Iran’s Axis of Resistance Surrounding Israel
Iran has financed, armed, trained, and, in some cases, directed terrorist and militant groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis around the Middle East to incorporate them into its ultimate goal of destroying the State of Israel. That close relationship is why Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who shared the goal of Israel's destruction, was in Tehran when he was assassinated in the early hours of July 31, 2024.
This video, a compilation of insights from experts who participated in the Center for Israel Education's webinar series in response to the Hamas-Israel war that began October 7, 2023, is the first of a set of resources drawn from those webinars and focusing on specific issues and topics that emerged.

A Palestinian state won't come after a referendum in Israel. It's not for the Israelis to choose how or when a Palestine will exist. The IDF has never had the best interests of Palestinians in mind, and they don't get to shape the future of the Palestinian people. Crazy idea: the Palestinian get to decide their future, not the people who have been killing them and forcing them off their lands for more than 76 years.

Yes indeed. America is only maintaining a status quo of hibernation through never-ending "negotiations", as long as no one is attacking its sovereign territories. The same way many European powers would rather not "irritate" Qatar or other key actors from Middle Est, in the detriment of Israel, because they are satisfied to only keep the fire burning in Israel. Thus, Israel should proceed with any rough measures needed to signal Iran and Qatar etc., that Israel will not play nice anymore just because the ICJ and the ICC are purposefully shifting the blame on Israel (as an info war of attrition).

Gaza was not occupied. It is and was governed by Hamas. At the time of the music festival it seemed Hamas wasn't motivated to attack Israel. All that said probably still a mistake but not for the reasons you think. Many other countries don't have a constitution. It's sort of an American thing. It does have "basic laws" and the declaration of independence that serve a somewhat similar purpose. Another by the way in case you're not aware, between 1948 and 1967 Gaza was part of Egypt.

