What cv axles do you use when you swap the gtt awd platform to the Rav4? do you keep the stock gtt cv's or do you go with rav4s? And if you go with Rav 4 axles, does that mean that the caldina and Rav4 axles are interchangeable?

Anything to make your vehicle not kamikaze itself in a 35 mph accident. Ive seen bad stuff with the new 19+ ravs. If it could at least save the engine, id be interested. Also not driving 125mph will help with overall safety. As far as i know the vehicles get faster every year. Hypocrites. 😅

Hey ho, what about the A2 Rav4. I have one with stock 1az-fe Motor. Is it "plug and play" by hardware to swap to 3s-gte with stock gear? (I know electric and fuel pump has to be redone)

Most people aren't aware of Toyota's heritage & progression and that there once was an in-line 6 Celica-Supra. Two weeks ago, I drove nearly a thousand miles from Baltimore, MD to Akron, OH to acquire and trailer back an unmolested 1992 ST185. Lol, a 30 year old example registered "historic" means since there are no emissions, I can tune it however I want. Not to mention the aftermarket for this car has matured and OEM parts are relatively cheap. A worthwhile project vehicle must begin on a worthwhile platform, otherwise it's destined for disappointment. I have a 2000 RAV4 automatic, it's tired and never had any power. I need to know if there are any performance engine swaps for an automatic or if I'm just going to have to abandon it all together. Not putting a large amount into a 22 yr old RAV4. I may end up just putting a Honda motor & tranny in it. Don't get me wrong, but I have a bad hip, I love my Rav. Toyota doesn't have much support other than replacement in kind, but with Honda you can cobble together different engines make huge power gains for $1000 or less ...hell I may even cut the damn front end off and put a junk yard LS in if I have to.

Is there enough room to be able to remove the intake manifold to get to the fuel injectors while the engine is in the car I'm doing the same swap but i want to eventually be able to run e85 and a standalone ECU So i wanted to upgrade fuel injectors are you able to work on it while the engine is inside the car or do you have to drop the engine?

I have a 1995 rav4 and i instal an structure behind the bumper made out structural square tubes and it’s really strong and no one can see it, i installed because the radiator and Inter cooler was so exposed, (I have the Intercooler between the bumper and the radiator) I would like to share a picture of the structure with you.
