A nurse case manager is specialized. RN are used mainly In utilization management and transitional care. Welfare services are the case manager that are non clinical, they work on Food stamps, section 8, cash aide. Their roles are specific to low income families and disabled populations.

"If they're dealing with a situation that can alter their character within that moment." That gave me goosebumps. This and your other two testimony videos are amazing. I cannot believe I found another believer who knows the actual truth about this world and God. I did not know you were a believer when I first found your channel returning back to college last summer I believe. I am now transferring to university and about to begin my core courses in Social Work. Basically, God lead me to do social work and I guess it is confirmation considering you are a believer who is delivered! One major point I learned from watching your testimony and especially this video and one more past video is the emphasis on showing mercy. Not only do I need it for this field which is VERY IMPERATIVE... But it is something that God has used others to expose in myself. Time and time again, I would come across someone, who tells me indirectly to always smile and laugh it off if customers (in the past I worked in retail) get under your skin. If you fight back, then it would have been a lost battle. At first I use to laugh it off but it always ended up getting to me. Thanks once again and I need to remember mercy and most importantly do not let my attitude crumble from people in this world.

You will do better with a PAH match, because it’s a Project Based Voucher which can transfer to a Tenant Based Voucher. I understand the rules with guest, and adding people to your lease. But if you have a child or significant other, you can move them in as a Live In Aide. They will not be on the lease, and you need a doctor to verify your health reason. PSH will give you more financial support if you become behind on rent and it’s harder to evict. Congratulations 🍾 good work on sticking out the process. You will do well in your new home.

PSH match was chosen for you by HMIS. You must have been on a waitlist, and your score was between 80-100t. You might have a second choice, but the denial of the first option can place you at risk of losing out. If the location is safe and clean. Ride it out for 1year and convert your voucher. Then you can transfer anywhere in the US where Section 8 is accepted

This is very very insightful and informative! A manager I had when working at Costco several years ago taught me something similar to what you said. "If a customer comes in with an attitude, be kind rather than react back at them negatively." I didn't understand what he meant but I did know what he meant and it takes a lot of strength to not react negatively to an insult. This is not something I've heard when looking online or even a social work class I have, that you have to be kind and put your reactions aside for a greater goal.

At my company, it's required to have a Bachelor's in social work, psychology, or anything human services. Our caseloads are supposed to be 8 clients, but when understaffed you can have 14 clients. My caseload is 9 clients. We assist them with housing, goals, medical needs (usually from our team nurse and prescriber but we also help book appointments, drop off meds or other basic items and also accompany those who need assistance to their appointments.) We can also take them shopping until they can clothes shop themselves.
