And that things are set in stone and you don’t choose your partner. It sets you up to not see abuse and to accept any treatment because they are the one. It’s so dangerous. You have a forever someone who will have to work to remain your forever just like you will but it’s not set in stone and no one knows who it is besides you. You just will have a lover. And it’s the religious and Greek figures trying to gain points with the universe by controlling people to get together. By forcing souls to be mates with one another without consent. Evil Cupids.

Glory really was the best villain from Buffy and the most unpredictable one in my opinion. You never know what's she gonna do next, she's so great. In the end maybe she was stronger than Buffy alone, but Buffy and her friends as an ensemble were stronger than her

Maybe?? She was most definitely stronger than Buffy, she's a divine being! And Buffy had to sacrifice her own life to save her friends / the world. So actually, they kind of failed against Glory. She was the final boss and I see S5 as a conclusion to Buffy 1.0. Which it sort of was.

Glory wasn't wrong about the stronger than human part. Literally the 'weakest' vampire is stronger than a very strong human. Riley had to use a super-steroid just to hang if we can all recall.
Glory should get more love as one of TV’s finest baddies. She was an incredible villain. Absolutely hilarious while also being terrifying and strangely relatable.
