I've only played Shock Troopers on a Wii SNK compilation and via emulation, it is a very cool game (the sequel played ok but everything else was horrible) i don't think Shock Troopers was officially released on AES though (only ST2 was) so a cart conversion, emulation is the way to go to get Shock Trooper action. I'd love to have a copy but even converted carts were £300. i get you on Metal slug, it's a bit hit and miss for me as well. i love the first one, i really liked MS2... MS3 i admire more than enjoy, not too bothered with the others in the series! haha at Outrun! the spectrum version didn't cost you £50 though:) Outrun was probably one of about 20 games i actually bought for my CPC464. it had a nice loading screen. that is all.
@@retrospiritsgaiden @retrospiritsgaiden AHH ive got an MVS jamma set up with one of those multi game cartridges from AliExpress but I must use the mister hooked up to a crt TV to play this stuff. Yes ST2 is pretty poor in comparison to the first one. I think everything is just too big so it's more a memory game than a fast reactions type of game 🤔.
RESUMED: *Sound - A LOT better than Arcade* *Graphics/playability - worst*
fair, although I'm not sure about the remixed music, some of its cool, some a bit over the top in comparison to the low key original.
yes , is the BGM. Is fantastic. Especially the music played the CAGE w/ 2 Andores stage. The best!
The graphical leap from Saturn to Dreamcast is unbelievable
agreed - it was massive!
😂 I hope that technical person, earlier in the video makes more appearances in future videos. He seems like he really knows his stuff! It doesn't matter if what he says makes any sense, if it's said in a higher pitched British accent, we can only assume he's an 'expert!'
haha! He does crop up now and again, if you analyse his technical insight it is always perfunctory at best but he has such gravitas and authority in his delivery you can't help but believe every word he says:)
@@retrospiritsgaiden He fits in with most of the TH-cam culture! 😂 If he told me Sonic the Hedgehog first debut on the Gameboy Advance, I'd totally believe him!
well, If he is a true TH-cam expert, i imagine he would've been diligent, done some deep research by spending a good 30 seconds or so on a google search before reading out something verbatim off Wikipedia. Total professional!

I was lucky enough to visit Tokyo for 5 days in 2017 with my best mate, a few months before my daughter was born... Not sure how i blagged that with the wife! Hopefully i can return one day with the family once daughter's a bit older. What a great place and country though! We loved the Lawsons and Family Mart convenience stores, with their cutesey soft drink style beers and hot buffet canteen offerings which kept us fueled for walking about all days. Didn't do any retro game shopping, but picked up a lovely original Gundam OST vinyl LP, and an awesome bumbag 😂. We had a little fun in the arcades, mainly with the older gamee, but i agree with you, my experience at Arcade Club (Bury) outshone any of the Tokyo arcades we visited)
ahh cool. how was the jet lag on 5 days? the time difference really got me this time when i got back (maybe because i'm old) but i was basically a zombie for a week! I hope you get to go back with your family, i'm sure they will love it there based on how much my mrs and kids loved it. Are you still rockin' the bumbag? haha Yeah the chicken in family mart! literally the first thing my son did when we got to the hotel was to get some 'fami-chiki' from across the street:) one thing for sure - Arcade club is cool. i've only been to the Leeds venue though.
@@retrospiritsgaiden I think we kiiind of continued living on UK time zone for the whole time, so we'd get up around midday or 1pm which equated to around 5am UK time, then would just stay up really late and go to bars and clubs and stuff. I can't remember too clearly now but I don't ~think~ I was too wrecked when I got back. Although that was 7ish years ago... nowadays in my mid 40s I can barely have one beer without feeling dead the next day. Edit: yes the (bright green) bum bag is still in heavy rotation 😅. It's a giant one, like double or triple the usual size so I can fit loads of crap in there.
