    In predefined Field 21:21 Vertical coordinator will be= -60 you take -1 And the stress magnitude 2 = -1750*9.81*60 But you take = - 1750*9.81*1 Can you explain why you take 1 ?

      Check if the UMAT file is correctly placed in the working directory. The UMAT file should be in the same directory as the input file. Check if the UMAT file is compatible with the Abaqus version you are using. Some UMAT files are written for specific versions of Abaqus and may not be compatible with other versions. Check if there are any syntax errors in the UMAT code. These can cause Abaqus to fail to run the job. Check the log file generated by Abaqus for error messages. The log file can provide useful information on what went wrong and help you pinpoint the problem. Check the input file for any errors, such as incorrect parameters or missing information

    Hello Man. Thanks for the video. I did every step you did in the video but i keep getting this error. THE *CONTACT PAIR pair (ASSEMBLY_S_SURF-1, ASSEMBLY_M_SURF-1) HAS BEEN PROCESSED BEFORE. REMOVE DUPLICATE PAIR. -- THE SAME PAIR OF SURFACES CANNOT BE SPECIFIED MORE THAN ONCE FOR *TIE AND *CONTACT PAIR. ONCE A PAIR OF SURFACES IS USED FOR *TIE, IT CANNOT BE USED AGAIN FOR *CONTACT PAIR AND VICE VERSA.

    How can the pile is activated in geostatic step and there are no displacements in geostatic step. If pile is present in geostatic step the equilibrium will not be achieved due to difference in weight of soil and pile. Could u pls explain!

    I think when you were defining the tie between surfaces, you chose Magneta for the edge of the surface, but I assume that Magneta arrowhead is the inner side. I am a little confused about this. would you please explain it a little?

    Hi, thank you for your video. I am modeling a similar geometry, but I receive a warning that says: for 32 beam elements either the average curvature about the local 1-direction differs by more than 0.1 degrees per unit length as compared to the default curvature or the approximate integrated curvature for the entire beam differs by more than 5 degrees as compared to the approximate integrated default curvature. this may be due to a user-specified normal or due to the nodal averaging routine used by Abaqus. this difference may cause unexpected behavior of the beam and you may want to verify that the beam normals are correct for your problem. the elements have been identified in element set warnbeamcurvature1. I split the curved part into smaller portions, but I still have this warning. Does it affect the results?

      It's an effective stress of soil that calculate as follow: ( Saturated soil density-water density) *g=(1800-1000)*10=8000
