West Indies Fortunes Will Not Change Until Our Administrators Change.
It is easy to blame the players for the current state of West Indies cricket. West Indies cricket has been in a constant decline for decades and it doesn’t seem like anything will change in the near future. Our administrators have not done their jobs and the on field product is a reflection of this.

Are Jason Sinclair, Junior Sinclair, Kevin Sinclair, and Keyon Sinclair, siblings, cousins or unrelated? Are you aware of K Sinclair, Tanya Sinclair, Doric Sinclair and William Sinclair? I am saying 12 test matches annually. And 12 - 36 or more T20 matches or as many as possible. Would you support international cricket in Berbice, Essequebo and Demerara? Guyana cricket deserves 3 T20, 3 ODIs and a test match every quarter, annually at home.

With 2 and a half days to score 263 runs and ended up losing with what, 2 days to spare, that's not a batman's ability issue. That is a mentality issue. Our cricketers, over the last 15 to 20 years, have been mentally conditioned for short format cricket.... and it starts from the grassroots level. We keep firing managers and team level leaders when the issue starts in the back office. Where there's competent and satisfactory back office leadership, the effects are seen in the production team. For example, look at team Jamaica's track and field performance at Paris '24. It wasn't like the past 4 Olympics. Whenever there are issues at the operational level, it is reflected at the performance level.. people just show up because....

True, but I cannot shake the fact that if the umpires had given Motie and DaSilva the benefit of the doubt we might very well have made that 40 runs. Point taken that we are at home and can easily get players but it is good to have as many cricketers as possible participating in the tour, even if they don't make the final 11. - What are your thoughts on Roston Chase being in the squad? I think his T20 obligations will be over this weekend. His bowling would suit the conditions and he can bat. - What about Brandon King? Is he still in recovery? - We have 3 Test series between now and January. Should Cricket West Indies move on from Brathwaite at the end of this stretch of series if he does not bring good scores? - What about Shamar and his confident batting. Is that a good enough reason to support him in the bowling lineup? - What about having Shamar in for Warrican (left arm like Motie) and have Roston Chase (if available) in for his spin and responsible batting in the middle order.
