Is it debris or a poor fir from DJI ? - how I fixed mine I am not convinced it is always debris. I think the press fit is inconsistent. You can manipulate the motor slightly and free it up.

Proper starting procedure for Ys 4 stroke engines
So you’re video helped me fix my drone. I pulled 3 screws out then noticed 2 of magnets where laying horizontal instead of vertical. It took some playing but got them back in proper spot. I had crash caused this. Now it’s fixed flying great.
If i remember correctly my Benchsource was around $500 when i bought it from Buffalo Arms but that was a while back
It’s a stuck bearing. Mine did same thing upon first flight. I contacted DJI and they said the mini 3 and pro are made with a bearing in the motor that may move during transport or storage. Mine eventually freed up. Best thing to do they say is manually spin it.
Very good review, genius idea with those tube shims. Where can you buy such shims?
I don't remember where they came from. I had them laying around so utilized them.
Kudos on the shim idea. Brilliant. Waiting on my V3.0 to arrive.
How much variance do you get without using the indicator? Have you checked to see if it has to do with rim thickness? Because the Primal Rights is based off of seating it from the rim of the shell holder. If there is a variance in the rim thickness then it will vary in the seating depth. Just a thought, I'm going to check into my measurements too to see if that's what's causing it, just got me thinking...
Def plays a part. Stacked tolerances as well.
Congratulations on installing a pressure indicator. I have the same tool, could you tell me how you attached it to the primer machine ?@@flooded3456
Im about to Maiden one over xmas period with a saito 100. Hoping to get around 90 to 100 mph out of it straight and level. 20 % nitro.
what prop?
@flooded3456 Thanks for responding 15 x 10 master airscrew ? Juz can't get a YS down here in New Zealand .
If you will mount it solid and pull it hard it will seat them the same
That has not been my experience, it's why I've gone this route.
you can see the clamp mounting it solid.
I mean mounted solid not on that plate, maybe just to try it, it should have a very positive feeling like hitting a brick wall, then stop. It looks like it just eases the dial indicator to it, you should be able to put all of your body weight on it and it not seat any further.
My two days old DJI Mini 2 drone hit the wall and one motor refused to turn. Haven’t found solutions yet.
I had the same issue it had knocked two of the magnets loose and I was able to reset them by taking the rotor off to gain access. Thanks for the video 👍 easy job with just the screwdriver and a small razer blade
Check the magnets, I fixed mine by getting magnets back in proper spot
Still like it?
I started shooting competition. I now Anneal around 100 brass a week and after comps closer to 350. This annealer was great but I am all automated now with Amp annealer and Dillon case feeder set up.
Hi there, thanks for the video. I'm battling with a gifted YS 91 from a friend. Pretty difficult to make it run smooth. What I notice is that there is a lot of fuel coming out of the carb when it is not running... is it normal?. I am a OS Engines man so not very familiar with an engine that comes with a tank behind the carburetor or something like that.... is it a pump of some sort? Thanks
I suggest you download the ys fuel line routing system.
One more question: how do you kill the engine? The carb is very different and the barrel doesn't close like any other carb @@flooded3456
Just close the carb sleeve like any other carb
This is where I am at now; I get a good idle and a good max RPM but I can't kill the engine!! It seems like the throttle arm stops at minimum RPM (idle) but it doesn't advance any further in a way that I could cut the air intake completely!! How do you stop the engine in your case? Definitely a very different carburetor compared to any other engine I've seen...@@flooded3456
how do you know if the brass has been heated enough and not too much ?
Tempilaq
It seems to have shoddy QC and poor design such that you had to modify it three times. Add to that with it not even coming with a power supply? Then, you have to feed cases one at a time. Thanks, but I'm much happier with my Annealeez, which auto-feeds and needs no modifications.
thank you for your comment - this was three years ago, at our beginnings. I assure you that we have improved significantly. and yes, we offer it with power supply now.
Richard still producing/selling Vendetta?
No, he has retired. These are no longer made as far as I know.
Since Tru-Turn is out of business. Who/what do you recommend for aluminum spinner for the WS?
I just used an alumn spinner from HH or Tower
Needed a like and comment, so keep them pointed. Bought the AGS annealer after your review. Thank.
How did you determine the dwell time for those cases? Seems pretty rando. Do you have any idea what temp they reach with that setup?
