Will this fit on a Russian sks. I have a kit on mine but the stock end has my face at least 6in from the aiming part. The stock is too long. It needs to be shorter.

Bought one 4 years ago it's been leaning in the corner of my safe. The handguard portion has warped half inch to the right. Might try putting it in a oven . Any ideas

Hi I live in Canada we don't have AK but we have chinese type 81 will your stock work with it ???? I like the Iraqi Tabuk sniper rifle and want to make a type 81/Tabuk sniper and would like to use your stock for it

So it's normal that the stock needs to flex in order to tighten it to the action all the way? I don't need to remove any material to make it not flex so much?

How do you put a rifle sling on it?

well, i am not so impressed. it is not straight, magazines fit with force, return pipe shield it incorrect dimentions... and it is heavier than wooden stock...

This is no way a drop in. Had to remove material from mini mag well tangs plus I have to remove material from the stock where trigger assembly goes in. Hopefully when I'm finished it goes together properly.

I found the best way to get the "Compliant" part and the receiver block is to email ProMag and make your request. Phone calls are a waste of time. They will email you back. I got these parts within a week. I followed this man's instructions, and everything went fine. 1/4 x 20 bolt and all. Use a 1 1/2" long 1/4 x 20 bolt or screw. (that length stops just below the hole you make in the compliant part) Also I read about a lot of guys who had to file or grind some of the stock to make their parts fit, especially the trigger, I had no issues, everything went without a hitch. Except when I went to lock the trigger, the very back of the receiver didn't seat on the stock, so as you go to close the trigger, you have to squeeze (with your hand) the receiver into the stock as you close and lock the trigger assembly. (He shows this at 8:20 in the video) If your paws aren't strong enough, find a stronger set of paws. I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. (after pricing other stocks) My M1A was made by Springfield Armory 234****

I really thought it was a folding stock When I saw one in person I was so disappointed It's still the best looking sks stock imo but the fact it's not a folding stock means no purchase from me I'll just stick with the standard stock I guess

Just got one and It was completely worth it. It improves the accuracy, feel, and ergonomics of the rifle. One thing nobody mentions but is true; it makes the reloading easily with the built in magwell flares. There really is no reason not to buy this stock unless you absolutely want your M1A to remain in “classic” configuration.

Ok... tried to follow your instructions... 1st... Installing the receiver into the stock.. I had about a good 1/4" gap between the receiver and the stock. I couldn't apply enough pressure to get it to go down any further. 2nd.. got the trigger group in place, it looked like it was all the way inserted, I did tap it down with the block, but could not for the life of me get it to cam over.... any suggestions s to what I need to do... other than let a gunsmith fit it...??

Yea. If only the pro mag magazines actually held the round like in the reviews instead of spitting them everywhere. I had to modify the ring that holds the ammo down just to keep them in

I fitted this stock on my Ruger Mini 14 Tactical. The trigger guard mod isn't as difficult as the video makes it to be. Now the bad part, Amega Ranges scout rail doesn't work with this stock assembly. Only Ultimak and Samson scout rails work with it, but they don't have the same amount of railspace as the Amega Ranges scout rail. Another problem is that after installing it my Tapco Gen 2 mags fit kinda too tight. If you are planning to get this stock its better to stick to the steel Ruger Mini 14 mags.

I agree, these are trashy wastes of money. My Loaded M1a was only able to fire a few rounds in this stock before it started failing to fire. Took the action back to the original stock and it runs like a champ.

I got item# 2-PMAA123 ProMag Archangel for AK47 from Cheaper Than Dirt. It doesn't seem to mate up to my Serbian Red Zastava N-PAP. Did I order the wrong buttstock? If so, which one should I have ordered for this gun? Thanks!
