If you want motivation to go on the Patagonia trip I recommend reading The Pilgrimage, by Paulo Coelho. It is a recollection of his journey from Spain to Santiago de Compostela. It is inspiring to say the least and encourages big solo adventures to find yourself. Love the content man

Great to hear Alec's thoughts on this. I remember seeing him exclaim 'Brewskies!!' at a reward challenge when he was on Survivor 🤣. Iirc he was a bartender around that time. Then a couple of years ago seeing him mention in an upload drinking with friends maybe once a month so as to not tremendously impact his fitness goals and regime. I particularly like his points at 9:00 about leaning into life and new hobbies. I'd be interested in hearing more in a follow up video about the positives it's had on his overall fitness and physical wellbeing.
For what its worth, the simple stuff is enough sometimes. If I watch a day in the life video with a solid training session and good eats. It gives me a boost to get it done myself.

Running shoes nowadays are all the same: 1- Expensive as hell 2- Bright orange, pink, green, blue, red, whatever. As long as it almost blinds you just looking at them 3- Have a rubber sole of at least 5cm thickness
