I think this is a great idea. That said...might a lighter bike be a better solution??? I have old bones myself, so I get this whole premise. I opted off of my heavy cruiser, onto a lighter, better handling, easily manageable bike. Works for me...and I dont have to spend..even more money, to be on 2 wheels. Contrary to "biker code"... there is no shame, in downsizing your bike....except, to the insecure. LOL
