Hi welcome to my channel!
I'll be uploading content about my amazing Kawasaki Z650, the cool rides I go on, and the locations I go to.
I will also be sharing my experiences with the kit and equipment I use, and I will show you how I have fitted loads of accessories to my cool bike :)
I am looking to expand this to do some reviews on the kit and bike - especially useful if you are a shorter rider like me!

How to boost your 12v Battery in a Subaru Solterra EV using a Noco GB40 Booster pack.
Hi, the 12 volt battery in the Solterra will only charge whilst you are driving your car. If you leave it standing for a long period of time it may drain. It may also drain if you park up and wait in the car with your AC and audio running. You might need to give it a little boost. In this video I’ll show you how I jump start my Solterra
I use a Noco GB40 Boost Plus (jump starter). It’s a great little device for that added peace of mind.
Thanks for watching, please subscribe for more on my wonderful Solterra EV and my Kawasaki Z650.
Hope to see you on the road soon!

It’s so sexy! - how to fit a Puig Sports Screen to a Kawasaki Z650!
มุมมอง 1.9Kปีที่แล้ว
Hi, welcome back to my channel In this video, I’m adding more accessories to my bike, again bling with purpose! Being of a smaller frame the wind hits me square on my chest and crash helmet, that buffeting flows through my body to the handle bars, making riding at speed a strain on the neck and arms. To get round that, I fitted a PUIG Sport Screen to deflect the wind above me. It’s a very strai...
How to install illuminated window switches in a Subaru Solterra EV
มุมมอง 327ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, whilst I finally found an EV which is fun to drive and where size does not matter, there are a few little niggles, like finding the window and locking switches in the dark. In this video I’ll show you how easy it is to install illuminated switches into your Solterra. We initially bought cheap parts on EBay, but found that genuine Toyota parts work so much better. Thanks for watching, please...

Hi, whilst this channel is primarily on motorbikes with a focus on a short rider, for my four wheeled transportation I’ve been thinking of converting to an EV for some time. But what is out there that can cater for my short frame and is fun to drive? I finally found an EV which is fun to drive and where size does not matter Thanks for watching, please subscribe for more on my wonderful Kawasaki...
How to Install an SW Motech Tank Bag on my Kawasaki Z650
มุมมอง 5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, thanks for watching. Here's how I fitted an SW Motech Tank Bag to my Kawasaki Z650 motorbike. It involved fitting a specific tank ring, a quick release system and a spacer. Now I have a great way of carrying the things I need for the day without wearing a bag of some description. The bag fits beautifully to the tank, and as a short rider does not impair sight of the instrument or riding. I ...
Looks Awesome! - how to fit Acerbis Handlebar protectors to a Kawasaki Z650!
มุมมอง 1.5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, welcome back to my channel In this video, I’m adding a bit more bling to my bike but once again it has purpose and looks amazing too! We bought some Acerbis crash protection for the handle bars and levers… As a small rider, I was worried that I might drop it, a simple spill could end my ride if I broke a lever. Fitting these would give me more confidence that if I did drop my bike it would ...
Mrs ZedRunner - how to adjust the gear lever on a Kawasaki z650 - make it comfortable to change gear
มุมมอง 3.9K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi thanks for watching this quick video. we filmed this a while ago now (last November to be truthful) so I'm sorry it's not been posted up. Mr ZedRunner has posted this one for me as I'm a bit under the weather at the moment. Carrying on the theme of small person challenges when riding a bike, and how to set it up to suit you, this one turned out to be really important to me. I found that I wa...
Small rider challenges - How to set up your brake and clutch levers on a 2021 Kawasaki Z650
มุมมอง 2.5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, Welcome back to my channel! In this short video I'll show you how I set up my brake and clutch levers on my gorgeous Kawasaki Z650 to suit me. When you get in a car you've never driven before, do you move the steering wheel, the seat and mirrors to suit your own needs? Of course you do!! It's second nature when we get into a car... But so many people don't adjust their motorbike to fit them...
Looks Awesome! - how to fit a Ermax Belly Pan to a Kawasaki Z650!
มุมมอง 3.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, welcome back to my channel In this video, I’m adding more accessories to my bike, a bit of bling but with a purpose. The belly pan will help protect the engine and exhaust system from grit and road grime. Whilst it has a functional use, you have to admit it looks amazing! For my birthday I was lucky enough to receive a Ermax Sports belly pan in colours matching my Kawasaki Z650. It wasn’t t...
It’s so easy! - how to fit a Noco Genius 2 battery conditioner to a Kawasaki Z650!