Time is determined by what yields the most consistency for resizing consistency results
@@flooded3456 so you’re “eyeballing” it and “going by feel”? All the rest of y’all watching this should know that’s not a reliable way of annealing brass.
I see you put extensions on the bottom like I did to make it tall enough for long cases. Good unit, but has room for a couple improvements
Yes Stephan now offers these risers and his latest version has several upgrades addressing some of my concerns.
And what's crazy is I heard that Haiden ran that next race with a newly installed crate motor and still won by a lot. So he never really even needed the factory bike. I wasn't necessarily a Deegan hater but, this whole thing really stunk. Brian Deegan should never have been alone in that room without the kids parents being there. I'm also a lifelong Yamaha rider but, this was shameful.
Y'all kill me it ain't how much money you have it's who you know
Ordered the v3 after watching your video , thanks for the review 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The gathering of the people talking is conspiracy they shook on the deal its done ✔ except he took his money back under duress give up the bike
Thank you for the review, i will see if they’ve addressed any of the issues . 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The deegans were trying to avoid the cheater claim but still received it all the same with their actions.
Why add drama to a already bad position for Brennan he stands to loose everything over a bad decision. He is the loser here. Others should have made sure he knew the problems caused by doing this.
Is there a distributor of The Wprld Model in the US?
jrpropo / dfa in ca gets these from time to time.
Great video, was just looking at one of these. They do sell a riser for a 2.0 version. The 3.0 version is made with a higher base and comes with a power supply cord I believe. Regardless...good review...direct and too the point. One question...how do you determine length of time to heat? 5 seconds, 7....10?
The newest versions also have a LED screen instead of the analogue like mine. He definately added great features. As far as how long... Use tempelac I just went to the flange protruding from the case mouth turned a certain color. With my dual set up For small rifle it was around 4 seconds. Medium to large rifle around 6-8 seconds. You won't regret this annealer. It does what any flame annealer out there does for a lot less$
What torch is that?
Just a cheap one from Ace Hardware or Amazon
Very nice, shoutout from NW AR, I just dove down the rabbit hole myself and started buying up equipment for my home bow shop, press is next. Have a decut, siruis spinner, g5 asd, the last chance bow scale, and some misc. items.. slowly growing it. Oh and have a bitzenburger with all 3 clamps.
Finally someone with a brain speaking the truth and not dick riding the deegans - no hate toward them but we know deegan ran crying to everyone that would listen and help them not let this bike get taken ! ! Walker should of stood up for his rider , fact engine builder did and took the hit just like the kid who claimed bike ... Brennan is a smart kid he has been the most clear and can headed and the bigger person thru all the shit he caught for thinking outside the box !! Stand tall Brennan
Hey Marty, just stopped by to say Hi. how's bow hunting been? been hot an buggy in my neck of the woods. starting to cool down. hope all is well.

My first thought was to get rid of the landing gear and learn how to hand launch and catch. Zero risk of debris?
not really. There are many who do that and have the same issue. In fact a lot complain about bugs/polen/insects in there. I fly RC helicopters and air planes and know very well how to land, fly etc. The issue with these motors has more to do with regular use.
Nice job, well planned out.
Thank for telling this story for some reason this story makes me so mad so unfair to all the kids in the race hope the AMA and all the up and coming kids will make it fair to all that races
shame on Brennan's engine builder for fronting the money and pressuring him into making a claim that will ultimately hurt his career.
Good to see someone not throwing the kid under the bus..
💥 p♥r♥o♥m♥o♥s♥m
Smart man. He said everything I was thinking just couldn't put into words. Thanks for articulating that story. I love the deegans to man sucks all around to know this how it really is in the world is.
Yes he had a right to claim the bike, but only reason he wanted it was to make money off the Deegan brand by using something tied to Haiden. He wasn't gonna race it himself for fear of the same thing happening to him.
In Canada? This is a AMA rule at a National sanctioned event. Not a Canadian thing. Besides who cares why he wanted it. It's the rule and he or you or me should be able to claim it w/o fear of repercussions from factory teams or youtube influencers or anyone else.
