my holiday will only be on 12/25 will it still be worth it on last day ?
It’s the last day, so maybe it might be ok, it’d definitely fun and good food. I’m not sure though. If you can go it will start on the 25th at 17:00-23:00
The flamengo badge 😂
🤤🤤
The food looks so good 😮😊
It really was, I almost couldn’t finish it. Took awhile, but I was triumphant in the end!🤣
@@awesomekyushu wow must be a big portion! Congrats on pushing through 😆
Cool videos, mate! Last week I posted a video for Itoshima. How was the seafood BBQ?
Thanks for watching. I have to say, dining throughout the area is always fun and a great experience. I love that most restaurants use local ingredients and it shows. They also have quite a few great bakeries as well. If you ever want to go with me, happy to show you or hang out, send me a DM. Cheers
@@awesomekyushu Great ideas! I'll follow up :)
Love the video❤️
Thanks😘
Great video. Would love to see more info about Itoshima. Would like to move there.
Thanks for watching. I will definitely start going around the area and film all the interesting spots now that it’s starting to cool down, stay tuned.

What a lovely event thank you for sharing :). I heard there will be several Christmas Markets around Fukuoka like the one in a big mall, is it true?
Yes, but the two largest ones where all the fun is, will be in Hakata and Tenjin from the morning until evening, so you can go there during the day as well.😎 Food can be a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is great. Thanks for watching.
Nice nice video and nice choice of music too … now we know what to expect of Hakata City which I thought was only called Hakata Station :) thank you !!!!!!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.
Can I purchase a ticket for someone else? I think it scans passport so I’m not sure
Yes, it is possible to purchase a Shinkansen ticket for another person. When buying tickets at a ticket counter, online, or through a vending machine, you do not need to provide the traveler's personal information. You simply select the desired departure, destination, and class, and pay for the ticket. The person for whom the ticket is purchased can use it without issue. If you purchase the ticket online, you will typically receive a reservation code or an e-ticket, which can be sent to the person you're buying for. They can then pick up the physical ticket at the station using that code. I hope this helps.
@@awesomekyushu perfect, that answered all my questions. I appreciate the help!

Went here on Oct 2023.. very relaxing and neat place..a lot busier now..
We were lucky, when we went not a lot of people, less than 20, it gets even busier around New Year’s as many people from the surrounding area visit it at the midnight hour. Very tranquil, thanks for watching
was this open first week of december?
Usually it starts from 11/17 until 12/25 definitely recommend it.
다음달에 후쿠오카에 여행가는데 여기 꼭 방문할께요.! 저희 부부에겐 천국인 곳이네요!!
그렇군요 시청해주셔서 감사합니다
Had the pleasure of visiting this weekend, what a wonderful city! I especially loved seeing Kokura-jo castle park and learning history at the Peace Museum. I can't wait to come back one day! :)
I'm not sorry I missed all the "progress". I liked it better 64 years ago. I skated at the sports center, except during the sumo basho. Rode a steam powered train in the summer (windows down) through many tunnels? Married a girl from Hakata in 1962. Seeing all the changes makes me feel like someone stole my past. I've seen enough of Japan to say Kyushu is a true representation of a great country!
Ahhh, that’s a cool story. Yeah, I’m a young guy who loves all the classic nostalgic stuff. I’m originally from L.A. and I really understand your feelings, I went through the same thing for my generation, so much has changed and I feel sad sometimes when I go back and visit. Thank you so much for watching.
Does it have the same texture with nama donut?
Somewhat, they add some rice flour in the mix to give their donuts a more bouncy texture.
@@awesomekyushu is that true? The original recipe?