@@hotcoffeebreath sounds like you had a good plan there with the time difference sort of like reliving being a teenager. also..glad to hear you've had your moneys worth out of the enormous / impressive sounding bumbag:)
@@retrospiritsgaiden yeah you've summed it up perfectly.. it is definitely not a sustainable technique for present day grown up family living! One big blocker being there's not a chance my kid would allow me to sleep in to midday!! 😄
Ah nice one on picking up Saturn Outrun. The holy grail version right? Time to get yourself a racing wheel! They're still pretty cheap but if you ever get stuck i have a spare all black one with your name on it (boxed... but not perfect box) which i can't be arsed auctioning or posting, but you can pick up from me if you're ever near Bournemouth or Poole 🙂
oh wow cheers! i do travel south every now and again:) yep i had to get the Saturn version of Outrun whilst i was over there, i had a bit of a list of stuff i wanted to pick up and it was at the top:)
I have this collection!
nice - what do you think of it?
Interesting video. I first went to Japan In 2004 and I remember buying new colour wanderswans with a handful of games for a £10 each and a load of retro stuff but no one was really interested then. Everyone was looking to the next new thing to come out. I don't know what's happened to gaming when the new stuff is so bloody awful people would rather play mega drive games🤔 Did you go to fuji q highland? Im still traumatised from my visit to the horror hospital there.
yeah the bargains are long gone i feel. well i say bargains...but as you point out - no one really cared about old stuff 20 years ago, hence the prices. no i've not been to Fuji q highland - sounds like theme park? i'll google it! i have been to the Disney sea theme park because my kids wanted to go there. This time i just missed out on the new Nintendo museum opening, which was annoying. And i've not been able to get tickets to the Ghibli museum either which is frustrating as f. oh well - maybe in five years time when i can afford my next holiday!
@@retrospiritsgaiden yeh Fuji q is a theme park. When we went we visited lots of theme parks but never went to Disney because we thought it would be the same as the American ones 🤦♂️. That Ghibli museum looks fun. Mrs dirkles and I loved Japan when we went for our honeymoon. It was just so different to the UK and like you say, the food is amazing . Though we weren't to keen on those toilets where you squat over a hole in the ground😂
oh god those toilets! luckily i've only encountered two of of those!
Saturn Outrun is a lovely thing. Marvellous remix soundtrack option.
yes it is! however I don't know if I prefer the 30 or 60fps mode which is weird, you'd think 60Fps would be a slam dunk.
@@retrospiritsgaiden I know - I think I prefer the 30fps version as it has a better impression of speed.
I forgot to mention in the video that it was never less than 30 degrees centigrade, 100% humid, and there's nearly zero places to park your butt for ten mins (there's a couple of benches outside Yodabashi) - being British and not used to such things, I nearly died.
"Benches." You mean those pipes they put down that are miserable to sit on?
haha! Those bars! no these are real world actual benches...there are only six in the whole of Tokyo and they are all outside Yodabashi!
@@retrospiritsgaiden I didn't see a single one! I'll have to go back with the only goal of finding an honest to God bench.
Neat Lokey I kind of appreciate a trip around japan that isn't influencing travel A nice amsr like trip
cheers!
This is very cool to see! I'll never be able to go to Japan, so I found this very interesting. Just as well because my fat western ass would accidentally knock a bunch of shite over 😂. The shops look neat! I like how there's a Pacman on the side of the building. Retro game collecting is getting harder to find that quality anywhere nowadays really. I live out in the country in New Zealand, so sadly there are no arcades around here. I gotta do all my retro game shopping online, and I get absolutely SHAFTED on shipping 😅.
those aisles in super potato are super tight, the trader by the KFC is even tighter - if you like being smooshed up against random gamer dudes in confined spaces those are the shops to go to. the video from inside the super potato was actually from 2019, by 2024 they shifted some of the stuff around, and theres no where near the amount of MD games you can see in the clip. Shame you won't get to go it's really cool, however if you like a relaxing time Tokyo isn't the place to go. I imagine living out in the country in NZ is pretty idyllic and beautiful though?
