I do just fine with the browser window version rather than the desktop app. No keyboard shortcut to type, just click on the pinned browser window. Am I missing something?

I am just starting out and have looked at getting into some tech to help me as I have started. I have only had about 3 clients so far and like I said starting from scratch. Should I just start out with the the PM SW and Input. Or go for more tech right away? I am looking at stuff like anchor for the engage since that is one of the worst parts. And also need a better way to collect payment, but I am still lost on what I should do.

I use Clickup, which I learned about at a Scaling New Heights conference. I used PracticeCS for years, but it’s like using a DOS program. I tried AeroWorkflow which was good, but Clickup has much more functionality. It is a shell and has a pretty high learning curve. If you add CAS to your firm, you need to use project management software not time and billing software. Took me a while to figure that out.

My favorite use case is to upload a vendor statement with many invoices in it and a vendor export from accounting software for that one vendor and tell ChatGPT to identify any missing invoices between the two files. Gets it right and it provides the user (me) with a sense of accomplishment. I also use it to create useful scripts to automate my financial analysis.

Great video. I've been using to Canvas to start building simple lead magnet resources we can embed on our website. I tried Copilot as well and it is terrible for excel. Free adding are more robust.

Chatgpt was my favorite new hire of 2024, moving to the team version and teaching my husband to use it leveled us up even more! Tasks that I used to spend enormous amounts of time over thinking are now done quickly and efficiently. This was great- I learned even more that I haven't had the chance to explore yet!

It might be worth it just to NOT hear her complain... and the secutity aspect you mentioned... but the person has to have the password to initially login to all those apps anyhow...

Are you loading all of your transcripts into one GPT? Or do you have a separate one for each client? Where is it housed?

Its normal in my country to have all together in 1 firm: taxes, bookkeeping and payroll overall service. We are a 3 person company: 1 bookkeeper, and me and my partner check the bookkeepers work, do the taxes and the payroll. Would be weird for me not to know something of that.