มุมมอง 4.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, welcome back to my channel In this video, I’m adding more accessories to my bike, but this time focusing on keeping the battery healthy over winter. Keeping the battery healthy when riding less frequently is important, if you let the battery go completely flat too many times it can damage it. I installed a NOCO Genius 2 conditioner/maintainer on the advice of our local bike shop. It’s a ver...
It’s so easy! - how to fit a radiator guard to a Kawasaki Z650!
มุมมอง 2.5K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, welcome back to my channel In this video, my series of adding protection to my fabulous Kawasaki 2021 Z650 continues. Time it’s not crash protection, but a radiator guard to help prevent stones thrown up from the front tyre puncturing my radiator. This was a birthday gift and its awesome! All the way From France thanks to eBay and Mr ZedRunner! As you know, all of this is new to me, I’m no ...
Wear Protection! - See how I installed some R&G Fork sliders - crash bungs to my Kawasaki Z650
มุมมอง 1.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, welcome back to my channel In this video, you’ll see me continue the series where I add crash protection to my bike. Today I install more of the protection kit I’ve got for my 2021 Kawasaki Z650, the R&G Products Fork sliders (sometimes called Crash Bungs). All of this is new to me, I’m no expert, but it’s worth showing you how I did it, even as a novice mechanic. You can do it too! Remembe...
Wear Protection! - See how I installed some R&G Frame sliders - crash bungs - to my Kawasaki Z650
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, I took a lot of time to prepare myself to get back into biking, and I’m now doing the same for my bike. I’m preparing it for a ‘less experienced’ rider and giving me peace of mind at the same time! In this video, you’ll see me install the first part of the protection kit I’ve got for my 2021 Kawasaki Z650, the R&G Products Frame sliders (sometimes called Crash Bungs). All of this is new to ...
Size Matters - The challenges of biking for a short rider! Kawasaki Z650 Lust Racing link lower seat
มุมมอง 18K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Hi, I last rode many years ago, and being only 152cm (5 foot) made riding a challenge.. But with biking so popular with ladies, I wanted to discover if those challenges are no longer an obstacle, and can I get back to biking? I’m still short, but the options available to me are so much more than they were 18 years ago. In this video I’ll talk about why being short is not an issue, how I did my ...

Hi, this short video will tell you a little about me and what I will be sharing
Is that an STI in the Garage? V4, V5? Love it!!!
It is indeed, a V3 :) and we love it, had it from almost new!
have you the ref of the bag ? nice video
I've the exact same bike loving it only passed test in August there so you have a link or full name of the crash protection you put and is there anywhere else crash protection can be added on the bike
I've been riding for 16 years cruisers/sport bikes. Just got a ninja 650 and I'm changing a lot of stuff on it. Looking at a lot of videos, but yours so far was most informative. Keep em coming.
you lost the rubber grommet on the tank breather when putting it back its on the floor haha
Thank you for the time to make the video!
This is exactly what I needed and just successfully installed mine after watching your video for reference. Thank you! 🙏 Any tips for taking the sticker in the upper left corner off without scratching the surface?
How to light up windows switch on 2023 bz4x
Did it make a noticeable difference?😊
Thanks for this video
So easy. Thanks for putting this up for us women.
Can lower the bike with shorter shock springs. The front forks can be pushed up through the triple trees. Just experiment and realize your bike will also be easy to scrape when you have lowered it. Can change or modify your seat.
How does one open the lower trunk to get the jump starter when the battery is dead?
You are quite right, on the forums and in my case, when the 12v does the car has been unlocked. But now I’m curious and I will find out :)
No need to rewire? Just plug and pkay?
Thank you!
Easy peasy thx
Not really well done! Sometimes it's very dangerous, when you don't put off at FIRST THE NEGATIV Pole!!! Every work at ekectricities put off the negativ pole, so it's shure when you touch the ground with metal or other things.... Best wishes, Peter
Thanks for this!
Finally!!!! I bought one of these 4 years ago to permanently fix to my bike. Because I couldn't figure out how (and I already had a battery charger as I'm terrible with turning lights off etc). No-one told me about the alligator clips coming apart. You have rocked my world and I'm so grateful.
Glad it was useful to you :)
Hi this is really good video thanks. What torque setting did you use where the instructions state fit the plate as per Kawasaki settings (torque)
I hope your assistant got a cup of tea at the end of it! Like someone else said, I was a bit underwhelmed at no obvious direct battery 😂😂connection option- I was about to give up and get a CTEK
A great informative video~thank you!