@@retrospiritsgaiden I used to have a Japanese friend when I was at primary school called Junichi Harrano. He was from Osaka, from what I remember. Him and I used to play our Gameboys together at school. I played Pokemon Green at the time, back in the 90's. But of course, I had no idea what I was doing, as I can't read Japanese 😂. Anyway, Junichi moved back to Japan with his Mum, Akemi. They were only here for what seemed like a short time. Never seen or heard of his whereabouts since. I remember hearing of a massive tsunami hitting Osaka a few years later after that. I really hope him and his family are okay. I still hope I will get to see him again one day.
@@retrospiritsgaiden New Zealand does have some beautiful scenery. And yeah, I love it out here in the countryside. I would have recommended you come here to NZ many years ago. But just like everywhere at the momment, it's an economic mess. If it's beautiful greenery you're after, it's not much different from Scotland or Ireland, going by from what I've seen from photos my uncle took while he was over there. Haha! I think I'm going to pass on the random gamer dudes smooshing up on me 😂 it's a lonely life as a gamer, but never that lonely! Still, Japan would be great. If I could ever afford to go there, I'd go to Osaka, you know...Because of my boring life story I just posted above. Thanks so much for this video, it was a damn good watch!
@@retrospiritsgaiden If you ever want a thorough New Zealand experience without the travel, jet lag or food poisoning...Then just play The New Zealand Story! 😂
I hope Junichi is ok and you get to meet up once more, sounds like he was a good friend. Your story totally took me back to my childhood, totally jogging my memory of something I've not thought about for decades. I have a two super vague memories of the first kid I ever hung out with, who I think was British Chinese - blimey I must've been about 4 years old so this is way back - it was the late 70's and my Mum used to kick me out of the house at 7am on a Saturday morning (I guess that was OK back then?) . Anyway I remember going to his house very early to see if he wanted to play outside, his mum said he was still asleep in bed, but the lovely lady took pity on me - i think because it was so damned early. Anyway she gave me some sausages for breakfast and I watched some TV, then let me go upstairs to see if my buddy was awake. Unfortunately the only other memory of him I have was him moving away from our street, and me waving him off outside his house. Now I think about it, I hope me bugging him at 7am wasn't the cause of the move! thanks again for your post and jogging my memory:)

I appreciate F1. NASCAR is great though, at least before the new rules killed it.
never watched NASCAR, based on this game a lot of cars spend a lot of time in the air so might be worth a watch.
@@retrospiritsgaiden haha yeah that sounds good. th-cam.com/video/VVX2rrMHIjA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HFm1VJ0j6Qm-AxTg basically everything should be bunched up like this.
wow! it's like a 200mph traffic jam.
@@retrospiritsgaiden 😂 Yeah exactly and the cars are stock, run the same, and have restrictor plates. So the game is using draft (front, rear, side) to gain speed and shoot for passes. Two buddies can team up and draft the whole race, just to have one stab the other in the back by spinning him out in the final lap! Intentionally wiping out opponents and rivals is a normal practice in NASCAR.

Had the PAL version of this but couldn't resist swapping it to the JP version just because. Lovely stuff. It's the only "loady" Capcom fighter I have for the console - have the 2 Marvel RAM pack ones and Vampire Hunter which are even more lovely. But SFA2 is a cool one to have - kind of a classic.
i honestly don't think the loading is that bad on this game, unless you compare it to the 4mb games. It is a classic though, it's defo my favourite Street fighter alpha game, and one of my favourite 2d SF games in general. Had to get it!
Do you own a Saroo? I say that as my laser recently gave up my Saturn, i will replace it but may get a Saroo to extend its life.
no i don't have a Saroo. i've been looking at the Satiator though which is a similar kind of thing, shame about having to import it though. I have 3 Saturn consoles, and at the moment my Japanese model one is still going strong. main reason for me to get the Satiator would be not scratching my original discs by using them, so probably not the best reason TBH!
Daytona usa must be interesting for somebody who doesn't live in the u s a.
Oh well at least you've got a spare game case
😆yep!
Wow Talk about an obscure thing. 😮 Never even heard of it.
There is so much tripe on the switch it's hard to find anything decent. It's like the console equivalent of TKmax
@@MrDirkles Totally agree with you there. My Switch is pretty much a paperweight these days. There's just nothing on there that I personally find worth playing.
