20th Century Boys’ Connection to Japan’s Most Evil Cult
Faith is a powerful belief in God embraced by many people around the globe; however, even the purest faith can become corrupted, leading to the distortion of values and the manipulation of beliefs. Asahara Shoko, founder of the Aum Shinrikyo and Friend from 20th Century Boys, took faith and corrupted it, making it into a cult that believed in apocalyptic futures.

Death Note: The Moral Question of Justice
มุมมอง 61214 วันที่ผ่านมา
Death Note from the beginning sets this questions: what is justice? It's an issue that isn't so black and white. Light's way of passing judgment is similar to capital punishment. While Death Note presents justice in a stark, clear-cut way, it remains a theme we continue to question in our everyday world. But at its core, the series explores the complex and often contradictory nature of justice....

UMmmmmmm Ok I on Light should have won side but i atleast see the other side. If anything L should have won. They illed him off and brought in NEAR I hated Near with a BURNING passion. If anything L should have got that W but i believe that Light was on the real doing good in the would so insert shrug This show was so good. The movie didnt do it justice AT ALL If it got a second season it could be about Misa finding out she was pregnant and maybe raising Lights kid and on an eternal search for another Death note and when she finally finds another one and idk his son takes his place and fucking WINS UGH considering fucking Naruto has like 11 seasons Death note should have had more then one
I agree; I definitely was never a fan of Near. I honestly thought the addition of Near and Mello hurt the story for me at least. Maybe not for some, but I felt the tension of the cat and mouse chase was lost somewhat. Some people wanted L to win and others wanted Kira to win. Personally, in this type of story, there isn't any winners due to the fact that the story was focused on the complex nature of justice. Because overall, there isn't a clear answer to it. And I didn't see the Death Note movie, so I never knew some of that information. Outside of the main anime, I watched the musical which I quite liked and like one episode of the Netfix adaptation which I regret watching. As for the discussion on more seasons, I feel that there could have been more to the story itself. We've seen one-shot or extras done in the Death Note world and it could have been interesting to maybe see what could have happened. As for Death Note, I'm not sure how it would look if we had more seasons like in the sense of an extension of the story. It's hard to say, but I'd at least probably check it out at least.
@@theidiotsquare Mello and Near definitely hurt the story more then helped it. If anything i think the storyline would have been better if they didnt kill L and didnt bring those 2 in. The entirety of deathnote takes place in the span of 5 years and its i think 31-32 episodes if anther they should have spilt the season cause a LOT happened in the first season. Even if they didnt though theres so many things they could do with a season 2 they could have Misa get a grip and not kill herself or wtv she was doing at the end they can show the effect of what Kiras work actually did they can show how theres probably life devoting cults to Kira it can follow up on Lights family and mom learning who and what he was. I just think it could have been taken so much further yk? but its like 17 years old so theres no hope for anything now. If you dont mind me asking who were you rooting for? I alr said i was rooting for Light. I legit thought he was golden until they brought in near. The trap they lured him in was really dumb and light should have been smarter then that. IDK if you've seen the comics but in the tv show his death is at least a little dignified but, in the comics, its so like it shows that Light was essentially like everyone else? IDK you gotta look it up.
I very much agree that Mello and Near definitely hurt the story for me. I really just liked the original Light v L cat and mouse chase. I'm not sure how they would change the ending other than doing what the did for the musical and have Light kill L but then Ryuk kill Light. Or something around those lines. I don't mind telling you which side I was rooting for. I watched Death Note when I was in high school, and at that point I was a huge fan of Light more or less because I enjoyed how he out smarted his enemies, but at the same time had a flaw that made him not perfect. I understand why people root for L though because overall this really is just a question of what justice is. It's complicated and there really is no right answer. And I say there isn't a right answer because depending on the environment you grew up in and the society you live in, the answers could change. In addition, it also goes into the concept of revenge so too speak. The idea of and eye for an eye. Light chooses himself that he needs to be the one to judge these people who have done horrible crimes since the law itself won't do it. This happens in real life too where the innocent are convicted and the guilty roam free. Various factors in our legal system and lack of informational can often be the cause of this. In addition, prejudice can also play a factor in the decisions. It's just complicated and the reason why I enjoyed rooting for Light is because I personally find anti-hero/vigilante fiction to be very interesting more or less.
