My favorite line about the first ba 10e patrol is that its a great space marine patrol. Just never seemed very good as a blood angel box though.

You only need like 5 rattlings, so unless you want multiple squads, you can split the box with some friends, or even sell the extra sprues on eBay! It would be funny to run someone down with multiple sniper teams! Like getting your characters piked off would be annoying as hell!

I had to watch this to see how the mouth fits together, the plugs and holes seem to bear no relation to each other.

Thank you for the review. This os the first time I found your channel. My 10 year old is looking for some varied multipart models to assemble. The free style skeletons look a good way to make females - they seem wider hipped and the lack of integral base makes them a tad shorter too.

I tried building and painting in sections and it messed me up so bad, but I didn’t think I could get a paintbrush into everywhere if I assembled it fully. Have to strip and start over

I do want a sprue, not sure I need a whole box. But a single squad would be a good addition

I think I need my eyes testing again. I have these markers and never even realised they had a dial on them. Neither did anyone else I'm gaming with! I might see if I can do the numbers with a thin posca paint penjust to see if that works.

I got 5 for these for between 40 and 60% off though bidding on ebay over the past few years, then sold the BA upgrade sprews for $5 each. Did something similar for Space Wolves and Dark Angels. I find GW models too expensive even in the combat patrols unless you do something like that. But the unit selections where great in these kits. I both like and hate that combat patrols are very generic.

Looking to offload the blood angels sprues?

For that price I get an entire army from Bolt Action.

Okay. I didn't even realize those HAD dials! I'm brand new and haven't held any of the official markers.

Nice figures but could do with having a sponge around those figures like other firms tend to do when being packed, slopping around in that box while in the mail no wonder they arrive all bent , not good business practice really

Excellent video, short and to the point with excellent visuals of the minis. The size comparison is very useful and something that often gets forgotten in mini review videos. The only thing that would have been more useful is a GW Empire figure being in there as I think that's what a lot of people will be using them for. Great idea to use them as a Saga warband as well, it a very cohesive looking force. Awesome work! Keep it up.

I think this kit is more close to the tercios españoles than the conquerers

Personal opinion but I think you went way to heavy with the primer. It's a common mistake, you can thin it down (Carefully), but primer is to give you a surface, not a color. You were essentially painting the primer on. Not saying it should always be translucent, but I can "feel" a primer, I don't necessarily need to see it.

I had two motivations to buy. Transportation to coloring meetings and a complete workspace at home. I wonder if the big package won't be heavy to transport with all the colors. we use these as proxies for german power armor in konflict '47. warlord metal miniatures are too expensive, so these make good proxies.

Thanks for your video, without it I would have struggled a bit more than I did. I have to say I am surprised at a kit costing as much as this not even having basic instructions on how to put them together? relying on a QR code which actually does not work? Cruisers were a nightmare to assemble... thanks again for your assistance

Great review, short and precise. I want these for my turnip28 armies.

Paint them black.Thin layer of white paint on something flat such as piece of plastic or whatever ,then touch the numbers on that paint on flat surface. Done and dusted. Just like kids stencils. Don't ne wasting your time.

The elbow joints are the most difficult, you have to be very precise with the glue otherwise the joint will freeze and not be mobile