I had R&G sliders on my z650 and the bolt on the left side snapped in half from normal road riding and left half the bolt still on the engine with the captive nut so it couldn't be removed. My local Kawasaki dealer said it might be a engine remove job and cost a decent amount. Luckily the mechanic just used a Dremel on the bolt end and managed to get it out. But it made a bit of a mess of the engine and the metal captive area. Replaced both with factory engine bolts. If you look at Kawasaki's own genuine frame sliders they don't remove the factory bolt. Was the previous owner who got them installed but after that I will never put anything R&G on my motorcycles. Cheap tat as far as I'm concerned. I've had 4 R&G tail tidys in total snap on my old zx6rs and 10r. Replaced both with oem fenders and they never broke once. I've seen several others with failing frame slider bolts on forums. Stay well clear of anything aftermarket of critical bolts ect
Hi, thanks for your comments. Sorry to hear your experience with R&G has been poor, and thank you for your recommendation on own.
TH-cam needs more videos like this one. Concise, clear, crisp audio that is on topic and sticks to the point. Keep em coming lass.
Thank you
Thanks for the explanation👌👍
Hello, regarding the sculpted lower seat. Do you happen to have a part number for it ? Was it an accessory ? Currently it does not appear on the Kawasaki website. Thanks
Hi, this is the part number 090SEC0034
@@mrszedrunner2050 Thank you very much for your help :) really appriciate it :D
I'm about 5' 4" all my bikes I've left standard CBR600RR,CBR1100XX Super Blackbird,CBR1000RR, Gen1 ZZR1400,Gen2 ZZR1400 Performance Sport, picking up my H2 SX next month. You only need to look at Jocelin Snow to realise that short people can ride big bikes.
Thank you, love that comment in her video, I’m the boss of it, it’s not the boss of me”
Im 5’4 aswell and want to buy z650 but im not sure if im tall enough
Thank you for making videos like thus ,helped.
I've got the same bike and also returned to biking recently. Mine has black wheels so it's nice to see your green wheels as I was thinking of getting mine powdercoated green as the paint is bubbling on the rim and Kawasaki don't want to know about it. Nice to see other female bikers living their best lives 🙌
I’m a short rider , I ride cruisers , most are nice and low . Harley used to do a super low sportster . Triumph Speedmaster was another low cruiser I had and was great .cruisers are more than capable of keeping up with everyday traffic and very easy to ride at lower speeds .
The super low Sportster only placed a lowering kit in front forks ( shorter springs and less spacer). A real poor effort from Harley.
That's lovely!
Great to find your channel! Another lady rider and short one too! 😊 Clothing really has improved massively. Ride safe, LJ
Thanks for this, my wife has just stepped up to a Ninja 650 from a lowered R3 and is really struggling with the weight of the bike and its a bit dangerous in traffic. Will order the lust kit now for her and see how that goes. How do you get the front forks lowered?
Hi, i had asked for the adjustments at the point of purchase, I didn’t actually make the change myself I’m afraid.
Lovely video thank you xx🏍🏍
Nice video , I just got a ninja 650 2021 and got my r&g protectors, I see I need to go to my friend or get the right tools 😅
These are shit.. they just snap off
Hello. Where did you buy a radiator guard? I need it for my z650 year 2022. Thank you. BR Urška
Great video thanks! Used it to sort my bike out 😊
hey nice video, i have 1 point u don't have to use so manny locktite. only a few drops are enough!
Thanks..
"You can close and lock it from here" serious Q, can she? Can she reach? That button would have been better placed on the side of the boot not the part that lifts? Or is there a button on the remote to control it?
True, it is a stretch for me at only 5ft (152cm), but there are other options, a button on the key fob and also one on the inside by the steering wheel
i really want to have my own bigbike but im struggling with my height hahah im only 5.3" ... and the bike that i want is soo heavyyyyyyyyy
The height of the bike makes it heavier, as you can’t maximise the big muscles in your legs. Try making an artificial floor which would make the bike seem lower, and you will see how different the weight feels. I don’t struggle at all with my Z650, which has a kerbside weight of 191kg
Great videos on Z650! What model Acerbis Handlebar protectors did you buy/install? Thank you!
The model is AT Motocross, part number 0022397.315
So lame your motorcycle is
Brilliant video Mrs ZedRunner!! ❤
very useful Video ..I like to take the Battery off the Bike.. And Have it on a Shelf To Charge. If its for 2 months +
A very helpful video, thanks so much for making this. I have the Noco Genius 2 but had always been using the crocodile clips with various success. Thanks to your instructions I can now connect it to my bike far more efficiently.
great video...
Thanks for this video, nobody show it in France :(
Hi i love your video about Z650.Its really helpful for me xD
That’s great! Glad it was of use