Light ended up tricking himself. At the beginning, he laughed at the idea that the public created this identity of “Kira, god of the New World“. But slowly his self preservation was corrupted into tyranny. Light’s desire for justice was very quickly overshadowed with the war of pride he had started with L. His true desire was proving that his form of righteousness was correct by portraying clear superiority over L. The war of pride ended up taking 100% of his energies as he gets himself on the task force. Light Yagami, the boy, who wanted to use his intellect to make the world a better place was lost when he started to identify himself as Kira. Even if he arguably made the world a better place, that was only his goal because he had already set it and didn’t want to lose 😂😂
You are very much correct. Even Matsuda brought this up when he was talking. He is the one character that goes through a process of trying to understand the complex nature of justice. But overall, Light soon became consumed with the power of using the Death Note. His pride was largely his downfall and proved why such a thing is considered one of the seven deadly sins. This pride is what makes his downfall even happen. Light without this flaw is too perfect. He has the intellect and he is using a supernatural power, so I feel Death Note would have been boring without character flaws. So you are correct, Light tricked himself and fell into a trap in the end
Wow a pro traditional religious anime. Pro.
Yeah a lot of the yokai anime overall have this concept of samsara. I have always found this type of genre to be very fun personally and with the inclusion of ch. 163 it makes it more apparent that it isn’t just about the samsara cycle but also about something more that I’m look forward to finding out
Proud to be a patient fan i can wait for months at most just drop
Glad you are very much more patient than me. I mean I wait trust me. It’s not like I can do anything about it. It’s more like I just then forget about the series. In the moment though definitely sad about not having more chapters though
Statistically, capital punishment doesn't deture violent crimes. States with Capital punishment have higher rates of violent crimes. Most violent crimes happen randomly when people snap, no time to consider the consequences. And the number of people exonerated from death row is horrific
You are very much correct. The University of Pennsylvania Criminology Department also said that the death penalty doesn’t lower the rates a well. In addition, some crimes are indeed not premeditated. But most of those get second degree murder and manslaughter charges instead of first degree. But don’t quote me on this one because I’d have to look it up, but I’m pretty sure you do at least need to have premeditated the murder to have death roe be an option. I will need to research that
Or maybe just too many people looking down from their ivory towers, ignoring how much regular people are suffering because civilisation is too focused on looking civilized instead of enforcing civility
You are not wrong. That is one way that I wouldn't have thought of even though it is very much true. Thanks for sharing. I agree whole heatedly with that statement

Arguably he was never morally correct. He 'passed judgement' on hundreds without any consideration of nuance/situation beyond accused crimes.
Fair enough. However not everyone thinks that. Some people do genuinely think that what he did was justified. But also there are people who think like yourself that there is no way that it could be morally correct. It has a similar connection to capital punishment and with the question of if it’s correct. But thank you for sharing you personal thoughts on this
I’ve been wondering: how does the core of Vamola’s suit equate to “human karma” as Turbo Granny says?
That is a very good question. I'm not sure either but maybe there is something there that we are both missing
@@theidiotsquare That suit is made from hatred, fear, and call for help from Vamola's people.
@@leonhartono1400 The source of power for that suit, the "karma" is also a source of power for the teleportation gates. Maybe it's something the ancient sumerian's who went to Vamola's home planet (i forgot it's name) know? Earth is called "Idea" by the way.
was it the planet of sumer?
@@painlesskun3959 Yes
I am going to assume you are western. I myself am Singaporean and we have the death penalty and i find myself and generally most Singaporeans supporting capital punishment. The question of whether light is ethical the answer is no because his definition of justice can and will change like initially it started as criminals and then it evolves to criminals and those who actively oppose and track down kira. If Kira was actually a god that only truly punished criminals itd actually work but Light is a human playing god with zero checks. But you cant deny the effectiveness, i truly would rather people fear doing a crime than people fearing criminals. El Salvador is a really interesting case im not gonna go out of my way to research for a comment but im sure the citizens are probably much happier now than previously. I think most people outside of the west really dont mind losing some rights for ensured safety. Of course these death penalties are due to serious crimes as for light yagami he’d even kill petty criminals.
You are correct that I am from the west. And I find it very interesting to learn more about Singapore. In the sense you are correct that yes using the Death Note was effective. We even saw in the anime that the crime rate lowered. While overall I feel that this would be mostly short lived and if this continued for a century or so, we may have different data on its effectiveness long term. I find it very interesting how the people in the east are willing to give up some of their freedom for safety. In America at least, we take our liberties to I guess in some way defend ourselves through the second amendment. When a person agrees or doesn’t agree with that amendment, that’s was what this country was founded on. All I know is that in our country that probably wouldn’t fly. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective!
