Hi Rahul, I don’t remember it very well. I think it was an owner beast hook 6/0.

Oh, it was a OSP 6inch Do-Live shad, around 18gms I think.

@rahulnandanwar5118 shads are so effective that it’s almost cheating to use one :)

Sounds good, like everything else in life start slow and take it easy. Distance and accuracy will come eventually, focussing on a getting used to the gear is a good start. All the best!

I reckon apart from the heavier gauge line it is probably still miles above a budget reel in performance and reliability... THey sure knew how to build them back then. busy doing a stripdown, clean and repaint on another of their reels from about the same year today (actually worked on it till 3am this morning. @@OmisFishing
