man that solo on the way young lovers do is amazing it’s the only live version i heard him play a solo on that song. Jeff is never talked when it comes to guitar playing it’s more of his singing

Listening to Witches Rave, I just know Jeff would have went in a thrash-y more raw direction. I feel like Jeff was just a massive liability to his previously constructed image on Grace. He was ready to evolve continuously on each record. What a fuckin' bad ass! He clearly gave a fuck enough in the right places to not let the bullshit steer him more toward an even more commercial sound.

i just read in “his own voice” that jeff was very drunk during this performance likely because of the stress of promoting grace and sony being upset that he dissed mtv, but honestly he still sounds amazing. and in his own words: “tequila can not sing a 90 minute show… i found the next day that the only good antidote is unstoppable song straight from the bones. anything else just goes into the urinal at the end of the night.

Jeff Buckley was the Mozart of our generation. Still hard to believe he is gone. I’m glad I was able to meet, and see him in live. It was a religious like experience.