I get so tired of the question of what should Israel's response be to October 7? October 7 is the response to decades of brutal oppression and ethnic cleansing. Saying Hamas Just Needs To Surrender Is Saying We'll Kill Kids Until We Get What We Want "Such a tactic is not meaningfully different from lining up children on their knees on the battlefield and shooting them one by one in the back of the head until the enemy unconditionally surrenders." You want to prevent the violent response of Palestinians? Stop the violence subjugation. The reality is that lsrael couldn't care less about preventing another October 7 as it provides the pretext for their continued displacement of Palestinians, which has been the goal since day one. Oppressed people and occupied people have a right to resist their occupier, International humanitarian law says so !!! Palestinians have a right to resist their 75 year brutal, illegal, genocidal, ethnic clenasing and occupation! Who Israel is fighting? Which army? We are not see another nation's tanks, jets, drones missiles who Israel bombing 165 days ? We just saw home made rockets destroying Occopation Tanks. .Oppressors demand justice from the oppressed. What a strange world.lf my memory serves me correctly I remember Jews in the ghettos used violent resistance to oppose Nazis. They often use Molotov cocktails, smuggled guns from the outside and escaped. Once they escaped they formed partisan groups. Also, there were Jewish councils (Judenrat) within the ghettos that cooperated with the Nazis. Are we selective when it comes to "resistance groups" that fight for liberation from their oppressors? 😂If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign a treaty with Israel. It's normal; we took their land. It's true that it was promised to us by God, but how should they care? Our God is not their God. There were anti-Semites, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was it their fault? They only see one thing: We came and stole their land. Why should they accept that?" in Le Parade (The Jewish Par 121 Ben Gurion "When we say that the Arabs are the aggressors and we defend ourselves. this is only half the truth. As regards our security and life we defend ourselves and our moral and physical position is not bad. We can face the gangs... and were we allowed to mobilize all our forces we would have no doubts about the outcome... But the fighting is only one aspect of the conflict which is in its essence a political one. And politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves. Militarily, it is we who are on the defensive who have the upper hand but in the political sphere they are superior. ~DAVID BEN-GURION "We must do everything to ensure that they [the Palestinians] never come back. He assures his loyal Zionists that the Palestinians will never return to their homes. "The old will die, the young will be forgotten." David Ben-Gurion, in his diary, July 18, 1948, quoted in Michael Bar Zohar's Ben-Gurion: the Armed Prophet Prentice-Hall, 1967, p. 157. The Arabs just have to go But it is necessary a favorable moment to make this happen leave it, it's best something like a war" Ben Gunions T12.July 1937 A few days after the UN General Assembly in November 1947 decided to divide the British mandated territory of Palestine into an Arab and a Jewish state, David Ben Gurion declared in a speech to leading members of the Israeli Workers' Party: >>In the areas belonging to the Jewish state assigned, there are 40 percent non-Jews. This composition is not a solid basis for a Jewish state. And we must face this new reality in all its severity and clarity. << Only a state with at least 80 percent Jews is ">a viable and stable state"<. When Ben-Gurion declared this, Jewish politicians and senior officers were already preparing plans to use force and terror to expel the Arab population from the future territory of Israel (far beyond the territory allocated by the UN). "When Israelis in the occupied territories now clairm that they have to defend themselves, they are defending themselves in the sense that any mlitary occupier has tn defend itself against he population they are crushing.. You can't defend yourself when you're militarily occupying someone else's land. That's not defense. Callit what you lke, it's not defense." Noam Chomsky Zonism is a form of racism and racial discrimination'.If the day comes when the two-state solution collapses, and we face a South African-style struggle for equal voting rights (also for the Palestinians in the territories), then, as soon as that happens, the State of Israel is finished. And are political We are the aggressors and they are defending themselves." David Ben-Gurion n 1938 at a meeting of his Mapai party. 1. Israel violates international law 2. Palestinians fight for liberation her homeland of 75 years IsraeliOppression and terrorism 3. The Israeli military and the settlers are the ones Militants', NOT the Palestinian ones freedom fighter 4. Armed combat is internationalQuite legitimate 5. Israel has been kidnapping many years Palestinian. Just one very small minority of world Jewry and their descendants have lived since uninterrupted for thousands of years in Palestine. The population Palestine has been one for 2000 years Jewish minority. The fact, that only a very small number of Jews lived in Palestine, gave the Other Jews around the world don't Right to come to Palestine to ethnically cleanse Palestine and to steal land. The Israelis have the Palestinians never offered an agreement that would Israel's complete withdrawal all illegally occupied areas and the Allowing Palestine to operate as a sovereign state within secure borders act, includes. Why should they? Palestinians something less precise accept? Who for anything in the world would accept that almost a million foreigners to your country can come, many of them are vicious racist terrorists who Violence against your population exercise, and then they demand you State that divides your country in two? l'Il answer it for you that no one would accept it. As Hitchens said, it guaranteed injustice towards them Palestinians. If the day comes when the two-state solution collapses, and we face a South African-style struggle for equal voting rights (also for the Palestinians in the territories), then, as soon as that happens, the State of Israel is finished. Ehud Olmert World famous Professor Noam Chomsky states Jews have no claim to the lands of the Middle East. Judeans are an Arab Nabatean tribe called Hud or Judham from tanukh part of the tayy tribe or temanim.Jews are not judeans because they inherit the religion from the mother they don't have tribes. The historical Abraham is most likely hammurabi, Moses is Sargon of Akkad noah is zuisudra, jesus is mithra or martu or marduk or horus For the curious out there, Israel was first created when the wandering tribes of Judah banded together to sack the peaceful/neutral city/state of Jerusalem to make it "their" capital, Even Abraham said that he stood in the Land of the Philistines.