If the flower is the representation of the universe, doesn't dandadan depiction have a bunch of them?
I'm trying to remember. That's probably true. I do know that the lotus flower represents the womb of the universe, but I'm trying to recall how many lotuses there are in Dandadan
I honestly learned about nirvana through journey to the west how wukong lost to the Buddha since buddha reached nirvana and transcended the world he holds all of existence
I've watched Journey to the West! I was younger when I watched it, so I really didn't understand the Buddhist philosophies back then. Even now I'm still learning, but I always find stories that reach over to the west about Buddhism to be very interesting
@@theidiotsquare I am Indian and buddhism and hinduism are tied closely, so I understood some of it. You explain the basics of nirvana in a great way! (I am a born Christian by the way, not really into religions but curious about everything.)
Im glad you thought I explained Nirvana well. I was worried how well I would explain topics that I needed to learn about myself. Trust me, I’m worried about it for my next video too since philosophy is something I really only dabbled with meaning forced to by my physics teacher…
Watch DanDaDan being the friends you make along the way

I listen to a lot of video essays- this one is REALLY good!!
Thank you so much! I am glad that you enjoyed it :)
I love the video
I'm glad you liked this video! I've been following the manga for a while and Maki's fight with the Zenin clan made a huge impact for me. And when researching on authoritarian parenting, I thought this would be a great time to include JJK
It's worth noting that, during the few years when Kira was active, crime rate dropped by 70%
No, you are definitely correct. Crime did drop. What I was mostly talking about is that it would more or less be temporary. I'm mostly basing this off of the pretense of how capital punishment hasn't lowered crime rate, even the heinous ones. But what you say is definitely true
The reason I love death note is due to the fact we get to start the story understanding and seeing who Light is a very successful high school student with a loving family and his father being chief of police, Light at this stage is a good successful man and once he obtains the death note everything changes all of Light's insecurities and desires come to the surface we see this when he uses the death note the first time and many times more after, he's glad that it works and he enjoys using it more like a addict, when Ryuk confronts him for the first time he's shocked to see how many people Light has already written in the book and Light says it will only be the start, not only does Light now have the position in power but he calls himself a god elevating himself to the highest status he can give himself , this act shows the level of arrogance Light has reached. Capital punishment is a good thing and many times the state doesn't do it however with Light it's not his call to make and he does it anyway and this only further escelates when he deems anyone standing in his way as enemies killing them too, this downward spiral for Light gets worse and worse eventually killing the world's greatest detective and anyone else who stands in his way, eventually everything comes tumbling down in front of Light as Near tells him he's nothing more than a glorified murderer since no individual has the right to say what is justice and what isn't and eventually Light recieves justice himself at the hands of Ryuk realising he was playing a game and he made himself to be a false god and dying as a pathetic wimpering child in front of the people he deemed to be beneath him, the reason people support Light is due to the anime it presented him as this fallen hero who managed to do good and wasn't a monster when in the manga it's clear Light was a monster and the death note brought it out from deep within him even letting his own father die and not caring to pursue his goals and this has always annoyed cause the ending in the manga gives the justice that Light recieves while the anime gives him a dignified, respectful death which makes fans support him till this day anyways I really enjoyed the video and this is just my take on Death Note thanks for reading :)
All good. I’m glad that you love the show so much to write them much. I actually see this as a good thing. I’m glad you like the video as well and i feel your points are very much valid. But it is still overall an interesting comparison between the two
@@theidiotsquare I mean death note is quite a deep anime with many undertones and messages the reason I prefer the manga's take is not only because it's the writer's view but it also shows how evil Light was while the anime tries to somewhat justify it
Ah I see. Thanks for clarifying. I own the entire manga of Death Note; however, I have not read through the entirety of the series. I am very much interested in finishing it now since I didn't realize there were differences in the mediums
@@theidiotsquare oh I'm sorry for spoiling I didn't mean to do that I'm such a jerk forgive me for that but yeah I read the manga myself I was immediately hooked and I couldn't stop reading I highly recommend you finish it.