Anyone who recommends Starbucks, knows nothing about coffee, disgraceful.....
I get it, but it’s still the giant super weight of all the coffee shops, not my favorite either, but they do have awesome wifi and they are open late, sadly most of the coffee shops in Fukuoka close around 6pm on average, a few maybe 8pm I mean, Starbucks between 10-11pm that helps a lot a of people who finish work late or just want a quick brew.
May i know where is the exact location of these event?
Yes, it’s located in downtown Tenjin, in Fukuoka. Here is the exact location, and thanks for watching. maps.app.goo.gl/UCnUHummCsCfvhyd9?g_st=ic
I came to the comments to see some opinions on these foods just to be surprised by the lack of popularity of your vids! Deserves more traction for sure. Keep at it!
Thank you! Fighting the good fight, I deeply appreciate it! Thanks for watching.
After watching mostly all of your videos, you SUCK! Just like funjamjapan.., no wonder yall can’t get subscribers…, your videos have no real sense of reality or real essence to them, just fake fast view making bullsh**!! Put a little more effort into how you can express your true talent TRUMP SUPPORTER!!!!!
The voice over is garbage! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
…
We are planning a visit here, thank god we watch your pathetic video.., that way.., we can video it much better, than how you’re poorly uneducated way of doing it. This video is garbage with only 423 views. Looks like we gave you a view 😂!!
What time do the shops open? Most seemed to be closed
The shops are opened from Monday-Saturday from 9:00-15:00 Sundays closed.👍🏾
@@awesomekyushu so this is a Sunday?
@@10542256 Actually, it was just a few minutes right before after closing time.
Why are they not wearing safety vest so dangerous
Actually, they do offer safety vests if you ask, but most people don’t use them, and paddle very slow, just impossible to do so fast and they have enough staff on hand, I personally never heard of any serious injury happening there, and the water is also not that deep. You have an hour to row take in the scenery and have a good time. It’s a wonderful place to visit, been going there for years, it’s so much fun. If you ever visit Japan you should go and see for yourself if you like it and want to try it. There are lots of spots along the bridge to view the river and boats.
Boycott McDonald's 🇵🇸
If that’s what “you” want to do, go ahead.👍🏾
Great stuff, I'm a craft beer nut will definitely head there when I'm over next month...
You’ll love it! They have a huge selection of regional beers it would take you a week to go through all of them, but I have to say the food they serve is also quite delicious, and next month will be the perfect time and season to come. They usually open from 18:00 cheers!
The food look amazing
This is very interesting ❤
Thanks! Not planning to go this year, but good to know anyhow. My last visit i did not have the aid of this and luckily made it only to one day of full bloom while in fukuoka. The rest of the kyushu trip, i just saw it mostly on the ground elsewhere.
Yes, and after Covid, last year was the first year after it finally finished after 3 years of lockdowns, I decided from this and from now on to post the dates of the Cherry Blossoms each year so that people have enough fun and time to prepare for these events.
Good job
When do you think the cherry blossom will bloom this year??
As of right now, the cherry blossom time table schedule didn’t come out yet, it should by the end of this month or beginning next month, I’ll keep you posted.
have you tried devil level ramen ?
No, I have not. Is it good? Where can you eat it?

Nice video, thank you. Best regards from Germany .
Thank you!😊
I'm actually sorry to learn today (20231022) that the IMS biru has been taken down. I spent much time there at the international center and restaurants. Is there an international center elsewhere now? Also, it was the only building in the world that I've seen that had a curved escalator.
Yes, it was a great nostalgic building, but they are working on and constructing a new building, the building next to it, Tenjin Core is gone as well, the new building should be up and opened by next year 2024 hopefully it will be cool as the former IMS building. Thanks for watching. www.fukuoka-now.com/en/news/a-core-tenjin-big-bang-project-revealed/
@@awesomekyushu I'm going to be back in Fukuoka during Christmas/new year and was actually looking forward to visiting the IMS biru and Tenjin Core. Oh well.
Hi, do they open daily?
Thanks for watching. Yes, they are open daily from Mon-Fri they are open from 5:00-15:00 and from Sun: 8:00-15:00 earlier is better if you want to try the freshest fish, I would recommend before 9am.
