【COMBO MAD】 Bayonetta 3 - à la mode
"And for our dessert menu, it's Bayonetta 3 combos served à la mode!"

~ Enemy HP Values ~
Nebulosus: 5200 HP
Accolade (Hammer/Shield): 6000 HP
Floccus: 8000 HP
Fractus: 10000 HP
Like Bayonetta 2, points listed in the combo meter reflect the damage dealt divided by 10. This means, if an attack gives you 15 combo points, the true damage value is 150 damage. Please note that Witch Time and the Improvisation bonus will increase the numerical point value by around ~1.5x but not the damage value.

~ Preparation ~
Bayonetta 3 rarely features singular enemy encounters which leads to a lot of time spent isolating enemies for a 15 second combo or so. It is highly recommended to use Yellow and Red Lollipops for temporary invincibility and damage buffs to clear out enemies. In addition, certain Demon Slave moves such as Gomorrah's Bite are recommended to clear out undesired fodder.
I would also pay attention to checkpoints. If you mess up a combo, let the enemies kill you so that you restart the verse. It's best to taunt the enemies on higher difficulties in order to restart the verse quicker.

How do you do the glitch where she goes flying up like in the combo at 3:00
Sorta requires the enemy to be ~2 launches high. Then, Bayo needs to be relatively close to the enemy while using Umbran Spear (RB * 2). For some reason, this angle causes the tracking for Umbran Spear to freak out, allowing Bayo to pass the enemy and zip into the air.

This is absolutely insane. I always knew I wasn't incredible with combos, but thought I was decent. Boy was I wrong after watching this. Actually incredible work with the gameplay AND the immaculate editing.

Not even close. IMO bayonetta 2 is the best but I can understand the argument for 1. But bayo 3 is unfinished. They had a great idea with the different maskerade forms, I don’t think they should have done devil slaves and kept the devil wink. Bayonetta is so OP in the base game. Hell you don’t even need a summon or special weapons, you just need to spin the joystick and P with CMW and you deal with most enemies and get pure platinum. Not to mention viola is a terrible character, both for the story and the way she’s played. DMC V did a much better job passing the torch to the next generation while also making Nero a very fun character to play as. Honestly viola plays like a confused Vergil picking up Yamato for the first time.

I enjoyed the game but the combat is bad. The whole video is just legions skills and legions rotation, with a few basic attacks in between. The legion's skills have so much hitstun that you can do whatever, attacks autotracks the ennemies, no need for timing or positionning. I was hype for the game when it came out and it still is today my biggest disappointement on Switch and when it comes to action games. The video is nice though, it really is Astral Chain in a nutshell : good looking, but no depth.

For some Demon Slave commands, if you activate Wink Slave while it is active, it causes the Wink Slave attack to be replaced with that Demon Slave command. It doesn't work for every Demon Slave command but in this combo, I'm exploiting Madama's BFG command. I think Drayzher may have a video that documents all the affected Demon Slave commands.

Easiest way to learn this is by using the umbran clock tower as your summons with the combo finisher and when in use as a regular demon slave use dodge offset to activate the demon while playing regularly
how did you do the move in 3.02-3.04? i've never seen it