You are all good. I didn't know there was a difference in the first place. I am totally fine with spoilers for the most part. And lets be honest, Death Note is so old that it really can't be under 'spoiler' territory. So, I have no bad feelings about you telling me this. It instead did the opposite. It made me want to finish the manga that I started. So no worries. Most spoilers just make me want to read the manga
I love the video
Thank you very much 🙏
Those who are shitting on mha ending are not even fans they are only toxic fans who degrade other animes they are mostly jjk fans real mha fans knows and understand the meaning of ending it was a truly great ending for MHA ❤️
I agree. We all have our opinion. And it’s fine to not like an ending. But to go to the lengths of saying that the author is a horrible writer is going way too far. I love the ending for the meaning it has to the overall story. But I do think while I like it, it does has some flaws like some missing plot points. But I’m not going to go onto twitter and bash Horikoshi

i do understand that he is still a hero buuuut i wanted him to be a badass cool SUPER hero not a tracher
And that’s completely understandable. We all have our own opinions on the situation. I personally think that the ending was good because Deku became the greatest hero by changing society. But your opinion is valid as well. You aren’t the only one who believes that as well, so no worries
great vid! a few things you mentioned that i couldn't articulate when reading myself. Yukinobi definitely pulls from a lot of religious imagery he's been exposed to
Hopefully he knows Islam too like Djinns.
I very much agree @jaydenlewis7276
I would love to see Izuku take the Koro Sensei route that teaches next generations that there is a heroism instead of just running around punching problems. There are also many people who believe that Izuku accidentally got New Order from Shiguraki that later got charged to have 300 rules, reference to the first Nomu fight and there is a possibility that Himiko lives inside him as a One For All vestige after she took a bit of his blood and turned into him for a few minutes during the Overhaul fight, which made her into the 11th user after after Katsuki. Katsuki may already know about the New Order and Transform quirks due to his connection due to One For All, and like Izuku won't tell anybody to protect people.
I agree. I think it would be an amazing sentiment to have Deku teach the next gen more about heroism compared to throwing fists to fix all your problems. I think it's interesting that people think that he got New Order. I haven't heard that one yet, but that is an interesting theory. I just noticed you the same comment written twice also. So, same response as for the one below ;)
@@theidiotsquare Sometimes, I comment the same thing to people twice, so they get what i'm trying to say.
All good. Just didn't want you to feel that I was ignoring you by not responding to the second one. It would have been just the same comment

And still don't get girls
It is true that Deku didn't end up with anyone. There were a lot of people who were upset about it which is honestly fair since there was many moments shipping for example Deku and Ochako. Or we can even if we need to talk about the BakuDeku if we really want to delve into ships. But yeah, it can seem unsatisfying that he didn't get together with anyone which is completely fair. It could also be that Horikoshi didn't want more drama about who he'd be with so he left it open as well. It's hard to know or to speculate into Horikoshi's mind. But it's still understandable why people are unsatisfied that Deku didn't get with anyone
Spinner’s backstory is being the victim of racial hate crimes. Pretty much every heteromorph deals with it
Yes and it's really unfortunate. Just because you are a heteromorph, you are treated differently. It's as if the human part of you no longer exists which creates a lot of villains from those group of people because they were rejected and hated. There is a concept when a person or a group of people is always being for example called petty thieves, that eventually there will come a time where someone in that group will just believe it and perform that action because its not like anyone else would believe that they wouldn't do it already. I may not make much sense here but I do not at this moment know what the concept is called
Yeah, I honestly really liked Deku’s ending as a whole. I liked the series’s ending as a whole too ngl. Minus like, one character, this series is def going on my list of favorites ngl
Now I want to knew which character you did life. But yeah, I agree that I too liked the ending. I did think at the beginning that it was sad that Deku lost his powers, but overall it has a great overall meaning that I really can appreciate
Now i am very curius who the person is. Can you tell me
@@theidiotsquare Yeah, love the ending overall. It’s neat that Deku doesn’t like, ultimately get a huge fanfare and such in-universe. It’s pretty true to his character as a whole. As for the character that I don’t think is very good, oddly enough, it’s Endeavor. While I respect and appreciate what Horikoshi tried to do with him, I think Enji’s arc about changing and atoning falls apart a lot in the final act because of how sloppy it gets. I’d go into more detail if you’d like, but that would take a long time ngl. While I still think the Todoroki family storyline is one of the best parts of My Hero, I don’t think Endeavor’s character arc is written all that well despite the fanfare it seems to get.
@@nafsiaalamgir8195 It’s Endeavor. I feel like he peaked before the first war arc, but starting in season 6 to the manga, I think he has a super underwritten and sloppy atonement arc. I could go into more detail if you’d like, but for now, I’ll just say that I think there are shades of a good arc with Endeavor, but as a whole, he’s pretty disappointing unfortunately.