@@VideoJamesNZ the last game I actually played through was ," the butcher". Well worth a couple of quid !
yeah i was unaware this game existed until a few years ago. no one talks about Osman, which makes it all the more odd they created a physical release. but... it's not entirely horrible.
I'd say..a great game👍
Saturn honestly looks and performs better (Saturn had less warping textures) but then again it was difficult or impossible to do certain special effects on Saturn graphically that were easy to do on PS1. All things weighed out, I'd say both versions are fairly equal.
Is it Decent? Look fine But watching is not playing soo 🤷
wtf? Dreamcast looks like a remaster.
Given the choice between FF on SNES or Mighty FF on NES, Mighty FF wins all day for me.
Mighty FF is a very charming game.
OMG sorry, but PMSL at Hard Drivin'... I swear that needs to be in a best of compilation next time you do one😅. Imagine that happening in the arcade as a child.. just seeing your hard-earned/begged 50p or £1 evaporating before your eyes as you grind the ignition key and floor the throttle to no avail 😩😂
haha - yeah i was incredible confused....and that exact thing did happen to me when i played the arcade game, i think i was 12 at the time -with no concept of ignition clutch and gears! stupid game. it doesn't even drive like an actual car if you can get it moving! That machine hung around like a bad smell in the arcade for years i never saw anyone playing it...
@@retrospiritsgaiden yeah it was such an anti climax of a game. Stunt Car Racer on the PC shat all over it in terms of 3D Drivin' fun! Was a lot simpler tho so I guess it's not a fair comparison.
@@hotcoffeebreath many hours were wasted playing Stunt car on the Amiga:) i was not good at the game, i had no concept of breaking for corners for example, but at least i could get the car moving in that game...
@@retrospiritsgaiden ahh bet it was well nice on the Amiga
Oh boy i used to love hydro thunder at the arcade when it was released. Tried to play it on PC when it had a budget release, but wasnt quite the same! Guess it's the same story on PS2? Not quite the same without huge arcade speakers and a hard moulded racing seat to play it in, i imagine! How does Offroad Thunder play? Looks kiiiinda cool, but could be great on link uo play. What's your final verdict... Worth buying this on PS2, or bagga shyte?
Tbh worth buying this just for Super Off Road Racer really, if it's a tenner or something?
it's actually straight down the middle for me, the compilation has been so cheap recently it's worth picking it up for Hydro Thunder alone. I never played this in the arcade only on DC and have fond memories of the DC game from back in the day (it was still fun for me without all the arcade trimmings). bet it was awesome in the arcade on a dedicated cab. Offroad Thunder is actually fun too, controls pretty well. Badlands is Ok, Stun runner is OK, Super Offroad and expansion are fun but the AI goes into kill mode after a couple of races. The 'Rush' games and 'Hard drivin' can go boil their collective heads though.
@@retrospiritsgaiden boil their heads 😂🤣. I should also pick it up just to give Hydro Thunder a whirl on my old £10 steering wheel and pedals. Similar reason for which I picked up the Sega Classics Collection (i.e. to get a nice conversion of Virtua Racing to play with said wheel).
@@hotcoffeebreath nice, Virtua Racing is very cool - i still play the Switch version regularly. I had the experience of playing the original arcade dual seat version in an actual arcade a couple of weeks ago, it's nice on the steering wheel, but the switch version has better visuals!