Ok why did this kid start a go fund me and then got it shut down ,didn't he have 17 k? the money he got working part time for four months ,why did Brendon put hate on snap chat about Haiden after south wick ,and you have proof of the so called cheater parts ?the kid did it out of spite because he is not good enough
Yes we all have proof he has parts in his bike that were not considered factory or aftermarket as Yamaha themselves admitted to having sensetive parts in that bike they didn't want known. Brennan is his name and he himself said getting Haidens bike would not make him ride like Haiden. He admitted Haiden "ripped" but he just wanted a factory bike. As far as Gofundme who cares. My vid wasn't about any of that. It was about the process that failed a kid who claimed a bike by the rules. If I was there racing I would claim Stars bikes and not worry about the cry babies. Rules are rules
@@flooded3456 ok understand ,but why is everybody putting hate on Haiden ,he doesn't build the motor ?
And brendon was on a standard bike with no modifications right ,?
Brennan ,
@@michaelhoward7652 I'll try to answer both questions. No nobody in 250B was on stock bikes, remember Brennan had an "engine builder". lol. Running any part you want is fine, but that's what the claim rule is for, to keep the bigger teams from running "excessive" parts the regular guys can't by over the counter. Second question, why is everyone hating on Haiden? I dont think 90% of the responders are, in fact most are disappointed in his dad, Star Yamaha and the rest. Few are blaming Haiden at all. Hope this clarifies the questions.
I may do another video on this claim rule. Not anything to do with the Deegans or anyone involved in this. Lorettas has become a spectacle and when you have a following like Haiden does, that's a lot of fans there on your side no matter what you do, right or wrong. The claim rule needs to be such that the claimer is never known. The money is given to the bike owner by the AMA and the bike and title is given to claimer by the AMA after the event with no mention of who they are. I have other ideas like this to keep this more discreet and safer in an ever growing social media world where all news is old news within 15 minutes.
Difficult to find proper torch head. Many are too long and flame is too long and wide. Any recommendations from Amazon or Ebay? Great video.
benzomatic
@@flooded3456 Could you post the model. Seems as if Benzomatic is a brand name that encompasses many torches from soldering to grass burners. Thanks.
it was a works bike, the brat was cheating and now the kid is tainted forever because of the greed of his handlers. The Canadian kid should have kept the bike and auctioned it on ebay, the Yamaha management will never hear the end of this especially on December 7th.
I would be more pissed if I was Brennans parents that my main sponsor talked me out of it because it was a bad look..not knowing exactly what the sponsor said.. but must have been extreme for his dad to pull out pretty quickly.. THEN the sponsor drops him anyways takes all Brennans bikes back. 5 in fact.. and the sponsor was a Yamaha dealer. so he didn't get the bike because he was probably threatened that if he took it his sponsor would drop him.. so he says fine we will drop. then gets dropped any ffin way. I'd be talking to a lawyer. sounds like the sponser/dealer played a major roll in the hoodwink
Amen
Ok at first I thought damn good idea getting a works bike for cheap. But now I think it was a chump move on the dude try n to claim the bike. Everyone knew about deegans plan to race next week to get points to turn pro. So a true motocross fan would be looking forward to see how he is going to do against the fast guys. To take his bike that he and the team put all that time into. Is lame. Plan and simple. If dude got bike then what ride it ? If anything breaks what then? He would have to put production parts on the bike and soon it would be a bike he could by from a dealer. But he already was furnished bikes. Say what ever makes you want to be leave is fair but the victim here is the deegans. Without doubt
you said that Everyone knows what the Rules are in AMA... I would agree... so tell me Flooded... why has there not been One Complaint filed by anyone involved or from anyone that was there... wouldn't you think that a Parent from all the kids riding, or anyone from the 40+ riders would have stepped forward to complain, what about Video... are you telling me that No One took their phone out to take a video of this Mob... nothing...? lol... you want to blame someone... blame the idiot who thought he could get away with claiming a bike that was Never his to claim... Derek Harris.
It seems that Derek Harris the so called engine builder talked Brennen into the claim... yes the rule is there... but no one uses it for a reason... they will get blackballed from any Manufacturer Sponsorships. have you ever heard of unwritten rules in sports... Brennen's Dad has and knows the ramifications that this would cause... Harris was looking to Profit off of Both Brennen and Deegan... thanks to Brennen's Dad, Derek Harris Failed Miserably.
Haiden isn’t a cheater. His father is.