Gil Troy, I watched your video hoping to learn something about the creation of Israel and its implications. I read my bible avidly and am always eager to have opinions of Jews as to world events. However, something of your arguments today struck me as especially Nieve. You say in your own words that "Zionism is none partisan." Although I am not Jewish I had to put across my objection to this statement. The actions of the state of Israel are entirely partisan. Zionism at its heart is a self defining and an undemocratic movement, which is highly "partisan." Israel excludes and marginalise those it does not require in the state. Hence by definition Isreal is partisan. When the Major Powers allowed your terrorist fighters to be legitimised after the bombing of the King David Hotel, Ben Grunion and others immediately set about excluding and denying legitimacy to none Jews, while at the same time attempting to join the United Nations and be regarded as a real country, and not just the continuance of a terrorist state. The real term for the system that Israel has created is Aparthide, or the separation and negation of democratic rights from none Jews. The original inhabitants of Palestine as outlined in the Balfour Declaration envisaged both Jew and None Jew living in harmony. Zionist forces, on the other hand chose to drive out or murder their enemies. The world powers who gave Israel legitimacy in 1947 never imagined that Israel would legitimise the removal of democratic rights from the majority of people present when the Ottoman Empire was conquored. Israel is no longer a legitimate state but an entirely artificial, racist and terrorist creation. This is deeply troubling to all people of faith around the world. The sophistry of your argument and your deviance in declaring your state to be by definition "democratic" is ridiculous. Israels methods of operating since 1947 has been to rig elections, and exclude from representation huge swaths of people who don't fit a racist profile. The victims of Isreal are treated as subhuman minorities and are eliminated or otherwise displaced. They are told that near-by countries must take them in. Meanwhile the Jewish population of Isreal takes in any person claiming to be Jewish from anywhere else in the world. So in order to reinforce your own desires of self selection, and occupation of the holy lands, you use the might of superior technology to decimate your internal and external opposition. None of this is democratic, but it may quite legitimately be called racist and self serving. You put the peace of the whole world in jeopardy for your own self promotion. As a human being do you not have any concern for those people who do not match your favoured religion? I believe you are trying to claim the moral high ground from your argument, but your methods of obfuscation and double dealing are plain to everyone with any humanity to see. Relying on tales of the program’s of previous centuries can no longer legitimises your current actions. Despite receiving massive subsidies from the United States, Israel has developed nuclear weapons of its own, and seems willing to use them should the right target be identified. Isreal is a state without a conscience that is willing to have other armies brought in on its behalf to maintain a kind of hegemony in the Middle East - the most destabilised and dangerous region in the world. I often question the reasoning of the leaders of Isreal in their unrivalled temperament of always seeking out conflict and for most of my lifetime always getting into dangerous situations for little apparent gain. Do you have an air-raid shelter Gil-Troy? Or do you posses some other form of insurance to explain your obvious joy at the dangers brought about for the entire world. I do hope you are able to, as you say, visited your mother at the weekend? Then perhaps she could teach you about loving and forgiveness. Is TelAviv that important;, or the Jaffa beach so close to your heart that you couldn't think of living anywhere else? Is living in America out of the question? Scotland is introducing laws that seek to eliminate all forms of racism and promote even gender realignment in an attempt to bring about harmony throughout the wider world. This is an examples of a country attempting to accept any individual , no matter their religion or orientation. Human rights are promoted and not ignored. You conclude your video by making reference to your home in Jerusalem. Please think hard on what God calls you to do, or are you another niellist pretending to connect with the concerns of your readership?

Sadly your website is in Hebrew. Feel free to reply with links to any related or republished content that appears in English. Thank you. I’m interested because I’m committed to anti-terrorism; whether it occurs in West Africa (1,800 terrorist attacks in 2023 alone). Not meaning to distract from what you’ve been through, just contextualising where I fit in as far as groups of supporters of Israel.