Looks like a pretty solid port! I think the original had more people and cars travelling back and 'forth' 😏 across the screen to give the scenes a more busy cityscape feel. Looks like the PCE CD version is the only port that trumps the MD port (although not by a huge margin, especially regarding playability). There's a quality repro of the PCE CD Rom version for 50 knicker from PC Engine Works, so f you're not totally enamoured with the MD version you could sell it and buy the CD for your Turbo Duo (I'm not imagining you have one of those am I?). You likely wouldn't have hugely better gameplay on the PCE, but you'd have the higher quality FM Towns version of the soundtrack. I don't know why I'm telling you all this like it's fact... I have never played either version.... i only learnt it from watching other TH-cam vids 🤷🏻♂️. I tell you what though, I'd love to see how an arcade version of this looked! I reckon this game, (but with arcade quality graphics and sound) would be a very enjoyable experience!
i do like the MD version of this game, it's a touch repetitious but nice. i have the Analogue Duo system to so i could pick up the PC engine version sometime as i do like a cd soundtrack:) nice shout - i like the idea of this being in the arcade on the STV Saturn or a Taito f series board, so they could do some zooming in and out 'stuff', sprite scaling - that sort of shenanigans!
@@retrospiritsgaiden Yeah! Exactly that! I would definitely lose plenty of coins to something like that.
@@hotcoffeebreath all we need is a time machine and a million dollars...lets get this done!
@@retrospiritsgaiden 🙌
Lista ruinzinha essa...
LOL...well thanks for the comment!
My friend said the raspberry pie is too weak to run ps1 games. Said this is the best option. I want to have a library of 200 ps1 games ONLY on this. Are you saying my psone games won't run smooth on my psone classic?
I think it depends on the game, compatibility is patchy as far as I can tell. I wanted to do the same as you and run all my PSone games on this device, i only have 20-30 and even in that small amount of games, there are titles that either don't boot or boot and run very badly with choppy framerates. Ironically I wouldn't rely on this device to run PSone games... but apparently it's OK for 16Bit stuff like Megadrive and SNES (I've not tried those though.)
@@retrospiritsgaiden wow yeah all I care about is the 32 bit games like metal gear. Resident evil. Duke nukem. Silent hill. Need for speed I want them to perform EXACTLY like the disc versions and same frame rate. So you're saying that's not possible with this device?
in my experience it's not possible to run all PSone games perfectly on this device :(
@@retrospiritsgaiden ok so what do I run the games on then
@@vishizzy take a look at my response to your other question, i reckon Ps3 might be your best bet outside of PC.
Such a good game. My buddy had it on NES. Always been a personal favorite of mine.
agreed - a very nice action platformer:)
love this game, played it at disney world in the evening.
nice! i enjoy this game in small doses, i prefer it to Virtua fighter for sure:)
That is 30fps
Rock hard but ultimately really rewarding. The feeling of being able to get through a level without losing a life is what I love about this genre and Cave in particular. Going for combos is beyond me - best I have done is chaining level 1 of DoDonPachi. :) I still have the PS2 port of this game which is great and has a rather good practice mode but it doesn't have Black Label mode which feels a bit easier. It's M2 and their usual classy effort. Kind of a no brainer if you like collecting and playing shooters. Only slight downside is Super Easy Mode is too easy as I 1CCed it first go. Would be good to see a better stepping stone to the full on arcade mode. Novice modes always seem to be too easy though. An "all English" option would be appreciated too but you can't have everything.
yeah i'd love an english menu in these games as the options are very detailed. i don't like interacting with the menu in M2's ports in general, and it makes it more frustrating in japanese (we are never going to see these games released over here tho...) i have enjoyed this game so far, like you say super easy mode is super easy!
Looks like saturn had a more stable framerate vs ps1
in some areas it is but in others the Psone is more stable. it's very odd!
Me like this :)
SMW is a great game:)
the explosions, the lasers, a clear win for playstation
the laser effects are very nice on the Playstation :)
Versão do Sega Saturn é Superior a versão do Plastation 1...
I kinda prefer the ps2 though since it has better lighting and also some new content
the lighting differences are interesting. i think i prefer the more saturated DC lighting myself, but both versions look good.
i noticed the geometry on the saturn while plainer looking was more soild and didn't warp like the ps1 version due to saturn having xyz vectors but the ps1 warping works in its favor with water effects saturn was faster too
i don't know if the Saturn version is faster TBH, but the polys do seem to break up less than the Playstation version in a few areas.
Free games No better how bad or good they are. That's still nice
free stuff is cool, but very cool free stuff is better:) (that's a weird sentence i've written down!?)
