I wonder if someone is trrying to reinvent this game just as it was then, actually better than before, they could try making the pinsetter automatic, make it a bit bigger, add 100s of different colors and patterns for the bowling balls, and 2 lanes next to each other, I'd pay good money for something like what I described

I got one for my birthday in 66 when I was 10 years old. I loved this game so much as I was also in a junior bowling league. Unfortunately about 3 months after I got it I had some friends over and we were playing it and one kid got wild while leaning over to get the pins and he fell on it breaking main parts in the big gear and ball return assembly. I was devastated for a long while after that and missed playing this wonderful game. I attempted to glue it back together several times with no luck at all. Glues just weren’t strong enough at the time. Wish I’d held on to it but didn’t.

60 Years Later It’s Still There

Hello! I’m not sure if you’ll still be reading the comments, but this video ignited the fire inside me. You gave me the motivation to start saving up for the toy. After three years, I already got nearly three times more money than I need. A few months ago, I went across a platform and saw the brown variant. I was so excited-and the game was in perfect condition. It cost me approximately 100 USD and I bought it right on the spot. After a few months playing with it, unfortunately, the sweep assembly broke and I've tried gluing it back but failed. I felt dreadful every time I looked at it, so I left it on the top of my closet and hadn't touched it for two months or so. A few days earlier, I came across this video again, Christmas holiday began and I felt that it was time for me to fix it. Feeling more powered than ever, I started printing out the broken parts and successfully fixed it. I was on cloud nine. Thank you, the person who ignited the fire in my heart, who gave me the motivation. This meant a lot to me. Thanks so much!

I had one as a kid. I loved it! This one must be a resto, as I remember mine was brown, not blue. Amazing piece of engineering for it's time. Just like a real alley, the pins would get stuck in the ball return and jam it!

I have An Eldon Bowl O Matic that needs a Minor repair to get it back in full operation, where can this Classic game be restored??

Now I only need the pin elevator and pin distributor for these one

I remember watching this when I was a kid. I can’t believe this Eldon Pinsetter was sort of inspired by the Brunswick Pinsetters that had the most simplistic design. Even though this toy was discontinued, pretty much Mini Bowling at this kind of size was still alive til this day thanks to us TH-cam Bowlers (like Andys Bowl, ThinkCleverAndSmart & many others) that we’re in love of Pinsetters, we made realistic Mini Bowling Alleys and majority of us are in love with Brunswick cause this is the company that had the most simplistic parts. No one in our Mini Bowling community have made AMF Machines cause they’re too complicated, so that’s why Brunswick is the best Bowling Company for Mini Bowling thanks to their 2 iconic Pinsetters, the A2 and the GSX.

Get rid of that crank and put a can motor with reduction gears on it.

DAMN!! That's nice! I was 13 years-young when these games hit the market. Eldon also made the bowling game that Kellogg's cereal sold for $1 back then.

Do you know the diameter of the bowling balls? I have lost all the balls, is there a marble or something that will fit in the bowler's hand and the machine without screwing it up?

My guess is this game doesn't actually reset the pins automatically. I notice your video cuts to the pins when they are set up without actually showing how they are set up.

Why can't they make toys like that today instead of all this video crap.

I bought this in 2003 for $390, sold it 3 yrs later, tripled my money!

Are the balls you are using OEM? Or are they something you picked up.? It seems that those balls hit with more power than the ones in my game. Too light, very hard to strike with. Do you know where I can get spare balls and pins?

I love this! I owned one as a kid growing up. Would love to get my hands on one again. I had the brown one, but I always thought the blue one looked cooler.

I had one in 1964-65. I was three. It was given to me earlier in life (whew). I remember distinctly watching beyond fascinated and learning how the operations worked. Between this game and Legos, guess who became a mechanical engineer!