I very much agree that I like how Deku as a character started where he was because he truly wanted to be a hero. He wanted to be a hero that protected everyone with a smile, not a hero who is in it for the fame and fortune. I think the ending showcases that very well because what made Deku a true hero wasn't always necessarily his quirk. It was shown when he tried to save Bakugo from that slime villain in the beginning. He didn't have a quirk and he wanted to do it because he wants to protect people. Yes, being quirkless in that world makes it much more difficult, and having One for All ultimately brought Deku to where he is, but I feel that yes that overall he stuck to his character the entire story. I personally liked the Todoroki family arc myself. I was indeed also someone who really liked how the Endeavor arc went. This is largely because it was as if he was seeing himself in a mirror when he was facing a Nomu. He tried to biologically make his children into the perfect specimen and he had to fight such a thing that mirrored himself. I do understand as well where you are coming from too. The overall writing is up to interpretation on how well you think that it was written, but I do appreciate as a writer myself to see a character who we all hated have growth. But I very much enjoyed reading your explanation and your thoughts. You are completely fair to believe that the arc wasn't written well or certain parts were shaky. That's what makes discussion like this so amazing since everyone has their own opinions. Thanks for sharing!
I really like the ending, my only thing is how it appears that Deku was not acknowledged for his actions and hard work as a hero. Yes he was the greatest hero who basically took down the greatest villain, it just seemed that Deku got no obvious recognition of it all. Yes he walked by a statue of himself and the statement that kids at one point wanted to be like him too, but it isnt overtly obvious, and many people didn't like that.
I can agree with that. Even though Deku did a lot of the world you are correct that there wasn't a lot of acknowledgement. Though it's not like no one knows who he was as we saw during the ending of the manga. But I can understand how it's does feel that way. But at the same time it also means that the world stopped seeing heroes as just popular figures at the same time. But I defiantly can understand where you are coming from
I'm pretty sure if he had an option to keep his power in the end he would've.
I mean I agree. If the solution was to keep his quirk too I would say yes. But I feel you could also say the same thing with Edward from Fullmetal Alchemist. So it’s really in some retrospect still a persons own interpretation. We are unsure what Horikoshi thinks but that’s also why the concept of death of the author also exists
I have a few physical disabilities myself and this is a pretty solid video. I feel like dudiligence was definitely made witch is great. I also like that you showed a disabled couple I follow lol. I will say that any problems I have with the video are more like stuff you haven’t unlearned yet and are difficult for me to quite verbalize, such as a general discomfort and tip-toeing while talking about the topic. It’s one of those strange experiences as a disabled person where someone knows you are different, sees you as EXTREMELY different, and is noticeably trying to do everything perfectly. It feels quite isolating and I have a lingering wish you handled things more casually. For example, you seamed to try really hard to only refer to us as “people with disabilities” even in some sentences where would be less clunky to use “disabled.” This is definitively a soft no-no in my opinion. Ableds tend to do this out of some sort of nervousness I think? But it’s just sort of off putting. Nothing in this video was truly harmful accept at the end of the video where you said that some peopel love disabled people because they feel it’s about the inside, not the outside. We are not ugly. Full stop. I understand you have been conditioned to not view our apperences as especially attractive, we all have. But there are people, such as myself, who whole heartedly believe that the most attractive thing a person can be is disabled. As you said, people have different types. For me, my type is 100% disabilities!
Thank you very much for your comment! I really love hearing your perspective. It’s true that I do use the sayings people with disability due to I really don’t want to try to be rude but I can see why to some it can be off putting. And in general I really just wanted to try to be respectful since I don’t have a disability. But I totally understand your perspective and appreciate your feedback
@@theidiotsquarethat kind of language isn’t what we would prefer and is generally the mark of an abled person trying really hard without actually thinking to ask what we would like. It’s a good idea to alternate between person first language ie, person with disability, and disability first language, ie disabled person. Otherwise it draws attention to how far away you feel away from disabled people to the point where you feel as though you have to try really hard to be respectful, instead of just being casual
Thank you very much for letting me know. I’ll make sure to do this in the future
Listen I understand the message but I still hate the ending not only the ending was super freaking rushed we didn't get to see what all the other characters did we did not get to see deku's Dad not not even the back of his head Deku is the greatest hero and I'm also glad that he is a teacher but there's so many other problems of the ending that doesn't stand for that also went wrong it's not about the hero message is also about what we didn't get from this ending
That is completely understandable. There are indeed a few plot holes in the series. We also didn’t get more information about quirk singularity and what was going to happen with that. We all have our opinions, thanks for sharing yours!
