How Spelunky Compensates Its Players
มุมมอง 925 ปีที่แล้ว
I love when games leave room for players to express themselves in the form of extra challenges. It's important for a game that allows for such creativity to adequately reward its players for doing so. But sometimes, the game has its own opinions on how difficult the experience should be, and gives the player an additional pool of nonsense to wade through. While this can feel unfair at times, Sp...
Tether Cancelling - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
มุมมอง 38K5 ปีที่แล้ว
A technique that has carried over from Smash 4: Tether Cancelling. Recently used at the 2GGaming Prime Saga by Dark Samus player YB against Dreamer, catching both his opponent and the commentators off guard. Its uses are limited, if any, but here's my breakdown of how this mechanic works. Sources of clips used in order of appearance: 2GGaming Prime Saga Highlights - th-cam.com/video/IK_VuyX0hAs...
The Versatility in CS:GO's Utility

What's The Deal With Wobbling?
มุมมอง 1285 ปีที่แล้ว
With the topic of banning wobbling making its rounds in the Melee community again, I thought I'd take a look at some of the common arguments made by either side, as well as provide some of my thoughts on whether or not it should be banned for tournaments. How To Choose Your Main in Smash Ultimate
มุมมอง 9745 ปีที่แล้ว
Being the type of person to struggle with choosing my main in most games, I thought it would only be logical to pretend as though I know what I'm talking about, and subsequently share that with the world. As I've delved further into fighting games over the years, I've come across a number of strategies to help narrow down this choice, and hopefully some of these tips can prove to guide the conf...
Smash Bros Ultimate: Tips for Beating the CPUs
มุมมอง 1.2K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Here are some tips on how to best the high level CPUs in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate and unlock the characters that might be giving you trouble! Hopefully this proves to be of some use to some people, but be sure to not focus too hard on the CPUs for improving. For this video I decided to test out the replay and video conversion functions within Smash Ultimate, but I found the quality is less...
What's The Deal With Wavedashing?

Spelunky Guide - How To Go To Hell
มุมมอง 3.3K6 ปีที่แล้ว
For you, dear viewer: A guide on the steps you need to take to open the door to Hell in Spelunky. Getting to this secret final level is a convoluted process, so I summed it up with some tips and tricks that I have learned along the way. Hopefully it comes in handy for some young, wide-eyed Spelunker. Enjoy ♥
I’m super late to the party with this video, but as a samus main, I want to say that this was one of the most helpful smash ultimate videos I’ve ever seen. I’ve accidentally done the tether cancel with samus before, but had no idea how to replicate it until now.
This is what I’ve been looking for
Samus is so cool 😭 thank you so much for this informative video ❤
69th comment here, nice
I had fought some glitched cpus Once i was fighting diddy kong then diddy kong started moving left and right like if he had a seizure, it was fun to watch until a stage hazard hit him and he was back to normal. Also today i was fighting peach and she did her final smash and i fell a sleep on a platform (i had like 135 health) and peach was under the ledge. She was trying to do the up smash and it didn't work so she kept trying. But couldn't reach me. So she was just repeatedly doing the up smash and im just sleeping there just watching her miss every shot. It was hilarious to watch. Both cpus were level 9 The cpus are broken in this game
this works with Byleth?
min min doesn't exist according to this video
This was made 2 years ago. Min-Min was released into smash on 29JUN2020. Have a good day!
I like pushing my opponent in disadvantage at the start of the game before building their damage with stray hits/reads/reactions while keeping them there. In disadvantage, I use whatever tools I have to get out of there as fast as possible. I also like early kills but that is optional. Who do you think I should main?
Actually super helpful cus u can avoid ur get up roll , off ledge , from being punished because ur landing on stage instead. Also faster in some cases
I always end up doing this by accident. Thanks I can do it on purpose now
This was such a good guide what the fuck
Isabelle mains with side B tether 🥲
Hey dude, you've made insanely well put together videos, I hope you come back
If consistently died going for blood, mummy barf, and mystery crates.. it's dumb... and I hate hate angering shop keepers
What's the damn input? How come I just drop like a rock after the tether?
I wish I was smart enough to make Tether Cancelling: Ivysaur Edition 😔 Also hi hello the algorithm brought me here, good stuff :)
Excellent vid.
That ending!
It’s hard at first ut was how he explained it for me I just held down while I was rising and I landed on stage (BTW im using Lucas for this)
I know this way later but i saw a samus do a hanging tether, they cancelled it did a b reverse charge shot and then recovered. Potential style use and kill from really low
Do you think it’s possible that Byleth has two upB’s like she has two side B’s and depending on how hard you mash B is which one you get?
Most of the time when I tether to the ledge is to avoid a follow up hit, but if you just go toward the stage you are going to eat a fsmash
Im a samus main and always thought it was a glitch cause i always did that sometimes
Love the video man! They actually nerfed the CPU's in an old patch, but its good to see this a year later. I still will never forget the palutena CPU I lost 2x to
Years later... Double jump cancel zair for Lucas...
"Many Suit Samus" LMAO 😂
This is high quality for such a small youtuber. Great video!
I’ve done this a couple of times by accident, and always try to repeat it, thanks for giving an idea on how to do this.
YO that's sick as FUK
Still waiting for your next video :)
My names victor
hello victor
hello victor
yes, I NEEDED THIS INFO THANK YOU
Just play as gannon and start button mashing
😂
Thia is some quality content right here
This is clean and almost complete. What is missing is the "pro tips" to deal with shopkeepers once you've killed one. These tips would talk about patience, distance, shotgun cooldown, sk watching in your direction, and sticky bombs, ...
0:20 who else hears a click here?
"40 of the little squares" I don't think Imma try and count that out 😅🤣
You can also swing with it. I've done it in her stage, the one with fire and the platforms break up, and release at the peak of the swing uptown completely bypassing ledges.
Finna do this today
"Interesting" says me, a Little Mac main
Lol still go to know if you play random
Wait... Byleth was a huge mistake?
nope
oh.
so i did this accidently during a match but instead of just slowly landing on the stage in front of him, i teleported right behind him. i wonder if you can pull that off consistantly? i cant remember what inputs i did. i kinda just flicked buttons lol.
Personally I don't believe in that "Picking a main" thing. I don't like the idea of playing just one character and ignoring the rest.
Why is this so hard to do holy shit
0:58 4:32 “similarily” 😂😂😂
I recently found myself stumbling over this word. Brain gonna brain haha
Im improving my samus, thanks for the video! By the way, my channel is small I subbed you, wonder if you could sub me back =) please ?
1:26 jesus that read was beautiful anyways.. so to cancel it all you do is hold down?
Essentially lol. There are certain guidelines to whether or not you fast-fall when you cancel it that I cover in my Byleth video, but long story short, just tapping down gets the job done.
This was really helpful, thanks!
Returning to this video encouraged me to lab a bit with Lucas. His tether cancel works slightly different from Samus's. If you jump OVER the ledge while doing the tether, it will eventually snap off once past the ledge. Once you pass that 90 degree threshold, the snake will snap off, and if Lucas is close enough to the ground, he'll actually teleport a bit in order to land. It's a bit weird, but essentially gets the same positioning. The timing is weird because you have to tether before crossing the vertical line but have enough momentum to go past the vertical line before snapping. You pretty much have to be in line with or above the stage line for this to work. Nice little tech that seems pretty cool.
