LANDED in Sydney For 48 Hours. It's AMAZING 🇦🇺
มุมมอง 8Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Join us on an unforgettable journey as we uncover the beauty and charm of Sydney in just two days. In this video we arrive the day of the Melbourne Cup, one of Australia's biggest national sporting events. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Australia's largest city!
Please head to Manly on the ferry from Circular Quaya next time you’re in Sydney. It’s a stunning beach walk to Shelly Beach.
The pub you went to is the Fortune of War
Great video. Cairns is a beautiful part of this country. Good to see you are enjoying it.
Hotels (PUBS) in Australia DO NOT have memberships, on the other hand, leagues clubs, RSL clubs etc, DO, but NON members are welcome too !
Just to add to the fact B Ball is NOT big, yes there is a league, but seriously it is a minor sport.
WRONG ! Basketbal is NOT a BIG sport in Australia ! In NO WAY!
How does Australia rank against the US mate??? Thoughts
oh man that's a whole video by itself. I plan to make one of those down the road
@RoamingMarketer hopefully all good Bud, like your vids mate you have a beautiful young family. Enjoy your time in Oz my friend see a bit more of our beautiful country. Take care buddy, enjoy yourselves
thank you for visiting our city , just watched your movie / video . Glad you had a great time , and wish you all the best with your future travels , have a great day
Get on the light rail and go to spice Alley
Hit up a R.S.L. and get a Parma.
went there, thought about getting a membership!
Basketball is very popular...go the Taipans!...PS Baseball is popular in South Australia. There it has a pro standing. Also, baseball or softball is played in most schools across Australia. I grew up playing it because we had American teachers.😊
didn't know that about baseball
The Tahi food in Australia is the best outside of Thailand IMHO
If you come all the way to Australia, you should try some true blue Aussie sports, like cricket, AFL, Netball or Rugby League
would love to see footy
I do a lot of travelling to southeast Asia, only 4 to 5 hours from here in Perth depending where you are going. The food is always good and Australia has a lot of southeastern Asian immigrants and consequentially good authentic Asian food.
Warts and all we love it , it's our lovely City. welcome .
Grid Iron, Basketball, and Ice Hockey. Three sports that have no interest to me whatsoever. 🇦🇺
They call themselves a hotel because in Australia and the UK, this means a pub and that's how they started life. They predominately served beer on tap and spirits and in the old days, the main bar was separate from the Ladies' Lounge. The main bar served 'counter ' food, maybe a roast etc but not the extensive food offer that they currently have because they have moved with the times and reorientated to expand their offer..
love that
The Brit’s or Irish don’t call pubs Hotels, it’s pretty much a unique Australian quirk
Starbucks don’t make coffee!
I cant believe Americans would come all this way and not stay in Sydney longer. The ferry ride to Manly, the zoo, the mountains. Some of the convict history is worth seeing. You need a week in Sydney not jet lagged to even get a glimpse
If I am going to spend an extended time anywhere in Australia, I would find it hard to find a better place than Cairns.
100% agree
You lucked out though. The two cellar dweller teams playing eachother.
hahaha still fun tho
Taipans don't stink, they just have had a ton of bad luck
i agree, was joking on that one. They have some talent for sure
This time of year it is all about cricket. Try a T20 match
The two types of grounds you see in Australia are AFL "Aussie Rules" and Rugby League. Both games we call footy. New South Wales and Queensland are more Rugby League followed and played whereas the south of the country Victoria and South Australia and Western Australia follow and play Aussie Rules. Those posts you saw were for Rugby League. Rugby Union is similar to Rugby League game wise but there are two different games all together. Union is a globally played game and League is mostly UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific islands.
Taipan , a snake you don't want to meet.
ive heard ha
Basketball is a major sport? HAWHAWHAW
Hey did you realise PitMaster/chef Mel Chmilar "Darkside of grille" recently arrived in Cairns from the US with his family to check out the food & chill just as you guys are doing (he is vlogging as well) and you might bump into him a a local restaurant. Perhaps a tasty barbecue meet might be on the cards - haha. Enjoy
I didn't know that!
Haha. At least your honest about the Cairns Taipans. They stink..😂✌️🏀
If you get a chance, check out the Australian armour and artillery museum in Cairns...
another great video! i grew up watching my brothers play baseball, its popular but in South Australia AFL is probably the most common sport.
Loving these videos and stoked that you're enjoying your time down here. Thanks.
Hi guy's nobody cares about basketball in Australia try to get to a NRL rugby league not rugby union game take care ..😊
would love to go to one!!
NRL, the only sport requiring no skill to play. Just buy a bottle of muscles and off you go
Rubbish. Basketball is VERY popular!
Basketball is a huge sport in Australia, especially at junior levels. The men’s and women’s national teams are very good. There are many Australian players in the NBA. Your ignorance is astounding.
@@robe461it’s ranked 7 as far as popularity goes in Australia, even behind rugby union, that’s says a lot.
It’s underrated to walk around the backside of the Opera House, truly see the harbour and the bridge
Love Sydney, my hometown. ❤
Wear a hat mate!
glad you had fun in sydney and youre always welcome back ! :)
Continuous summer is our life, we go to South West France in the Australian winter. We live by the beach on the mid north coast of NSW , so you go right ahead and do summer anywhere in the world , its bliss. Enjoy every minute and your baby will grow up so well travelled.
Starbucks failed in Australia cause it’s really bad coffee
Sorry but you know the crocs are there. Sorry if someone told already! Yikes
My favourite place is Darling Harbour. A MUST FOR VISITORS. ❤❤❤❤
The Hero of Waterloo is the oldest pub in Sydney.
Young Canadian Dude Here. My visit to Cairns also changed me and my life. I have never visited a place that felt so much like home before despite it being my first time there. Life just makes more sense in Cairns than it does in Ontario. I think it’s because I’ve never seen a place so full of natural dopamine, the nature hikes, the sounds of the birds, the coral reefs, the fishing, the abundance of outdoor activities, the wildlife, zoos, tourist attractions, tropical islands, friendly locals, the scenic bars, the encouragement for adventure, and a culture similar to Canada but different in all the right ways. I miss it and the friends I made there everyday. I hope I can save up and go back soon, this time for longer.
Hardly anyone comes here!?!?!? What Thah! 😂😂 It's only a major international tourist destination! Like the Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef! Loved it 42 years ago when we came to live there, pop was only about 35000 we thought we'd died and come to heaven! Yeah it's a great tourist centre and I guess "ya gotta have progress" $$$$$ Lived there and worked on the Reef tourist boats for 30 years but couldn't stand it any longer so on retirement we moved to the Atherton Table Lands and then to a small town 1½ hours down the coast, to me Cairns itself has turned into a hot dump but is surrounded by exquisite beauty! So yeah its well worth coming here for the Reef and the Rainforest I do still Love the area just not Cairns 😅
Just so you know mate, we despise Starbucks. When in Rome champ!
Shocked?? How about fascinated ?
When are you moving Downunder?
I go to Malaysia often, and the area around Cairns reminds me of Penang, but all of FNQ is fantastic.
Cairns is one of my favourite places in Australia, but unfortunately, it's a long way from where I live here in Perth.
Been there before great place!!
Starbucks is swill! Most Aussies have too much respect for their palate than go drink that stuff!