@@theidiotsquare thank you for being cool with it too because a lot of people on TH-cam and other social medias honestly are ready to fucking fight for whatever reason if your opinion is different from theirs thank you for being kind and a reasonable person thank you for not being a jerk I hope you continue to live well
Yeah, I believe that everyone has their own opinion and while you may or may not agree, it doesn't mean you need to be mean about it. I honestly think its crazy how some people get. There is always such things as agree to disagree. But yeah, hope things also go well with you :)
Very true. Half the things that happened in the series wouldn't have happened if more people/heroes had this mindset. If amost all of the people in the LOV had people who thought like this, the war wouldn't have happened and all those heroes such as Midnight and Hawks, wouldn't have died and gotten injured 😕
I very much agree. The creation of the symbol of peace created the concept of heroism as something closer to being an idol. It became less about helping others and more about popularity
Toga's one of my favorite characters, she deserved better. Congrats on seeing that, you've earned a sub.
I agree. Toga deserved so much more!
You know what would've been much more inspirational that Deku became a great hero without a quirk. it would be him trying to break this narrative that "quirkless people can't be heroes" Deku is in no position to inspire people "that anyone can become a hero" because he needed a quirk to do it all. He barely got into UA without a quirk. and in the MHA universe you need a quirk to be a great hero the story could've been Deku trying to challenge that idea. A became as hero in his own right and an inspiration to quirkiness people everywhere.
I totally agree. It would have been very inspirational if people without quirks or even a person with a weak quirk became a great hero
Exactly why I've never understood the dislike of the mha ending. It perfectly ties up deku's character with the perfect career for him
Yeah I can understand the confusion there. And while I can’t necessarily speculate into others mind sets, I feel that potentially people were upset by first of all a couple of loops holes and yes there were some like quirk singularity. There was also some people upset that their favorite ships weren’t even touched upon. And finally what I think could be the reason is that people were told that Deku would be the greatest hero but to them the greatest hero was one who was considered the number one hero. But the entire reason why heroism became tainted was because of this ranking system. It wasn’t about actually helping others but for the fame and popularity. Being a great hero can be many things and I think changing the fundamental concept of heroism did just that.
@theidiotsquare what it means to be a hero is different to everyone but I like the message of "anyone can be a hero" I think the ending was really well done and it's sorta become clear that no matter the manga, once it ends people will be unhappy
I very much agree. I really enjoyed the meaning behind My Hero even if others may not agree. We have our own opinions after all and as you said that when a manga ends there will always be someone who is unhappy about the ending
I think the biggest stinger is he got cucked from the love interest that was built up the entire show
@TEXfrowg Yeah that's true. We were given a lot of Deku and Ochako content from the manga/anime, but nothing came from that. And while there are definitely other ships surrounding both Deku and Ochako, none of them have been confirmed which I can agree can be frustrating. In addition to there being some plot holes. One I think about is the concept of quirk singularity. Not much has been talked about this concept which I would have been interested to see where that went
0:00 I'm a 160cm girl who can barely lift 10kg... If I got into a relationship with someone disabled, and something happened with this person, such as falling, I doubt I'd have the strength to help them. Definitely not a good idea to date someone who may need someone to help, but you can't be that person in the way you should be
I understand where you are coming from. But that is why communication can also be key. To have a plan if something like that would happen. It really is up to the individual and whatnot in the first place. At least for me and my understanding of the manga is the idea of being a supportive presence, even if you physically cannot help them. But what you do say is very valid and definitely something that could be a concern when it comes to these types of relationships
it's easy to judge from an attached point of view let's see your reaction to having a baby that drink blood and torture animals
I think most people would indeed be scared if they saw their baby do that. But I feel that instead of like telling the child to be normal, I’d want to get them help from proper channels
In a world with people with water bottles for heads, why is drinking blood abnormal? Lol, even if you are scared, it's all the more reason to shower that child with love and the right attention.
I very much agree. Because if you give up on them, then it’s guaranteed they will end up as villains
Its honestly sad that this happens, there could have been alot of good heroes but they were shunned for something that was outside of their control.
Yes, you are correct. There could have been however after the creation of the symbol of peace, heroism became something more of a popularity contest. So a lot of people became heroes for the wrong reasons. In addition quirkes were labeled inherently good or evil which translated to the person itself which yeah it’s really sad I agree
But the person who made the story accomplish a really good thing asking the question what is good and evil
@samdinar3958 that is true. I love stories that make you question your ideology and morality
@samdinar3958 I agree. Good and evil is always on a weird line because it’s not so black and white. Different cultures and countries have different rules and what they see as good or bad