Religious Zionism is believing in G-d +/-. It is a form of idolatry. In Hebrew Bible, Devarim 32:17 reads as follows: "They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods they had not known, new gods that had come recently, whom your ancestors had not feared". The medieval commentator Ibn Ezra suggested that the “new gods” mentioned in this verse were actually the gods of foreign nations that the Israelites had come into contact with. "new gods" is today's Zionism. Zionism is a nationalist movement that emerged in the 19th century to enable the establishment of a homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine. The movement initially emerged in Central and Eastern Europe as a national revival movement in the late 19th century, both in reaction to newer waves of antisemitism and as a consequence of Haskalah, or Jewish Enlightenment. Since the establishment of Israel, Zionism became an ideology that supports “the development and protection of the State of Israel”. One cannot deny that the conflicts in the middle-east is caused by the Zionism movement and the violations of the 3 Oaths made by the Jews found in the Talmud (Song of Songs 2:7, 3:5, 8:4): The Oaths: First Oath: Israel should not ascend to the land in a wall (i.e., en masse or forcefully). Second Oath: The Holy One adjured Israel not to rebel against the nations of the world. Third Oath: The Holy One adjured the nations not to oppress Israel excessively. Jews worldwide are now paying the price for the violations of the 3 Oaths Zionism ("new gods") is only around 100 years old. It is the transformation from religion to nationalism, to materialism created by non-religious Jews who hated their religion. The reason why they use the name Israel, the Star of David, hijacking, stealing the identity of Judaism and the Jewish people is in order to gain a legitimacy for their existence that should lead people to say, 'oh, it is God given to them' and that they should use fear and intimidate people from speaking out against their actions because they will call those that do anti Semitic; it couldn't be anything further from the Truth. Had you been listening or reasoning with the Torah, then Israelis are now living in sins like the times of northern and southern kingdoms. Micah lists specific sins of both the northern and southern kingdoms. These sins include idolatry (1:7; 5:12-14); the seizure of property (2:2, 9); the failure of civil leadership (3:1-3, 9-10; 7:3), religious leadership (3:11), and prophetic leadership (3:5-7, 11); offering sacrifice without truly repenting (6:6-7); and corrupt business practices and violence (6:10-12). Israel did 911 guys - And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Jeremiah 11:9 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. Daniel 9:11-12 Hear this word which I take up against you, a lamentation, O house of Israel. Amos 5:1 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well-favored harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and will set thee as a gazingstock. Nahum 3:4-6 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. Ezekiel 5:8 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. Daniel 9:13-14 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? Exodus 32:21 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testified against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. Nehemiah 9:30 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, they turn aside the poor in the gate. Amos 5:12 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord. Zechariah 1:4 For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed her. Lamentations 4:6 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. Isaiah 1:4-5 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. Micah 3:8-10 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, unto this very day. For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shat say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briars and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, not be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. Ezekiel 2:3-7 We have sinned, and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. Daniel 9:5 Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Amos 3:1-2 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Hosea 14:1 The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers. Zechariah 1:2 But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. Lamentations 5:22 Howbeit thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly. Nehemiah 9:33

This is ridiculous. Some of the harshest critics of Israel both now and historically are Jewish, such as Noam Chomsky, Ilan Pappe and Norman Finkelstein. Is all criticism of Israeli policy anti-semitism? The people who should be 'paying' for the Holocaust, which was the worst genocide in history, are the Germans and Austrians, not the Palestinians. The attacks of 7th October were appalling acts of terrorism- I think we can all agree on that- but bombing Gaza into oblivion while Israeli settlers deprive Palestinians of their land and homes is not an appropriate response, especially while invoking Amalek! 12,000 children have been killed.

Did you watch the video? None of the panelists claims that all criticism of Israel or Israeli policy is antisemitic. To the contrary, Mark Rotenberg notes that campus protests are not counted as antisemitic incidents unless longtime antisemitic tropes (blood libel, puppet-mastering) are deployed, and Mark Goldfeder and Howard Lovy talk about the 3D Test to assess whether a statement is antisemitic. As for how the military campaign in Gaza is being conducted, that is not discussed during this webinar, except to say that it's antisemitic to blame any and all Jews and Jewish institutions in North America for things Israel is doing.

Of course it's antisemite behavior. You don't see Chinese restaurants in the US being vandalized because of what China does in Tibet or to the Uyghur population. Young people today love to be self-righteous without understanding the complex nuance of the geo-political environment. It's fun to signal to your friends you're so smart! And if they can destroy some public property while they're at it so be it! I am willing to hear valid criticism on Israel's actions. I have some myself. But threatening college kids physically and verbally is the lowest form of anti-semite bullying. These "wokesters" are all for love and dignity to all beings -- except to their college friends who are Jews. It's okay to threaten them. I'm not okay with that.
