Hey Jive, I raid on Mankrik currently with a guild that does entire EPGP. I know a few guilds on Whitemane horde/alliance who are clearing Naxx who run MS>OS ect for their runs. Dwarflord has a great video going into detail on it. I do agree that GDKP prices got pretty bonkers in era for a hot minute, some of them actively competed with higher pots than Wrath GDKPS which blew my mind. However, I do think that things are actively returning to normal, and that yes options exist for people who don't want to just GDKP.

Hey Zader, I run on Mankrik on a guild that does every single raid as EPGP. While also running GDKPs on alts on whitemane. My point was that those prices are coming down, from every gdkp discord I've checked including mankrik the prices/pots are rapidly coming back down to earth.

I guess it's different for everyone, different strokes for different folks, but I spend less than 30 minutes a week getting wbuffs, the large chunk of that time comes from waiting for rend/waiting in line for DMT. Consume grind I'll give you is a bit rough for really just warrior, but I've got a few 60s of different profs to help supplement the consumes needed ect.

Oh I'm with you, there's some great stretches of the leveling ark imo but when I hit barrens or westfall I kind of hit a wall after doing them so many times. Sitting in Disc with the homies and or netflix has been a saving grace in terms of leveling for me haha. Glad to hear you're enjoying SoD, a lot of my friends who still play are saying they're enjoying this phase a ton.

@jacquesdussart9053 oh no I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just saying retail and classic both have toxic communities. But I've tried over 10 times trying to find a guild to play with no one responds, I've tried so many times trying to raid with people and no one invites.

@@Blinkurz I think main spec meta parsing is fine as there is normally a large pool of competition. What I wanted to add but didn’t was that cheese off spec parsing is detrimental because a lot of people will try to use it as a “I’m parsing higher I deserve more loot” despite it actually being a lot easier to parse with a small competition pool.

@@Bossbabyy99 yeah 100%, I parsed all 99 as Arcane Healer but was struggling to get above 90 as Fire Mage. Definitely people who try and cheese the system, I was asked to go arcane because we were missing healers 1 week tho.

Right on glad you're having fun, SoD steered too far away from vanilla for me. Quit mid phase 3 after hitting 32 minute ST. Getting that fomo for early phase gearing thought right now.

I was a tbc andy in 2007 and it took my holy priest 6 months to level back then, didnt realise at the time the difference between healing specs and dps specs, mix in a lot of afking in stormwind and shatt and generally being lazy/hating questing. Since classic has rolled around, I stock piled 1000s of pristine black diamonds while the paladins were farming strat and they were down to 1g in classic and tbc to resell and thought f it, I have all these diamonds, ill go for the insane and felt pretty good achieving it. Sorry for ranting but this is my small story of the types of players that played back then and who they are now and we arent the same people. Vanilla was made for shit gamers, when you play something for 15 years and get good at it and go back to how it was, theres no wonder that its gonna be a super cheese mode, low skill cap game cuz that was our baseline when we were noobs.

@@falco1758 I completely get it, there’s a ton of quality of life that comes with blizzard servers that just isn’t there on private servers. Warmane does run on the wrath client even for vanilla so it’s a tiny bit newer

Yeah I'll be completely honest, my exp is pretty biased. I was in a guild that was over-healing so a lot of raids from a healer perspective were just super safe and boring. I'm super hyped to give it another go
